Cracking his neck backstage in the guerilla position Finlay prepared himself for his second match in LAW. He had heard his opponet tonight was someone with a similar style to himself, hence why they had seemed to have been placed in a last one standing match. But he was confident that he could overcome her and make her stay down for the ten count.

Hearing his music Alchemy by Yates play the blonde New Zealander would step out of the entrance ramp and raise his fist to the crowd who cheered for the kiwi. Lowering his hand he would strut down the ramp and nod to the fans he had begun to accumulate after his first match in LAW. Making it to the ring he would walk across the ring apron before throwing a leg over and slipping through the ropes. Walking to a corner he would lean against a corner waiting for his opponet to come down

The thunderous march of Amaya's theme signaled the arrival of the ever serious, always hard-nosed competitor as Amaya entered the stage; gazing upon the capacity crowd around her with a scowl and those large eyebrows only added to the commanding presence as she moved with a confident step to her as she walked down the entrance ramp and wasted little time as she soon made her way to the steel steps and climbed into the ring from the middle rope.

Amaya entered the ring as she placed a sword, kept in its handle, in front of her and stared along the crowd before her intense gaze focused on Finlay and him along, she would move to her corner as she set the weapon aside as she turned to focus on the man as the referee checked if both were ready before the bell would be rung.

As Finlay heard the commanding tune of his opponet’s theme music Finlay didn’t find himself impressed or intimidated. Instead he merely looked up at the ramp to get a good look at his opponet. She was on the shorter side, to him at least and looked more like she should be in a beauty pageant or running a business meeting. However, Finlay knew not to judge a book by its cover. As he watched her make her entrance he saw the proud way she carried herself and detached stoicism that eminated she was ready for anything. He knew it because he himself exuded the same attitude when he made his own entrance.

Then as she made her way into the ring he confirmed what he was beginning to think as she locked eyes with him. Yeah those eyes were indeed the ones of someone who had one goal and one goal only in mind and they’d do whatever it took to win it. It was a look he recognized whenever he looked into the mirror. As the two waited for the bell he would break the stiff silence between them since her music died out.

“I won’t insult you by spouting cliches or pointless trash talk, but know I’m gonna do whatever it takes to win.” He said bluntly making it clear how he wanted this match to go and how he was gonna go about thinking about this bout.

Amaya watched her opponent, who thankfully in a rare twist from her opponents to now didn't seem to be this over the top personality or was quick to try and engage in some verbal war of words. Rather refreshingly he seemed to be a man short on words but clear on intent as Amaya nodded taking respect for his approach.

"I admire the resolve, I will claim victory so be prepared for I will hold nothing back." Amaya said just as simply as she had prepped in her corner and waited for the referee to sound the bell and soon enough the battle of wills began as the official called for the bell not long after.

Seeing his opponet seemed to be a kindred spirit of sorts, he nodded in respect for her own steely resolve and straight forward attitude. “If you’d do anything less I’d be furious. So hit me with your best shot.” He said with a determined expression as the bell ringed. The moment the hight pitched metallic clang rang out the blonde wrestler would shoot forward. Dashing at his opponet with full speed he would raise his right arm up while pivoting on his right heel to try aiming a downwards arm smash to her chest.

Indeed Amaya seemed prepared to give her best, and was sharp and ready as she saw Finlay run the ropes as he went for an arm smash which was targeted for his first offensive. Amaya aimed to roll to the side to try and avoid the strike, and if she managed to do so would charge and tried to strike back with a blow of her own going for a running dropkick.

As Finlay descended through the air towards his opponet he saw her spin to the side away from him. Turning in midair as best as he could he would brace himself while pulling his arm up. By the time he landed he managed to have a guard ready just in the nick of time as Amaya’s feet smashed into it. Gritting his teeth as he skidded a few feet back Finlay had to admit her shapely legs packed a lot of power in them. Shaking his head Finlay would dash forward and with his opponet on the ground he would jump up attempting to come crashing down feet first on her chest while she was still on her back.

Amaya wanted to try and recover quickly before Finlay had a chance to strike, especially given that it seemed he was quick to block her blow to cushion the impact. But before she could work her way to her feet her equally determined foe was on the attack and he aimed to drive a fist right to her chest as Amaya only had time to form a guard raising her arms in an "X" pattern as the fist connected with that.

If Amaya could succeed in blocking the blow, she'd try to grab at Finlay's arm an attempt to apply a counter armbar.

As Finlay descended through the air he saw his opponet bring her arms up in a similar speed of blocking as himself. Crashing his fist into her blocked arms Finlay cursed and wanted to go onto his next move but unfortunately she had already been on that as she managed to grab his arm and lock in a arm bar. “Grr.” He grunted in pain and reached up in an attempt to grab his hand in an attempt to at least lessen the pain of the submission.

He would manage to grab his hand, but Amaya was tenacious as she twisted and pulled aggressively as she could eager to wear down the arm much as she could or even better try to break the wrist lock to do more damage. She would rock her body and attempt to pull Finlay down to the mat so she'd have greater leverage to do more damage with the submission hold.
