Her manager's voice floated through the cell and forced Millie's eyes into a roll. How annoying that the morning hustle and bustle and horns of the local train station couldn't drown her voice out. The Tokyo Brawl had just begun and her manager was already acting like she was some kind of child to be looked after. Wonderful. Why the hell had she signed that stupid contract in the first place?
"I'm fine, mom. The brawl just started." Millie replied grumpily, a scowl forming on her face as the blonde bitch replied with a haughty laugh. "You don't have to worry. I can hold my own." She added, smirking slightly as she was already imagining the fun she could have with some of the others in this event. After all, it wasn't like anyone who was sheepish would be getting involved, only people who were confident enough in their abilities.
"Ohhh, Millie, I'm just worried about you! Just remember, if you get hurt too bad all my investments into you will be shooooooot~" The blonde's voice called out in a singsong tone. "Speaking of, do try and keep that new outfit intact. It wasn't cheap, you know."
