Re: Veronika Váradi vs. Armando 'Army' Rodriguez - Cause and Effect
That hit?
Fuck, that actually hit.
It seemed like such a weird thing to be surprised about, but after Army connected, he was genuinely stunned by the result. Veronika had done such a good job staying one step ahead of him since they met, the idea of getting one over on her, even for a second, seemed impossible.
But that happened. That really happened. He tagged her with one of his best shops, and she dropped like a lumpy sack of potatoes.
With only one arm working all that well, his options for a follow up weren’t too varied, but he resolved to make the most of it. Army came in from behind, wrapped his arm around her neck, and pulled her into a tight chokehold, laying into her neck with heavy pressure.
And just to rub salt in the wound, he took a page from her book and whispered into her ear. ”Your turn.”

Re: Veronika Váradi vs. Armando 'Army' Rodriguez - Cause and Effect
Veronika’s body jolted as Army’s arm cinched tight around her throat, the suddenness of it cutting off her air before she even had a chance to fully recover from the clothesline.
Her hands shot up right away, clutching at his forearm, nails digging into his skin as she tugged and pulled, trying to relieve the crushing pressure. Her boots scraped against the mat, kicking out in short bursts as her back arched, the trapped energy in her frame thrashing in sharp jolts.
Her face twisted, lips parting in a strained gasp, the smug calm she’d worn for most of the fight cracking under the choke. Her hair fell wild across her face as she jerked her head, trying to turn enough to slip some space for breath, but every tug only seemed to make the hold sink deeper.
Her body writhed against his grip—first wild, desperate flails, then more measured as her instincts took over, trying to pivot, shift, anything to change the angle. Her thighs pressed and flexed, pushing her hips side to side to keep from being dragged fully down to the mat, her entire body fighting to stay vertical even as her vision began to shimmer around the edges.
And through it all, his whisper burned in her ear—taunting, mocking. Her fingers clawed at his forearm, struggling to pry free, but her breathing was already ragged, broken up into shallow bursts.
For once, Veronika wasn’t smiling.

Re: Veronika Váradi vs. Armando 'Army' Rodriguez - Cause and Effect
To Veronika’s credit, she didn’t go gently into the hold, putting up one hell of a fight. She wasn’t a lightweight by any measure, but holding her down took far more effort than he was expecting, as she twisted about, squirmed, pulled at his arm, did everything in her power to stay in control, to stay conscious.
It was more than a little satisfying to see, too, and Army wasn’t ashamed to admit it. He wasn’t a submission hold guy, but after the clinic she’d ran on him, this was more than justified, and he intended to milk it for everything it was worth. As she fought, he just ground down harder, applied more pleasure, made her stay in the Army Hotel as unpleasant as he could.
But, all good things had to come to an end. It was clear that Veronika wasn’t going to submit to this, and he truthfully didn’t want her to. After everything she’d put him through, it was far too easy. But he wasn’t about to just let her off that easily. So…
”Ready for your flight?”
That was all the warning Army would give before he lifted Veronika up in the sleeper, arched his back, released her at the apex, and sent her flying across the ring with a Sleeper Suplex, one that would likely end in a nasty landing.

Re: Veronika Váradi vs. Armando 'Army' Rodriguez - Cause and Effect
Army’s words were barely out before Veronika felt her world shift.
His grip on her neck tightened just enough to drag her upward, her boots leaving the canvas as he hoisted her deadweight off the ground. Her arms flailed for balance, hands scrabbling at his forearm, but it was far too late—his back arched, and then she was launched.
Her body flipped through the air in a violent arc, only for gravity to drag her down hard.
CRASH!
She landed flat on her upper back and shoulders, the impact snapping through her spine, her legs folding up from the whiplash before flopping back to the mat. A sharp cry tore from her lips before she rolled over onto her side, clutching at the base of her neck with one hand while the other instinctively reached for the canvas, desperate for grounding.
Veronika then forced herself onto her stomach, slowly trying to rise to her feet, although she seemed quite rattled.

Re: Veronika Váradi vs. Armando 'Army' Rodriguez - Cause and Effect
Well, that felt good. Weirdly cathartic. Strange how something as simple as throwing a person around could do that for you in the right situation.
Of course, it helped that Veronika really had it coming, making it so much more satisfying to execute. After getting the best of him since they’d met, it was his turn to show her what he could when he was in the driver’s seat, but Army knew he had to be a little careful - after all, this was submissions only, and he wasn’t about to make her give up with suplexes. As fun as it would be to try.
His options were limited when it came to these kinds of matches, never much of a technical wrestler, but that wasn’t to say there weren’t things he could do - simple things, effective things, fun things.
”You okay over there?” Army smirked as he made his way over, just as she was starting to peel herself off the canvas. ”Let me help you up.”
And that he did, just not in the way she likely would’ve wanted. As Veronika rose, Army dipped down, wrapped his arms around her waist, and pulled the woman up into a tight bearhug, clenching tight around her spine and pouring on the pressure. ”So, now that we’ve got a moment, wanted to ask - was it worth it?”

Re: Veronika Váradi vs. Armando 'Army' Rodriguez - Cause and Effect
Veronika’s body jolted when Army’s arms clamped around her waist, crushing in tight. The reverse bearhug arched her spine, forcing a sharp grunt out of her lips as her boots left the mat for a split second before kicking against it, trying to find leverage.
Her hands clawed at his forearms, nails digging as she tried to pry even an inch of relief, but his grip was iron. The squeeze sent pain radiating up her back, her chest heaving against his arm with each short, ragged breath.
Still, even trapped, even wincing, she smirked through the strain.
“Worth it…?”
she hissed between breaths, her voice low but laced with sass.
“Darling… watching you squirm was priceless.”
Her head leaned back against his shoulder, dark hair spilling across his cheek as her body writhed against his hold. She twisted her hips, pushed her arms down, testing for weak points, but his strength overpowered every angle she tried.
Fine.
With a sharp growl, Veronika drove her elbow back—once, twice, again—targeting his ribs, each shot aimed to make him loosen just enough for her to slip free of his crushing embrace.

Re: Veronika Váradi vs. Armando 'Army' Rodriguez - Cause and Effect
Army pressed hard against Veronika’s body, digging in deep, grinding down on her with everything he had. It wasn’t just to hurt her, though that was a large part of it - getting a little revenge for that crap back in the ring, all those knockouts. He’d be lying if he said he hated the way her body felt against his, all that squirming, the sensation of their skin sliding together…
Damn shame they had to go this route. Could’ve been a lot of fun together. That was pro wrestling for you, though.
”Funny.” He gritted his teeth and swung Veronika about in the hold, wrenching her body back and forth to increase the pain. ”I was about to say the same thing, more or less.”
Army was more than willing to continue grinding away on her, amping up the pressure, but she had others ideas on the matter, and she made them known when she rammed her elbow into his ribs. Once, twice, thrice, with the third hit being more than he was willing to take. He let her go with a pained grunt and took a few steps away to nurse her battered bones, but he wasn’t about to let her off so easily - after a moment to recoup, he came at her once more, surging her way and swinging at her with a powerful lariat.

Re: Veronika Váradi vs. Armando 'Army' Rodriguez - Cause and Effect
Army’s arm swung like a guillotine, and Veronika barely had time to register it before the impact smashed across her chest and neck.
The lariat hit flush, flipping her body inside out before she crashed to the mat with a heavy thud. Her back arched up from the force before she rolled onto her side, clutching her chest and gasping for air.
Her legs kicked once, twice against the canvas, before finally going still.
Veronika lay sprawled on the mat, her chest heaving, hair scattered wildly across her face. She shifted only slightly, curling her arm close to her ribs, staying down long enough for Army to regroup and decide his next move.
She was hurt, rattled, and grounded.
The perfect opening for him to follow up.

Re: Veronika Váradi vs. Armando 'Army' Rodriguez - Cause and Effect
Bam! And down went Veronika. Again.
As satisfying as it was to knock her flat like that, Army had to concede, it was a little surprising. She’d done such a good job of dismantling him the first time they met, she’d almost seemed untouchable, lie she was one step ahead of him at every turn. Now, he was learning the opposite - she could dish it out, but taking it? Oh, that was a different thing. And he was just starting to hit his stride.
Army took a moment to catch his breath after decking Veronika, enjoying the opening he’d made, before he reached down and went back to work, grabbing her by the head and pulling her back to her feet. She wouldn’t be standing for long, though.
As soon as she was up, Army dipped down, pulled Veronika over his shoulder, then stood up and pulled her legs and head down, stretching her out of his shoulder with a grueling Torture Rack, one that would put her flexibility to the test.

Re: Veronika Váradi vs. Armando 'Army' Rodriguez - Cause and Effect
Army’s power was on full display, and Veronika’s body told the story. Her back bent unnaturally over his broad shoulders, her arms dangling helplessly at her sides as the Torture Rack dug into her spine. Each bounce he added only made the pain worse, forcing her taut muscles to stretch under his control. Her face twisted in agony, her legs kicking, her hands clawing the air as the referee quickly circled in, checking if she wanted to give up.
But Veronika Váradi was never one to yield, not this soon, not in front of him.
“No!”
she hissed through gritted teeth, shaking her head wildly. She endured, even as her breath came in sharp gasps and sweat clung to her forehead.
And then, like the predator she was, Veronika found her opening. While the referee leaned in, trying to gauge her condition, she reached out, her eyes narrowing with malice. One sharp swipe and her fingers raked across Army’s eyes, blinding him in an instant and forcing to let her go! The referee, blocked from view by Army’s bulk, missed the dirty play entirely.
Veronika dropped free, landing awkwardly but rolling through the pain. She seized his wrist, using his moment of blindness to whip him hard into the ropes. The ring shook as Army rebounded, charging back her way. Veronika dropped low, forcing him to leap over her, then spun back up to her feet. Timing it perfectly, she lashed out with a sharp front kick aimed squarely at his gut.
