Blake vs. Sunset Shark

Blake

Blake stood at the top of the entrance ramp, basking in the boos and jeers from the crowd. It didn’t bother him...if anything, it fueled him. The opening beats of "The Champ is Here" by Jadakiss blasted through the arena, and with every step, Blake could feel the weight of the spotlight on him.
Spoiler
He thrived on it. His smirk grew wider as he strutted down the ramp, flexing his muscles and brushing his hand through his slicked-red hair, letting the fans know who the real star was.

As he made his way to the ring, he spotted two fans wearing Sunset Sharks merchandise, holding signs supporting the tag team. Blake paused for a moment, sneering at them and mouthing,

“Losers,” before continuing his walk to the ring. He loved moments like these—moments where he could remind everyone exactly who was in charge.

He had made sure of that earlier. Backstage, he’d overheard Klaus and Finn, the so-called Sunset Sharks, talking about their big tag team aspirations. They were nobodies in Blake’s eyes, but they talked like they were ready to take over the division. That’s when Blake decided to step in.

"Tag teams? Overrated. A couple of chumps like you couldn’t last five minutes against me!" Blake had just laughed. These two were nothing more than stepping stones. That’s when he challenged them both to a match. Not a fair tag team bout—no, Blake didn’t need a partner. He was more than enough to handle both of them on his own.

Now, as he stepped into the ring, Blake leaned against the ropes, completely at ease.

"They can strategize all they want, but once they step in here, it’s over. They’re outclassed, plain and simple." As the crowd cheered for the Sharks, Blake soaked in the boos. These fans didn’t know what they wanted. Sure, they cheered for Klaus amd Finn now, but once Blake had them tapping out or eating the mat, they’d be in awe of his skill, just like everyone else.

“Introducing first, standing in at 6’1” and weighing 248 pounds… he is the self-proclaimed ‘Pretty Boy’... Blaaake Covington!”

Blake grinned as the boos grew louder, raising his arms and flexing his muscles for the crowd. He climbed the turnbuckle, making a grand show of pointing at himself before mockingly blowing kisses to the female fans in the front row. They could boo all they wanted—he knew they loved him deep down. Who could resist?

"Damn. They really don't like this guy, eh?" Klaus muttered, glancing over at his brother as they stood by the curtain, doing their pre-match stretches. Finn was casually bent over, touching his toes, his blonde hair hanging loosely as he stretched out his hamstrings, while Klaus was doing some deep lunges, loosening up his legs. The boos and jeers aimed at their opponent were already echoing through the arena, and they couldn't really blame the crowd - Blake was a real piece of work.

The challenge had come out of nowhere while they were just chilling backstage. Blake swaggered in, running his mouth and throwing out insults, before suddenly challenging both brothers to a match. They had agreed, of course. The guy needed a reality check, and who better to deliver it than a couple of rather handsome surfers-turned-pro wrestlers?

"No surprises there. That guy's a proper dickhead." Finn straightened up, shaking his head. "You saw the way he looked at us backstage? And he's goin' around callin’ himself 'Pretty Boy.' Bloody hell!" A small chuckle escaped Klaus' at Finn's comment, unable to hold it in. The red-haired man's theme song was already dying down, signaling that their entrance was coming up next.

"Shall we go put 'Pretty Boy' in his place, then?" Klaus said, and Finn grinned back at him, nodding excitedly as the two made their way to the curtain and their entrance music blasted through the speakers a moment later.

"And his opponents, at a combined weight of 325 pounds... all the way from Australia… the surfin', slammin', wave-crashin'SUNSET SHARKS!"

The brothers then burst out from behind the curtain, arms raised high with wide, confident smiles on their faces. The crowd greeted them with cheers - some long-time fans from their surfer days, others just eager to see Blake get what was coming to him. Both brothers were in their trademark swim trunks, Klaus in dark blue, Finn in a lighter shade, their bare, exposed chests gleaming under the arena lights.

As they made their way down the ramp, they slapped hands with a few fans along the barricade, but their eyes were locked on Blake, standing in the ring like he'd already won. That smug grin of his was gonna disappear real quick once they got in there.

Reaching the steel steps, Klaus and Finn climbed up in unison, standing on the apron for a moment as they raised their arms one more time to the crowd before stepping through the ropes and proceeding to move to their corner, eager to get the match started. "Hope the ambos are on standby, mate! 'Cause The Sharks are comin’ to give ya a wallopin’!" Finn taunted, pointing at Blake with a smirk while the referee joined them in the squared circle and stepped into the middle of the ring, ready to signal for the bell!

Blake sneered from his corner, watching the Sunset Sharks make their grand entrance. The fans were eating it up—the cheers, the high-fives, the whole "surfer-brother" gimmick. Blake couldn't stand it. He leaned lazily against the turnbuckle, barely acknowledging their flashy entrance. He knew exactly what they were thinking. Two young, good-looking, fan-favorite brothers were about to teach him a lesson. But Blake was already a step ahead.

As Finn taunted him, Blake’s smirk widened. He strutted to the center of the ring with his usual cocky swagger, clapping slowly and sarcastically.

"Oh, look at this, folks! We’ve got ourselves a couple of Baywatch extras. Cute trunks, boys. You get those at a clearance sale? Or did you use your lunch money?"

The crowd erupted in boos as Blake continued to run his mouth. "Oi, mate! Gonna teach me a real lesson, are ya?" Blake mocked their Australian accents, puffing out his chest and laughing. Then, with a sudden, arrogant shove, he pushed both Finn and Klaus in the chest, sending them stumbling back a few steps.

The referee quickly intervened, separating the wrestlers, but Blake was already turning to the crowd, spreading his arms wide as if to bask in their hatred.

"Come on! You think these beach bums are taking me down? Let’s get real!"

The bell rang, and Blake immediately raised his arms, challenging both brothers to come at him. He knew he was up against two opponents, but he was confident, cocky, and unfazed. He beckoned them with both hands, taunting them to attack, daring them to prove him wrong. His mind raced with strategy—he needed to be sharp. A handicap match was tough, but Blake thrived on the challenge. And in his mind, this would be no different than any other night. He’d come out on top, as always.

Blake was definitely an asshole, but at least he had the size to back it up. Towering over both Finn and Klaus, he outweighed Finn by almost 100 pounds, making him a serious threat in a one-on-one situation. But fortunately for the Sunset Sharks, this wasn't a singles or regular tag match - it was a tornado handicap match. Both Sharks were legal at all times, meaning Blake was in for a much rougher ride - his size advantage probably didn't count for as much with two brothers coming at him at once.

The canvas beneath them trembled slightly with each heavy step the red-haired male took as he moved toward the center of the ring. The brothers stood confidently in place, hands on their hips, almost like lifeguards surveying the beach. Blake's taunts about their swim trunks echoed through the ring, but instead of getting mad, Finn flashed him an oddly friendly grin.

"Wait, you like 'em?! Nah, these are from our sponsors, mate! Figured we could rock 'em in the ring!" he replied, sounding way too excited as he tugged on the waistband of his trunks, as if the man was actually complimenting them.

Klaus just shot him a side-eye and quickly elbowed him in the ribs. "What?! No, Finn, he's tauntin' you, man!" he muttered under his breath. However, before Finn could snap out of it, Blake suddenly shoved both brothers hard, sending them stumbling backward. They barely regained their balance, ready to charge back at him, when the referee stepped in, positioning himself between the three of them to keep things under control. The tension hung in the air until, finally, the ref signaled for the bell.

"You're done, dude!" he yelled, dropping into a stance alongside Klaus as Blake beckoned them forward, challenging them to go for the first move. The brothers exchanged a quick glance, communicating without words, and nodded. It was go time.

In perfect sync, they suddenly lunged at Blake, arms stretched out wide as they let out a yell - a battle cry of sorts - as they rushed toward him. With all their momentum behind them, the Sunset Sharks aimed for a double clothesline, hoping to take Blake down fast and hard to start off the match!

Blake grinned as the Sunset Sharks charged at him with full momentum, aiming to land a double clothesline. But the moment they closed in, he ducked, causing both brothers to stumble forward as they missed the hit. Before they could react, Blake rebounded off the ropes and hit them with a double shoulder block, sending both Finn and Klaus crashing down to the mat.

The crowd roared in surprise as Blake stood tall, flexing his muscles with a smug expression. But he wasn’t done. Without hesitation, Blake ran toward the ropes again, bouncing off with impressive speed for his size. As Finn tried to get back up, Blake barreled toward him and hit him with another shoulder block, knocking the blonde surfer flat on his back.

Blake smirked, looking over at Klaus, who had just started to push himself up on his hands and knees. Without missing a beat, Blake ran to the opposite ropes, building momentum once again. As Klaus rose to his feet, Blake stormed toward him and delivered a third running shoulder block, sending Klaus crashing to the mat once more.

Blake stood in the center of the ring, towering over the two brothers, who were now sprawled out on the canvas. He raised his arms, gesturing to the crowd as if to say, "This is what you wanted?" The boos from the fans echoed through the arena, but Blake just soaked it in, loving every second of his early dominance!

Their plan was simple: take Blake down and keep him down for as long as possible. With the numbers on their side, Finn and Klaus figured this wouldn't be too difficult. After all, their opponent was outnumbered, and if they managed to land that double clothesline, Blake's night would be over. It would've been less embarrassing for the red-haired brute if he just threw in the towel then and there, but that wasn't what the crowd came to see. They came to watch some arrogant "Pretty Boy" get his ass handed to him by the Sunset Sharks.

But... Blake had other ideas.

Just as Finn and Klaus lunged in for the double clothesline, their opponent ducked at the last possible second, causing the brothers to stumble forward, thrown off by their own momentum. The crowd gasped in surprise, and the Sharks were just as caught off guard. They turned around just to see Blake barreling toward them, moving with surprising speed for a man his size before his shoulder collided with each of theirs in a powerful shoulder block!

"Oof!" The brothers yelped in unison as they hit the mat with a thud, their combined weight making the whole ring shake beneath them! A bit dazed, they lay there for a moment, trying to process what had just happened. Finn, always the quick one to bounce back, was the first to stir, pushing himself up to his feet - he really didn't want to stay grounded against someone like Blake - but just as he was about to fully stand, Blake came charging again, slamming his shoulder into the blonde's chest and sending him crashing back to the mat with another hard thud!

Meanwhile, Klaus had managed to get to his feet, the ring still trembling beneath him. He hoped Finn had recovered and was giving Blake some trouble... but no such luck. As soon as Klaus was upright, the bigger male came at him with another brutal shoulder block, knocking the older brother down just as easily. A grunt escaped Klaus as he hit the mat once again, pain shooting through his body.

The match had barely started, but both brothers already found themselves sprawled out on the canvas, struggling to regain their bearings. The force of their opponent's shoulder blocks left them slightly dizzy and writhing, while the crowd, now showering Blake with loud boos, watched the arrogant man bask in the heat, clearly enjoying every second of it.

Blake towered over the fallen Sunset Sharks, smirking at the boos from the crowd. Their plan had fallen apart in an instant, and he knew he had the upper hand. But he wasn’t about to give them time to recover. He turned his attention to Finn, who should be trying to roll over and get back to his feet. Blake cracked his neck and marched toward him with purpose.

As Finn struggled to his feet, Blake wasted no time. He wrapped his massive arms around Finn’s waist, easily lifting him off the ground. In one fluid motion, Blake hoisted him into the air and delivered a spinning sit-out powerbomb, slamming Finn back-first into the canvas! The impact echoed through the arena, and the crowd gasped...

"What happened, beach boy? Too rough for ya?"

Blake stood up slowly, glaring at Finn’s downed form before turning his focus to Klaus. Blake casually walked over, his confidence unshaken. As soon as Klaus was up, Blake wrapped his arms around his waist as well, showing no hesitation. In an impressive display of power, he executed a spinning back suplex, lifting Klaus off the mat and slamming him down with brutal force!

Blake immediately got to his feet, raising his hands arrogantly to the crowd. The boos poured in louder, but Blake fed off the hatred,

"Is this really the best you’ve got? Pathetic!"

Things definitely didn't start off according to plan, but this was just the beginning. They had to give credit where it was due, Blake did get them good with those shoulder blocks, but it wasn't like the Sunset Sharks couldn't come back from it. Finn was even already working his way back up, determined to keep the fight going, but the crowd seemed to know trouble was brewing.

"Watch out! Watch out! Watch out!" The warning rang out in unison as Blake started moving toward Finn, but the blonde was still halfway to his feet, didn't have time to react before Blake's muscular arms wrapped tightly around his midsection. In one swift motion, he was hoisted up and flipped over his opponent's shoulders. His stomach lurched from the sudden elevation, and within seconds, he found himself perched on Blake's shoulders, legs dangling helplessly down the big man's back.

His wide, blue eyes scanned the crowd in total horror, knowing what was coming next as Blake gave him no time to brace for impact before suddenly bringing the surfer down with a sit-out powerbomb! The ring trembled and Finn's body bounced off the mat upon impact before sprawling out in front of Blake. His arms and legs lay limp, spread out across the canvas as he stared blankly up at the arena lights, his face twisted in a grimace of pain.

As that unfolded, Klaus, feeling the tremors from the powerbomb beneath his feet, knew that wasn't a good sign. He scrambled to his feet, looking around for Blake, but it was too late. The bigger male was already behind him, wrapping his strong arms around his torso. With almost no effort, the red-haired brute proceeded to lift Klaus into the air, suspending him for brief moment before slamming him down with a back suplex!

"Ugh!" A pained grunt escaped his lips as he hit the mat hard, his body arching in agony. Rolling onto his side, he reached for his aching back, legs kicking out against the canvas as he writhed. The pain surged through him, and the sound of the crowd's boos echoed louder than anything else. Blake, on the other hand, seemed completely unfazed by the chorus of boos. If anything, he looked like he thrived off the heat, soaking in the crowd's hatred like it was fuel for his next move!

Blake stood tall, surveying the wreckage he'd left on the mat. Finn lay sprawled out in front of him, barely moving after the devastating powerbomb, and Klaus wasn’t faring any better, writhing in pain from the brutal back suplex. The crowd continued to shower Blake with boos, but he simply smirked, flexing his arms again for everyone to see, thriving off their disdain.

"You wanted a fight? Looks like I’m the only one showing up!"

The fans continued to jeer, but Blake ignored them as he set his sights back on Finn, who was still on the canvas. A cruel grin spread across Blake’s face. He reached down, grabbing Finn’s ankle, and effortlessly dragged him to the center of the ring, away from any chance of escape.

"Oh no, you're not going anywhere, little fish." With a swift motion, Blake dropped down and wrapped his arms around Finn's neck and chin, locking in a STF submission hold. The crowd erupted in a mix of shock and boos, knowing how deadly this move could be in the hands of someone with Blake’s strength!

Meanwhile, the red headed bully would pay no attention to Klaus as his focus was on trying to torture Finn as much as possible, leaving his back exposed.

Finn and Klaus could hear Blake's taunts, but right now, they were in too much pain to respond. Every move the man hit felt effortless, like the brothers weighed nothing to him as he had easily lifted them for the powerbomb and suplex.

The results were brutal, just like he probably expected. Both Sunset Sharks lay sprawled on the mat, writhing from the impact, while their opponent stood over them, flexing those massive arms for the crowd and taunting his opponents. His focus then shifted back to Finn, who had just rolled onto his stomach in an attempt to crawl away, and he quickly stalked over, cutting off any chance of escape.

The surfer barely made it an inch before he felt Blake grab his ankle, dragging him back to the center of the ring. A small yelp escaped his lips, and panic set in once the bigger male's weight pressed down on his back before locking in a vicious STF hold! An instant cry of pain burst from Finn's lips as his spine twisted, and Blake's thick wrist clamped around his throat, cutting off his air at the same time. The blonde thrashed under the hold, his hands instinctively gripping Blake's wrist, trying to pry it off as the pressure intensified, his face contorting in agony.

Upon hearing his brother's cries, Klaus pushed himself up, ignoring the pain still pulsing through his body - he knew he couldn't wait a moment longer. Stumbling over to Blake, he raised his leg and attempted to deliver a hard stomp to the man's back, hoping the impact would be enough to force him to release the grip on his brother.
