Re: Geun Haru vs Senji Takijima
Trying to maintain the hold Haru would let Senji transition to the closed guard, while she would oppose his movements, she aimed more to tire him out than actually stop him, shifting in ways that were more of a nuisance than actually attempting to stop him. The second attempt would however not work she could easily move her head out of the way due to the award position Senji's arms were in. The transition to being in his guard also had its advantages as now she would lift him slightly off the mat, that way his own weight would contribute to the pressure on his throat.

Re: Geun Haru vs Senji Takijima
He muttered out a thought that she might be able to hear in regards to being picked up like a slippery sack of potatoes.
"I'm not heavy?"
To counter her lifting of him off the mat, Senji tried to lean his upper back so that it'd still be touching the floor. Senji instead tried to use his legs to his advantage. He first went to keep the left leg wrapped around her and resting on her lower back. Senji then tried to plant his right's sole on her hip before pushing in a bid to use his leg's strength to push her down. Naturally, Senji leaned forward due to the inverted Full Nelson. He wanted to push her backward far enough as to where he could then kick off the front of her hip. This would allow Senji to shoot his right under her past and thread it over her nape for an attempt at head control. Finally, Senji used his single leg to push on Geun if he managed to get it wrapped around the back of her neck. This served another purpose of trying to rip her interlocked fingers apart as he continued to try to set a favored move up. He knew that the legs were stronger than the arms, and she had his arms pinned in place more or less. Therefore, it'd be beneficial to stretch the limits of his flexibility to use his conditioned leg's strength to overpower her.

Re: Geun Haru vs Senji Takijima
Geun would bide her time, seeing where his tempts were headed, then when he moved to push at her to force her fingers free he met no resistance as she unwrapped her hands. This would put the excess energy of his push into movement, forcing them completely apart. She would not stay stationary, however, looking to use the opportunity to reestablish ground control she would rush at him but instead of taking a mount, she moved for his legs, attempting to wrap one of them in a figure four leglock.

Re: Geun Haru vs Senji Takijima
The next thing on Senji's agenda was stopping Haru once more. Senji watched her getting closer, taking a position where his arms and feet were raised to receive. He could kick from down here too but it'd only result in a penalty if he unintentionally struck her.
["Got you."], Senji said as he finally got an opening. At least, that's what he hoped. Whichever arm reached out first after seeing the beginning motions of what she intended to do, Senji tried to raise the corresponding leg to make her dive into a Triangle Choke! If she reached out with the left arm to gain control centered on the legs, then he'd use left leg to wrap around her head before locking that foot with the back of the right leg's knee. The reverse action would be shot for if the right arm went ahead of the left one. Following that, should it occur, Senji proceeded to bring her closer to his stomach area by pinching his knees toward the center point. He was gonna bring her closer to lock in the Triangle's suffocating embrace! In particular, he was also going to borrow Huan's counter if Haru went along a similar motion. That remained to be seen though.

Re: Geun Haru vs Senji Takijima
'Clever' Geun thought while seeing his attempt at a triangle but wouldn't skip a bit, moving from her attempt to preventing the strangle by forcing her shoulder further inside the lock as well as getting her forearm in there while her other hand would move to the side of Senji's thigh to grab him under the knee before turning for a Boston crab transitioning to a single leged variant, Geun's favorite and most trained one. What she was trying to do was similar to Senji's attempt during his sparing with Huan but since it followed at the beginning of the lock she would establish control of his leg enabled by her shoulder repositioning, effectively preventing that escape. One could even pose that she might have seen that escape before and readied herself for it just in case.

Re: Geun Haru vs Senji Takijima
Sweat continued to build up, plastering across his face as well as a thin amount moving downward to be absorbed into his rash guard. He was turned around, and found himself on the receiving end of a leg lock. His face pressed against the floor, the dull ache becoming more prominent as time went on. His calmness was beginning to turn into haste. Senji's fist hit in the ground sideways, banging against it once in frustration. Maybe he could endure it? Senji decided to take a gambit as he tended to do in difficult submissions. He doubted Haru would break his leg, she seemed nice enough. However, there was that lingering doubt in her integrity. This was decent overall. If she continued to force his ascension, then Senji wouldn't tap but he'd have more time to think of an escape that didn't involve striking. A risky move on his part involved his desire to let Haru get tired of him not tapping despite wearing the leg down initially. That would probably lead to her transitioning to lock him in something more painful or promising. Then, Senji would be able to work his way out of that instead of being in this challenging position.
["Guard? No. Leg lock? Perhaps-dammit--"]
To alleviate some of the pressure that plagued his spine, Senji lifted his body up using his arms so that he'd be on a similar height to Haru so that his spine wouldn't be flexing. She wasn't sitting on his back from what he could feel, so Senji didn't need to worry about her torquing it outward.

Re: Geun Haru vs Senji Takijima
The big advantage Geun had in submissions was her practiced knowledge of how far you can push a hold before something breaks. In the past, it was useful to actually break bone but now it gave her the necessary knowledge to push it right against the edge, without actually leaving lasting damage of that sort. And so she lowered herself down on his back, to counteract his defense and pressed on as much as she could.

Re: Geun Haru vs Senji Takijima
Nerves communed with one another, indicating the transition of the aggressor. Senji forced a groan down, gritting his teeth as Haru bared her power over him. This match was definitely not looking good. The blistering pain, mostly in his back, made the younger man, boy to her, let out a gutteral growl of frustration. It hurt. It hurt quite a god damn lot. But still, Senji aimed to endure it by keep his body suspended even if she was sitting on his support system. The noises and shifts of his muscle and skeleton communicated that Geun was doing the equivalent of if she succeeded in an Armbar but kept a certain pressure. Just enough for pain compliance, but not enough to overextend the elbow. Now, Senji wasn't familiar with a lot of wrestling holds. This one seemed to target his back and hip, it seemed like? His thigh bone, the femur, was the strongest bone in the human body so it could take quite a lot of punishment before faltering.
"Geunnnnn...dammit...", Senji painfully moaned out as he was reluctantly drawled out her name while his mind desperately thought of something to exploit. There must be a flaw. He looked down at her lower legs, staring up her backside. His leg kept getting closer and closer to the back of his head despite it being very hard to actually make it do that since he wasn't a contortionist. The initial plan of endurance wasn't working. She'd either had a wiseness to her planning or chose to make sure he was secure all-around.

Re: Geun Haru vs Senji Takijima
Geun felt the characteristic tightness of a hold pushed to the limit of someone's body. In this regard, if she was to push more, she would pop Senji's hip joint, possibly leading to torsion in ligaments and muscles, nasty but nothing like an actually broken femur, though breaking it would not be possible just like that. Either way, she stopped advancing, she didn't actually want to hurt the boy, now it was a matter of whether he would tap or try to get out, the latter choice caring the risk of injury as despite her reluctance to hurt him, Geun would not let go even if it meant Senji hurting himself. "I would advise against moving now."

Re: Geun Haru vs Senji Takijima
Senji's brows knitted further at her words. Right, don't move too much. He wasn't an explicit idiot, if he shifted and twisted too much then he'd end up hearing a "SNNNCH" or "SNAP" that wasn't meant to happen as a body part gave out. Or rather, it would be preferable not to occur. Senji pursed his lips, reasoning that she wouldn't break it under the current circumstances. No malice, just business. If Huan did watch this for some entertainment, he hoped she'd accept his reasoning for being stubborn. If not, well, he'll just feel sorrowful about it and attempt to move on to greener pastures. Other than that, Senji took her advice and held his current position. In a first step towards resistance, Senji tried to crawl towards the left or right depending on what leg she had grasped. It was a slow, grueling process and it could very clearly be seen that he couldn't exactly ignore the pain despite having a built up tolerance. Maybe the positioning of the two could be made awkward where Haru could then be tempted to stop putting torque on his hip? On the off chance doing this made the hold worse, Senji tried to reverse his position before his hip blew out before his back did. By his God, he did NOT want an earful from Lei nor his sibling. Speaking of, he needed to reconnect with Hiroyuki soon. Now though it was time for business. The temptation to give up started to creep into his mind, invading and the smothering the determination to fight for his right to peace.
