One Fall, to be won by pinfall or submission
Ishida sat in the locker room, towel slung over his neck, fresh out of the locker room and ready for his match. The young man was dressed as nondescriptly as possible, in a plain white singlet. If not for his physique, chiseled and buff, even if he was on the shorter side, there would be nothing to distinguish him from an amateur wrestler. None of the flash or style of a ‘serious’ professional wrestler, Ishida blended in with any number of other trainees or hopefuls but sat here waiting to burst out onto the world stage.

“Kid, you’re up!” said a girl in a tight-fitting suit, hugging a clipboard. She pointed him to the entrance ramp. Ishida stood, toweled off some nervous sweat from his brow, then rushed out of the entrance ramp. Throwing his arms up into the air, Ishida decided to show off his physique, the muscular body he’d worked hard to attain, and maybe that x-factor that would help make him a unique and standout pro wrestler! He looked to the fans and the bright arena lights and tried not to flinch. Posing on the ramp, the young man flexed, showing off every defined deltoid and glute, then made sure to look to the camera, to connect with the fans at home … only to see the lights off, and the camera crew chugging coffees or checking their phones.
Of course. The rookie was coming out during commercial break, or a video package. Ishida sucked it up, tried hard not to slump, and walked briskly down to the ring. Some fans clapped politely for the young lion, and he waved appreciatively. Stepping into the ring, Ishida made sure to wipe his boots politely on the ring apron and strode to the center of the ring. As he waited for his opponent, he saw the camera crew come back to life, the lights and music flare back up. Ishida watched the ramp, eagerly anticipating the grand entrance of his opponent!
