JJ vs. Deku: Intergender Match

Match Type: Standard

Janella Johnson... JJ for short was clad in her wrestling attire, a two piece purple and light blue set that had tassels hanging off the boots, sports bra and armbands to give it a retro flair. JJ was a fan of that era with all its pageantry so she was going to step out there, show off and bring it back to the wrestling ring! However, tonight she was wrestling a guy. She had never done that before and honestly hadn't ever really planned on it. If he wanted to get touchy, then she would just kick his ass around the ring even worse than she would otherwise.

As her music began to play she came out all smiles, pointing out at the fans as she had some spring in her step. JJ ran and slid underneath the bottom rope before bouncing up to her feet, parading around the ring and showing off her impressive figure before settling into the corner. She was eager to get rolling, and she was going to make her mark in LAW against anyone regardless of who it was!

Right now all she could do was wait for her opponent to arrive.

Deku breathed deeply backstage, trying to control the torrent of thoughts running through his head about tonight. It would be his first match here in LAW, he had no idea what to expect, his opponet was fairly new too so there was nothing to off of. No plans or tactics to run through, no specific variables to consider given his opponet. All he could do was run through every potential scenario for any and all ways his opponet could be like.

Eventually the green haired boy found himself lost in thoughts and found himself muttering constantly in a rather off putting way backstage. Several crew members and other wrestlers looked on with creeped out expressions before hurrying away. Finally one crew member finally sighed in exasperation as slapped the boy on the shoulder.

“Hey kid cut it out! You need to make your entrance!”

The man snapped with a fed up expression making Deku yelp in a mix of shock and fear as he jumped in place. ”O-o-o-oh! R-right s-sorry!” He yelped out as he quickly scrambled to the guerilla position. As he did the nervous wreck of a boy would frantically check his ring gear consistenting of a sleeveless green and black top, black bicep bands and fingerless gloves, a dark green pair of pants with a red belt and black knee high boots.

Finally as he got to his position the song he chose as his entrance music, Pride by Divide, began playing throughout tbe arena along with alternating green and black lights flashing through the stadium. Coming out he awkwardly posed for the crowd with a nervous smile and wave, illiciting a mixed reaction, some of which consisted of a few laughs at his expense. Gulping the literal ball of nervousness down he would run down the ramp, holding his hand out and highfiving fans as he came down. Leaping up and through the ropes Deku would land in a roll before kipping up to his feet in the middle of the ring. Looking over at his opponet he gave the slightly taller woman a nod of aknowledgement as he walked backwards against the corner, awkwardly waiting for the bell to ring and get things started.

JJ watched Deku come out, and she saw how absolutely nervous he looked. She felt like a lioness watching her prey come down to her! JJ stood tall, smiling and looking confident as she tensed up her body, puffing her chest out to try to subtly intimidate him and put even more doubt in his mind. "Listen I will be gentle, sort of. I am gonna kick your ass all over MY ring but I won't do any more than necessary but if you do yourself a favor and stay down once you figure out you can't win it makes things easier for both of us." JJ said with her hands on her hips as she approached the middle of the ring.

As the bell rang JJ waste no time at all in rushing right at Deku, leaping at him with her arm extended to kick things off with a running lariat! She wanted to send him crashing down hard to the mat and establish herself as the dominant wrestler from the very start.

Deki gulped as he stared down his opponet, trying to put on a brave and determined expression, but it came off as more of a awkward smile. ”Sorry.. But I can’t just let you win. I’m gonna try my best.” He said with a determined expression as be raised his fists up, his heart racing as he knew tne bell was close to ringing, his anticipation building up as a result. But as it rang and he saw his opponet charging towards him with her arm raised for a clothesline. Running forward he would duck down attmepting to avoid the move while dashing at tbe ropes behind them. Turning he would attempt to bounce off the ropes and launch himself at Jj’s back to try and jump up and hit a missilw drop kick to her back

JJ swung... and missed! She scowled and turned around at the wrong time. "You damned...oomph!" She groaned as she took the dropkick right to the chest! JJ hit the mat and slapped it in frustration with her open hand, sitting up and working her way back up to her feet as she wanted to make up for looking like a complete fool!

"Lucky dropkick kid..." She said, despite only being 19 herself. JJ lunged in this time attempting to tie up Deku with a grapple before trying to go low and hit him with a fireman carry toss to the mat.

Deku after managing to land that drop kick kipped back up to his feet immediately, showing a bit of athleticism that the crowd gave appreciation for with a loud pop. Meanwhile he was actually feeling rather good following that hit. Looking back over to his opponet who hit the mat he would put his fists up in preperation as she charged at him.

Moving forward as well Deku saw she was going for a lock up and instinctively raised his arms up, clasping hands witb Jj’s. Pushing against her Deku grunted realizing off the bat she was physically stronger than him. Not good, he needed a plan ne needed to think. What could he do, he could try to grt behind her and for a suplex, irish wha-”Whoa!” Befofe Deku could sort through the rest of his thoughts he found himself pulled forward and over her shoulders. “Gah!” He yelled out in shock as he landed with a grunt of pain on the mat backfirst.

JJ managed to strike back and she smiled as she reached down to grab hold of his arm. JJ pulled and placed her legs across his chest as she locked his arm between her legs, trying to apply an armbar to try to wrench on his arm. JJ was not a slouch in terms of submissions which was impressive given her relative lack of wrestling experience especially at this level. However she was enthusiastic, feeding off the crowd energy, and driven. Nothing was going to stop her tonight!

Deku groaned out as he tried to sit up following that throw, thoroughly rocked and somewhat stunned from the sudden action from his oppomet. However before he could do anything to try and get distance or launch a counter against his opponet she was already onto her next attack. Feeling his arm grabbed Deku’s eyes widened, instinctively knowing what she was doing as he was pulled down into the arm bar. Thinking quickly and somewhat desperately threw his other arm up grabbing his own hand to keep it from being pulled all the way down and thus limiting the pain he’d be feeling

JJ felt a bit disheartened when Deku quickly knew a way to counter the pain of the armbar limiting the effectiveness of the hold. JJ didn't want to waste her time so she let go and rolled backward, putting herself in position to quickly rise to her feet. She would move over to Deku as he got up, grabbing hold and slamming her knee into his abdomen as hard as she could to try to keep him under control as she tried to wrap an arm around his head to lift him up for a vertical suplex!

As Deku managed to grab the hand and keep the armbar from being locked to its full effectiveness he breathed a sigh of relief as he then struggled to keep hold of said hand. Thankfully his opponet wasn’t willing to waste any more time than she had too and quickly abandoned the hold. Sighing in relief he rolled away and tried to quickly scramble to his feet. ‘Crap! Crap! Crap!’ He thought to himself quickly scrambling to his feet, but even then his opponet was yet again on the move going to bury a knee into stomach making his eyes widen and gag in pain, some spit flying from his mouth in response. ”GUAH!” He gasped out before he was lifted up and into the air in position for a verticsl position making him widen his eyes in fear at the coming fall.
