Curiosity can't kill her- Gryff and Kat!

*With a haggard yawn and a light bout of stretching, Gryff pointed his fingers towards the ceiling and unleashed a faint* "Finally~" *As the last straggler exited through the double doors of The Gem's Haven. He had clocked in almost an entire hour of overtime, not as if he was counting mind you, and could finally enjoy a fleeting moment of placidity and relaxation. Still clad in his signature Cobalt and obsidian ensemble, his body was visibly worn from the daily routine of instructing his students on the finer aspects of the wrestling arts- From hip tosses to lariats, and everything in between Gryff wouldn't hesitate to delve into even the most intricate move he was acquainted with, as long as his fledgling pupils walked away with more than they originally entered with. Pondering on what he'd stuff his face with before calling it an early night, Gryff sauntered towards the kitchen with an eager grin beginning to emerge- Perhaps Jess was benevolent enough to leave him some of her succulent steaks? Time to find out!*

"Damn it." *His disappointed sigh was proof enough that his prayer had gone unanswered, he would have to settle for whatever was lurking near the end of the back, which fortuitously enough, was just as filling as his initial desire.* "Well, I'm sure Kieda won't mind if I scoff down her leftover casserole~" *He nefariously cackled, scooping it out with an oversized spoon and plopping it down against a nearby plate, the satisfying* "Thrrrk!" *It made upon contact causing his mouth to water.* "I haven't eaten all day- Man, this is going to be so good!" *He excitedly exclaimed, tapping a few buttons on the overhead microwave before tossing the delicacy in.*

"She's always a riot, that Moa! Hahaha!" Kat Hart pushed open the double doors of this area of Gem's Haven. Clad in her usual wrestling attire, the same attire she had worn when she last faced the Hulking Hawaiian, she found it only fitting that she be one of the first to visit when she had heard that Mauna Loa was back at it, training in her gym of choice alongside the wonderful staff at The Haven.

Katherine Hart

"She was just as boisterous as ever! I swear, she'd have snapped me in half if I let her hug me any longer!" The Super Kitty would gesture and place both hands on the small of her back as she walked forward aimlessly. She didn't realize that she was heading toward the kitchen area. Subconsciously, the smell of food guided her. It was a little-known fact that Hart was very food motivated. It was apparent that she had initially visited the esteemed gym with the intention of checking in on her old rival. The occasion seemed to have already wrapped up, as evidenced by her lingering back pain!

The legendary luchadora wandered into the kitchen and heard the beeps of the microwave. She eyed the man tapping the buttons curiously, but she eyed the contents of the microwave even harder!

"Hey, kid!" She pointed to the microwave.

"Whatever that is, it smells great.....! You gonna finish it?"

*Besides himself, the gym was ubiquitously silent- Almost eerily so, which lingered in the back of his mind while watching the tray of food circle around and around, until finally, he heard a jovial voice emanating from the front of the mammoth gym.* "Huh? Who on earth...!?!" *Initially lost in a mental thicket due to his rampant hunger, Comet instantaneously recognized who was in his midst- The one who felled the giantess Moa and lived to tell the tale, Katherine Hart! He would have been stunned into silence if he wasn't so famished, eventually forcing himself to conjure up a coherent response to her inquiry.*

"I...I intended to yeah..but...hmhm..." *A tentative yet brazen grin stretched across his face, glancing over his shoulder towards the vacant arena, then back towards the boisterous woman.* "You and me, one round- You beat me, it's all yours. However, if the opposite somehow happens, you owe me a full course meal, dessert included~" *He dangled the prospect in front of her like a cat toy, incorporating a bit of mockery in his cadence.*

Having worked up an appetite in a short time, herself, Kat was keen on the idea of getting in on gym-goer's meal. She couldn't quite make out what it was, but whatever fish it may be, it seemed homemade. It certainly smelled delicious! And Gryff, himself didn't look too bad, either.

The luchadora's eyebrows and eyes perked up when the boy so readily answered her, seemingly leaping at the chance to spar with The Super Kitty! The blonde assessed the situation immediately. She placed both hands on her hips before placing a hand on the counter in the kitchen and leaning against it. Her gear flattered her muscle tone and her curves as she went on to consider Gryff's request.

"That was quick. Decisive. I like it when people know what they want. But you look famished, too, don't you? And that dish doesn't look like takeout. If I win, we share. Maaaaybe we get dessert later. We'll see." Hart would extend her hand to the man. She attempted to steer the conversation towards formal introductions.

"But don't think I'll go easy on you. You're about to find out that Kat Hart takes her food super seriously. Do we have a deal, Mister....?"

"Comet~" *His single, lone word that ventured out of his mouth was a testament to himself on multiple levels- It was curt, yet powerful, holding a certain degree of self-respect while maintaining the flow of banter they seemed to organically share.* "I'm already well aware of who you are- You're considered a legend within this gym, Mrs. Hart. If I can speak candidly, part of me wanted to take you down because it'd be like felling a goddess, but since you're so keen on stealing what's rightfully mine, I'll do it just to keep you famished for more~"

*With his boyish charm abundant and beaming from almost every pore, he bounded towards the ring, allowing his cake to clap before reaching the apron and slipping under the bottom rope. Once inside, he'd swing himself around in a superfluous display of acrobatics, landing on his outstretched knee before pointing his finger towards the sky.*

Without missing a beat, the gentlemen answered Kat. Her reputation preceded her, and perhaps even better, it made Gryff want to take her down!

"Haha! You flatter me, Comet!" Kat bellowed with laughter after hearing the man out and seeing him make for the closest ring to this little kitchenette area in the gym.

Kat would slowly follow. As she climbed onto the apron and ducked her way through the ropes, the luchadora continued.

"I'd never steal. If I'm going to live up to the idea you have of me in your head- if I'm going to be a good "goddess" then I should at least earn my keep and see to it that we both eat."

Kat would take the corner furthest from her sparring partner and use the ropes to begin stretching her legs, lifting one of them onto the top rope. Slowly, she'd turn toward the excited man, who seemed to sport a dynamic and high-flying wrestling background.

Kat Hart

"Ready when you are. Make sure you burn bright, okay hun?" Hart would wink as she approached slowly. Her hands were raised in anticipation of a lockup as she circled the ring with him!

*After finishing his routine entrance theatrics, Comet began to calm down just a tad as Kat seemed to eagerly indulge his banter, the both of them establishing a playful competitiveness before the match began.* "At the very least, you deserve a bite of my leftovers based on your reputation alone~" *His snarky tone was quickly challenged by her casual, isometric stretching- Her sleek thigh, slightly glistening with perspiration was enough to cause his body to tremble for a brief moment before snapping out of his entranced state.*

"So long as you stoke the coals, I'll be a pyre that any woman would desire~" *Spinning on the balls of his feet, he approached the center of the arena with a spring in his step and a smile plastered across his face, stretching his hands outward before clamping down against her shoulders.* "Let's see what those legendary muscles of yours can do!" *Digging his boots in, Comet began pressing into his grip for an initial test of strength!*

The Super Kitty cracked a smile when she noticed Gryff's trance. The man was captivated, and who could blame him? Kat was happy enough to play along. She had come all this way to their gym to check in on Moa, but it seemed the haven was home to more than a few colorful characters.

"Ahhh, Comet, hehe~" The masked woman chuckled.

"Flattery won't get you everywhere, but it'll certainly get your foot in the door." Hart would say as she stepped forward and met the blue-clad fighter in the middle of the ring.

She mirrored Comet's stance. Kat would crouch down and extend both arms. Her chiseled, curvy figure would loom over Gryff's as she placed her gloved palms on his tanned shoulders. She returned his smile with a confident one of her own. Her blonde hair flowed in the breeze within the gym during the moment of silence just before either competitor began pushing. But with a glint in her eyes, and assuredness that she had the upper hand, Kat would abruptly charge forward with gusto!

"Hngh!" A slight grunt of effort left her lips as she went from zero to a hundred at the drop of a hat!

If Kat managed to surprise her sparring partner, she'd force him quite a ways back, all the way into the furthest corner of the ring! Kat would meet each push and charge from Gryff with a greater one of her own! If she managed to get him in the corner, she'd slowly back off and give him a clean break the way a standard match did with rope breaks. And after breaking contact, she'd wind up a massive knife-edge chop, targeting the boy's chest and likely leaving him winded if it connected!

"You can do plenty of things with just a single, well placed foot Kat~" *As their bantering began to escalate, Comet's sixth sense began to detect something was out of the ordinary- His stance was solid, his arms were tight and braced for the imminent impact, but the second the lavender lynx escaped his grasp he was unable to prevent the debilitating slice across his unprotected chest!* "Guuuaaaah!" *He unleashed a primordial scream, something he never thought he was capable of, before sending him towards the opposite set of ropes. He had heard numerous anecdotes of her unimaginable power, but having it leave a souvenir against his chest was something entirely different!*

"A..alright...you're stronger than I gave you credit for, but raw power can only take you so far!" *He shouted his axiom as a means of carrying his banner of masculine pride, waving it high above the lingering mortification that was weighing him down.* "And we're just getting started!" *His lightning quick charge suddenly transformed into a lunge, his body sliding sideways to try and slam across Kat's sternum for a flying crossbody to topple this tenacious foe with one of his personal faves!*

Kat did enjoy the banter, but she was very willing to back up each and every word! The Super Kitty tore into Comet with a stiff chop to the chest! She watched her handiwork with a look of intrigue as Gryff staggered away.

"Not bad, mister Man. I usually floor Young Lions and Lionesses with that one." She remarked on the blue-clad boy's tenacity and toughness.

From this exchange alone, the beautiful, buxom, brawny blonde could tell that Comet was a much better wrestler than he let on. He was the sort that was easy to underestimate. But the likes of Kat Hart wasn't about to be lulled into a false sense of security!

"Oh yeah?" The luchadora raised an eyebrow upon hearing her sparring partner's mantra. Certainly, there was more to a good fight than power, but Hart was intrigued to see what more Gryff would bring to the table here. And she'd soon find out when Comet abruptly lunged at her with surprising quickness!

"Ah!" Kat exclaimed! She was caught off guard by just how fast the man was! It seemed he didn't call himself Comet for nothing!

Kat was taken aback by the Crossbody! She staggered back a good three or four steps! But in much the same way that Comet lived up to his namesakes, The Super Kitty earned the moniker of "Super" for good reason!

The tag team champ grit her teeth! She slipped one hand under Gryff's shoulder and the other between his legs! It took visible effort, but she managed to steady herself while carrying Gryff in toe, keeping him perpendicular to herself! She'd look down to make to make eye contact for just a second to wink at him before abruptly dropping down and taking a knee! Kat would look to counter his Crossbody into an Over The Knee Backbreaker!

Should the move connect, Kat would be targeting the small of his back by keeping Gryff bent backward over her knee! The luchadora would press her gloved palm against his chin to keep him there in a submission hold! With her free arm, she'd place her elbow on the man's navel. She'd hold her own masked face in her hand and smile down at Comet.

"You know, we are just getting started and all that. But if you tap now, we can make it a best of three. I can tell that you wanna keep going just as much as I wanna help myself to your casserole. I can still smell it from here, you know, haha."
