It's been awhile since Tomoya has graced the ring. The girl's last foray had been against the impetuous and energetic Blaise Cameron, in which the male was handed his first ever win. Tomoya couldn't fault him for his victory, as much as it stung for her to lose to one of the most prolific jobbers. He'd earned that pin, and the audience still spoke nostalgically about the quality of the match.
But the fact remained that she had lost. To Blaise Cameron. It was no wonder she'd kept out of the public eye since. And once she had shaken off her embarrassment, she was back in the gym training. Honing her body, jogging before the sun had risen. Sensing the time was right for her return, she approached the LAW officials. She was surprised to learn they had opened the door to men now for intergender matches. But that didn't deter the girl for a second, as she pleaded her case. Finally, they relented. But only on a couple of conditions. One, that her match was against new talent. Two, that the match be No DQs and a 2 out of 3 falls.
Tomoya didn't care for the stipulation. Securing a match was a victory for her, no matter the rules. And so that night in the LAW arena, she emerged from the backstage with a beaming smile to the start of her theme, clad in her white and green workout jacket. Her signature emerald and black leotard was underneath of course, with matching gloves and knee length boots.
