Geun Haru vs Senji Takijima

As she impacted the ground, Geun grunted audibly, it seemed like it worked, as her legs loosened up for a second and so did her legs. But she half expected that and was ready to take the impact. Soon her legs would slide in between his to get the hooks, she also followed him by sitting up but instead of trying to really the RNC, she went for a different choke. Moving from his left she drew her arm across his neck and pulled back so that it was resting under his armpit, then her hand moved behind his back to lock in with the other one that would slip under his armpit to limit the movement. This was sort of a cross between a more pro wrestling move, a dragon sleeper, and a more traditional guillotine. Of course, it wasn't like the slam did nothing, it was more a case of Geun being relentless and not willing to give up on the control she had mixed with how used she was to receiving far more brutal attacks and having to keep going.

These rules definitely neutered him. However, he was fine with them as they were. Senji was able to make her struggle this far, yet Haru was unforgiving for the final match point. Senji went for his other move when the slam made him make a disgruntled noise. It wasn't as though he landed on something extremely soft. Senji had been forced now to stare up at the ceiling along with the contours of her back muscles. A strangled breath came in and out. Senji's hands came fast toward Haru's left leg and stretched out to reach the shin or ankle if he could get far enough. Anyone could see that Senji wasn't able to perform a curl easily and reach the legs in a better way. If he was able to grab ahold of it, then Senji's now reddened face developed a bit of a delight compared to his neutral expression. The submission specialist would probably then be faced with her hook being peeled and then thrown off to the side. If she tried to reestablish hooks on that side, Senji's leg shifted to the right as he tried to lean over to the side a little but stop himself from going all the way by planting his right elbow on the ground.

All she needed was a few more seconds, struggling for that hook would not get her there but as it was lifted out she would oppose it being thrown, instead passing it across Senji's body and locking it under her other leg as she pulled it out as well to wrap his torso. For this choke, it was a better position anyway as it allowed to put more tension on his neck by contracting on his body. Now she would also pull back to the mat as to make it harder for him to use his free legs before the last final seconds would tick by.

Frantic negativities and denials came from his onward thoughts. He could feel his vision starting to darken. One more. One more. Senji's legs were free now that she chose to wrap them instead. Now, Senji wasted a second to see which heel was pressing against his middle via touch. After doing that, his right or left leg came up depending on which foot Haru had crossed on top of the other. He stretched...and stretched it. It was getting more difficult to stay conscious. He gave a final burst of energy regardless! Senji would not take this notion lying down. Well, he technically was but that wasn't important at the moment. Whichever leg found itself on top of Haru's foot, he'd then command it to go down and bend her ankle over her own bottommost foot by way of a chain reaction. That'd cause painful tension to make Geun submit, in his mind, otherwise he'd keep torquing and torquing in a desperate, aggressive fight to keep from falling into a sunken darkness.

Geun grunted in pain but only tightened her grip. Her leg could last, long enough at least for Senji to pass out as he did not seem willing to tap. Still, her breath grew sharper as she struggled through the pain, she had her bones broken fire in fights and still won some of them, sure, if her bone gave the fight would be stopped but she would not give up so close to winning.

Senji thought to himself again. He needed to claw this victory back. He'd been preparing for this debut beforehand. Senji, at the brink of the climax, was going more in the typical warrior's spirit that usually remained subdued but pushed him when at a disadvantage. Using his free hand, he went to try to bend it and then go for reaching back towards her intersection point of the hands. He'd then work to grapple one of them. Getting out was a secondary concern. The primary one was not going out. If this did not work, then Senji wouldn't have any more moves to play. The last of his strength for this exchange, all of the quantifiable power available that could be safely put through his left arm's muscles, went into targeting the grip of her support hand in a bid to break the momentum she had. If he at least managed to do that, then one arm would be endurable for a longer period due to not being as good of a choke. Then, this would end up buying time for Senji to exert more effort into torquing her top ankle closer to damaging it for an extended period. He mentally begged Haru to tap out whichever way the exchange went. He did not wish to maim her but there was little option since Geun wasn't giving him much to work with in terms of an approach.

He struggled, which was admirable but it was a long time since she had him in that choke and she would hold on as if her life depended on it, her knocks going white as she resistant them from being pulled apart. Weakening erect of the choke aside, he was reaching behind himself which was also working in her favor. Even if she had to skip on fighting due to over-extending her leg, she was ok with that trade, there was no way she was going to give before she would force her oponent out cold.

It did not work. Senji held little long-held malice for Geun. Perhaps that's why Senji didn't go as hard as he would if it was life or death. Otherwise, she would've found her ankle snapped over its opposite. It cost him though. Senji, reluctantly, moved his hand down in order to slap her hip thrice over to indicate he was done. If she let him go, a slight weakness overtook him which made his elbow snap to catch himself if she unwrapped her arm from around his neck. He reeled from the effects of the fight. Senji huffed out several hard breaths, intaking that precious oxygen. He kept his head turned towards the floor, letting his vision clear of any blurriness. He remained on the floor of the time being, keeping himself propped up on his side whether Geun wanted to wriggle off of him or stay there for whatever reason. Right now, Senji was focused on recovery after his unfortunate loss.

Geun, let go immediately, unwrapping herself from around him and shifting to the side. As she was announced the winner she absentmindedly raised her hand a little but kept looking at Senji, they both came close to seriously hurting each other and neither time did one of them tap. It felt like they were weirdly similar in that regard. Either way, she waited for him to recover and stretched out her hand toward him to shake. "Good fight, though I feel Huan will be shouting at us both soon." She said with a slightly awkward smile

Senji got to his feet with Geun's assistance by grasping her name. He nodded and hardened up at the mention of Huan. Here we go. "----Oh, you know her?", He said. Now he had confirmation she knows of him from Lei then. Senji reached up to run his fingers over his throat. His neck got a self-applied massage until the aching stopped. Good. He didn't break anything this time. He'd just need some rest before whatever match came next. He crossed his arms underneath his chest, looking around at the crowd before returning his gaze back to Haru.
