Another day, another match. Cal Walker was still new to the L.A.W. but he no longer felt he was walking with wet feet. Naturally such confidence was reflected in his body language alone, as once he dawned his mask the man was expressionless as can be. The stoic aura which seemed in stark contrast to his rumored "tendencies" as well as his companion Star who barked happily and adorably by his side as always. Today he was set to take on a woman named Nayla Ameera, a more "fun loving" type who was none the less quite skilled from what Cal could gather.

That only meant he could leave nothing to chance, and as he placed his animal-themed gloves and footwear, he finished tying up his cape as he was called to prepare for his entrance and as Star jumped into his arms the long-time West Coast pro would make his way to the gorilla position.

Cal's Theme

Standing on the entrance stage as Cal once more stood with a cool and almost cold gaze, the only life being the puppy in his arms as Star happily lapped on her partner's palms. Once more, fans especially those who had a fondness for cute took to her as Cal seemed to largely ignore the crowd though noted he had a bit of a louder reaction than upon his debut.

The pair made their way down the entrance ramp, and despite Cal not acknowledging the crowd even if he noted the improved reaction as they made it to the outside of the ring. Cal would set Star down who quickly dashed fast as her legs could around the ring to Cal's favorite corner once more, and Cal would leap from the outside to the ring apron before climbing through the middle ropes as he climbed a corner to strike a single fist in the air pose before he backflipped to land in the middle of the ring which seemed to impress a few fans.

Cal would make his way to his corner, checking outside and seeing Star there outside the ring as she barked in support while Cal would cross his arms over his chest upon removing his cape as he'd wait for his opponent to come.

Nayla Ameera had spent quite a while recovering from her injuries, but now she was cleared to return into the ring. She was eager to show it to everyone what she was made of, and tonight, she would be facing a male opponent named Cal Walker. Clad in her butterfly-theme two-piece wrestling outfit, Nayla waited for her cue to make her entrance.

When it was her turn to make her entrance, Nayla strutted down the ramp, swaying her hips and waving her hands to the crowd. She missed the feeling of being the center of attention, and now, she would be facing a male opponent in the ring. Soon, she reached the ring, and she climbed up the apron to enter it.

"Well, well... you brought a pet with you?" Nayla said, looking at the dog that Cal had brought with him. "How cute..." She giggled. She would wait for the match to begin, and as she waited, she would observe her opponent, wondering what he was capable of. For the time being, she had no idea what the man had in store for her in this match.

Cal stood with his arms folded over his chest as he watched his opponent make her entrance. In contrast to Cal's rather stoic and unfeeling persona, Nayla seemed to be all about showing off that energy if her moves to the ring were any indication. When asked about his pet outside the ring by his corner Cal did not so much as flinch.

"More than that, my trusted companion and partner. Beyond my wife and child, the most precious thing to me." Cal said with his tone not betraying his serious nature even as Star barked adorably at being called "cute" by the opponent.

When the bell rang, Cal worked to remove his cape as he laid it on the apron before he moved to his opponent. Seemed Cal wanted to see what his opponent could do as well, with his knees slightly bent and arms extended out, he seemed to invite her for a test of strength.

Nayla nodded and smiled as she listened to Cal's explanation about the dog. Well, for the time being, she would put the matter aside as she would focus on the match. Preparing herself, Nayla would get into position, and once the bell was sounded, she would take her stance, raising both her hands and bending her knees slightly as she would focus on the man before her.

She saw that Cal was inviting her for a test of strength, and she saw no reason to refuse. So, Nayla would surge forth, locking up with her opponent in the test of strength. Their bodies would end up pressing against one another as she would try to exert her strength in order to push against the man whom she was facing.

Cal would clasped his hands with Nayla, and soon enough both would begin a test of strength. Cal kept things simple and straight forward, as he aimed to try and push and exert his muscle against Nayla as he seemed confident in his strength and looked to extend a foot forward to push much as he could.

Star of course barked in support from outside the ring, as Cal worked to keep his feet steady while his mask betrayed no expression as he wondered what strength his opponent had.

Nayla could feel the push from Cal against her, and her boots skidded against the canvas as she was pushed back. Of course, she didn't plan to let herself roll over before her opponent, so she would plant her boots on the mat and pushed back, her muscles straining against the force of her opponent's push.

Little by little, she would be able to bring the two of them into a stalemate. The Lebanese smiled, thinking that this match would be an enjoyable one, considering how strong Cal was. As she kept her push, she would look into Cal's eyes, hoping to learn more what this man was capable of.

Behind the mask Nayla would see the look of true intensity, something that seemed cutely contrasted as his precious dog Star barked in support outside the ring. It was clear Cal was giving it his best as she had and while he was less emotional about it he was happy this woman seemed to match him early on.

He would be sure to give it what he could, tightening his grip and pushing as he pressed forward with all his might, trying to break the stalemate and put Nayla on her backfoot while he tried to remain strong in his stance.

Nayla was impressed by the strength her opponent was displaying, and she could tell that if this lock up continued, she would soon be overwhelmed. Sure enough, Cal slowly began to gain upper hand over her, and the Lebanese woman was slowly pushed back and was put on her backfoot. She knew that if this continued, her opponent would surely overwhelm her in no time.

Knowing that she had to stop what was inevitable, Nayla decided to unclasp one of her hands. Then, hoping to stun Cal while he was pushing against her, she would try to hit him with a forearm smash right at his chest, looking to leave him at least stunned so that she could follow up with a more devastating move afterwards.

Cal likewise had a bit of respect for Nayla as the woman proved to be a worthy foe in this early test of strength though he began to sense he was gaining the advantage in spite of Nayla's valiant stand. But it seemed that Cal's sole focus on this would leave him open and Nayla quickly took advantage of that.

Cal would find himself pushing air for a moment as Nayla broke the test of strength, and before he had a chance to recover Nayla struck with a stiff blow to his chest which caused Cal to grown and left him momentarily open.

The strike to her opponent's chest seemed to have left him stunned, and Nayla decided to keep up with her attacks. While Cal was reeling from the strike to his chest, Nayla would immediately rush to his side, looking to grab his right arm. Then, holding said arm by his wrist, Nayla would begin twisting it, looking to lock him into a wrist lock, which would immediately be transitioned into a hammerlock, where Nayla would get his arm right on his back, putting more pressure into his arm and shoulder.
