A Hero and a Butterfly- Deku vs Cassandra

Already, Cassandra had found herself in a mixed match. Not that she minded.. she liked boys as much as she liked girls. Having been presented with her opponents profile, going into the last one blind.. she’d look at her green haired foe with a little smile, going over his matches.

“He’s.. kinda.. cute.”

He seemed nice. If not a bit dorky, as she’d shrug.. and he was her age! A slight surprise, she hadn’t exactly much time to make friends due to her rigorous training and switching parents for years, and particular this last year.. so while she was nervous, she was also sure this would be a fun match! Cassandra slowly got up, hearing the call to battle with her name being announced, the call echoing throughout the ring.

Cassie walked out into the ramp, dressed out in her Psyche outfit. No need to bring out the Dragoness, she just wanted some fun today! Waving to the crowd, Cassie gave them a loud whistle, waving both her arms excitedly. Sliding into the ring, she’d roll inside, her hands by her side as she’d lean back against the corner, basking in the glow of the crowd. More comfortable in wrestling competitively now, her head turning to the ramp and awaiting her opponent for today’s entrance..!

Deku rolled his shoulders as he hopped from foot to foot backstage preparing for his next match. Tonight he was against someone fairly new that was his age, and thankfully unlike his last match he actuallt had a physical advantage. But more importantly as he went over her previous matches and what was public of her history, she was actually pretty friendly! That alone was enough to get a sigh of relief from the green haired boy.

Wearing his usualy green tank top and wrestling pants Deku would stand up and put the file on Cassandra, or Cassie as she seemed to prefer being called away. She seemed to have a rather interesting gimmick going that correlated to her outfit and strategy, in this case she was butterfly themed with a swifter game plan in mind. So that would work well to his advantage. Walking up to the entrance ramp he nodded when to show he was ready before his entrance theme kicked on.

As soon as the lights turned green and began strobing Deku would come out and pose with a fist in the air and smile on his face. Jogging down the ramp he would high five a few fans on his way to the ring, hopping up the steps he’d walk across the apron and pose again. Grabbing the top rope he would vault over the ropes and into the ring with a smile on his face. Looking to his opponet he would give a friendly nod to her before going to his corner.

“Hello.. I’m Cassie..!”

She’d tilt her head, observing Deku walk towards the fans. High fiving them and he’d come towards the apron.. he wasn’t as big as she thought, but fairly taller than her short ass. Cassandra smiled just a bit, taking a couple steps towards Deku and holding out her hand for him to shake.

She’d tilt her head, taking him in. He actually wore a shirt, unlike most the male wrestlers that came in LAW. She was just happy that he seemed decent, and hopefully wouldn’t try doing anything.. too sexual.

“And you seem cute..! Let’s have a fun bout!”

As Deku entered the ring he would look across to his opponet Cassie, or was ot Psyche? Either or she seemed pretty nice with the smile she had on, especially sonce ot wasn’t the scary sadistic kind be saw worn by other women in this company.. shivering slightly at that though he fixed his attention on her once more as she greeted him rather warmly.

However the cute comment did generate a blush from Deku as he looked to the side while approaching her, one hand scratching the back of his head nervously. With the other however he reached out grabbing her hand and shaking it firmly. ”N-Nice to meet y-you. i hope we have a good match as well.” He said looking up to meet Cassie’s eyes halfway through his sentence, the confidence he accrued since joining LAW coming back full force after his momentary laspe in focus.

But now as he looked over his oppponet a bit closer he could tell this wouldn’t be a easy match. One look at her was enough to know that despite a height difference they we’re definitely mear the same in terms of muscle, with Cassie maybe even exceeding him in that regard. But that wouldn’t matter, after all pure strength wasn’t the only factor in matches. Putting his hands up after shaking hands with her Deku would nod respectfully as he took a few steps back and bent his knees, waiting for the bell to ring.

Cassandra took his hand in hers and smiled genuinely, shaking it. She’d think this would be pretty tough, but.. so was Cassie. She’d give him a slight nod of acknowledgement, before taking a couple steps back and brushing back her dyed hair. Cassandra leaned up against the ropes, completely prepared and ready to battle. She’d grin widely..

As the bell rang. She would take the initiative and begin the bout, her palms crashing against each other! Suddenly racing forwards, she’d leap upwards into the air, aiming to drop the heroic green haired boy with a drop kick, her lithe feet impacting against his torso to send him sprawling hopefully!

Deku smiled appreciatively as Cassandra, or Cassie accepted the handshake offer he extended and all seemed well between the two. Good. He definitely preferred this type of set up between opponets than… less than friendly, or also overly friendly opponets. In any case it wasn’t long before the bell rang, officially starting the match between the two young wrestlers.

Immediately Cassie darted out towards him, surprising the greenette with her speed as withing moments she was already up in the air. Recognizing her positioning as a drop kick Deku instinctively raised his arms up to guard, barely managing to do so in time as he was knocked backwards and off his feet from the blow. Luckily however, despite the pain in his arms Deku still had his wits about him. Pulling his legs back as he hit the mat Deku would throw them forward to kip back up to his feet, if he did so successfully Deku would spin on his heel and immediately try to send a retaliatory spin kick aimed at Cassandra!

The dropkick, while having landed.. made Cassandra drop. Not that it was a surprise, she had literally leapt off the mat to crash into Deku, and her own body slammed against the ground. A small groan escaped her lips, but she’d leap up in a similar fashion to Deku, but the greenette was faster than she!

Suddenly, a spin kick crashed against her jaw, causing her head to snap back.

Cassandra.. stumbled back, her hands suddenly going.. limp. Was that it? One hit knockout, a lucky blow to end the match..? It seemed so, as Cassandra began to fall forwards..

….

………

..but at the last moment, she’d swing her hands down, using her weight to drop into a cartwheel, slamming her legs into Deku, planning on dropping him with a deadly Cartwheel Kick!!

Deku groaned softly still from that initial dropkick Cassandra had hit him with. Even in spite of that however he was far from done, something he showed when he lashed out at her with a spin kick that would undoubtedly rock her! Spinning back to his feet following the connection he focused on his opponent again and.. blinked in confusion.

Did his kick work a little too well? It looked as if he had managed to knock her out with one shot. Blinking in shock from this he watched as it looked like she was about to face plant into the mat. Guard let down from the seemingly instant ko, Deku was left completely unprotected when she suddenly swung forward on her hands, leg coming down and foot impacting with his face!

"Aghhh!!!" He cried out in pain as her foot pushed his head to the side making him stumble back from the blow. Left hunched over from the blow his arms hung limp for a moment as some in the stands wandered if now Deku was unconscious from the lightweight's kick! However before anyone could be left to wonder for long Deku suddenly came back swinging literally as he torqued his body around to send a forearm chop right to Cassandra's chest!

The blow landed on Deku. It seemed like it had worked to the best affect, causing the wrestler to take some steps back if not out completely! Cassie swept herself up gracefully to her feet.. but..

Unfortunately for her, Deku was not down yet. Swinging around, his forearm crashed against her chest and caused her to let out a small “kyah~” of surprise! She’d widen her eyes, staggering back against the ropes, holding her chest..

.. before grinning. She’d race forwards, leaping upwards from the balls of her feet.. and driving her own arm forwards, shoving her forearm into his face roughly!

“Hiyah!”

[Bare]

So far as the bout between Deku and Cassie really started to get under way it was looking like a battle of strikes between the two young wrestlers. With each move came a successful strike that sent the other reeling, only for them to come right back with another strike and so on and so forth.

Case in point Deku sent Cassie stumbling back, only for her to come roaring back leaping into the air after him.

'No good. I can't let things continue like this.' Deku thought to himself while digging his feet into the mat and preparing himself, knowing that he would have to do something to break the stalemate of strikes between the two. As Cassie's arm came down Deku would take the blow head on, his face turning and spit flying from his mouth as a result of the impact.

...However unfortunately for Cassie her making impact is what Deku wanted! Hands snapping up and grasping Cassie's arm tightly by the wrist Deku would use the momentum created by Cassie's own forearm smash to turn and bring Cassie down to the mat with a hip toss. If successful than he would drop to his back and throw his legs up over Cassie's chest and pulling back for a cross arm bar!
