Three seconds was all it took. Three. In those three seconds, the world came to a halt. Months of agony and animosity, ended in three whole seconds. Even as Shaina had barely clung to life, the moments felt surreal.

The two girls who started it all, would be the ones to finish it. The weak and terrified girl who got creamed in their first encounter, now had her nemesis pinned to the mat for the perfunctory three count. It was a sweet moment, but it was laced in a tainted darkness that didn't make the moment feel like it was hers alone to deserve.

DING! DING! DING!

"Here are your winners, by way of pinfall, and the last team standing... THE CARNIVAL GIRLS!"

As Shaina's hand was limply raised by the referee, and their music began to play over the loudspeaker, many fans got out of their chairs to celebrate. No matter which way it is looked at, this was a hard fought match for both teams. Each held absolutely nothing back, and in the end, it was the trio of girls who came out on top. The feud was finally over. In the end, the Carnival Girls had proven their worth, and had upset the British Bunnies, whom had terrorized them ever since that very first match.

As the medical team came out to scoop the injured girls off of the floor and peel Shaina off of Chelsea, some fans were unsure of whether to join in of the festivities. They were, of course, happy for the CGs, but they were also confused by Shaina's actions. Those actions were much more violent and sadistic than they normally were, and those fans were not quite sure what to make of it. Still, at this point, no one would really have any idea what truly happened out there. The only confirmed thing was that the fan favorites had won.

All of the girls were carted off to the back on stretchers or other mobile transport devices. As the girls exited the arena, the majority of the crowd continued their standing ovation for the competitors, giving them their appreciation for such a wild match on the undercard of We Are LAW 2020.

But as one story ends, a new one always begins. And for the Carnival Girls, it was going to be a Dark and difficult one...
