A Matter of Honour: Homura Kōgetsu vs Kyo Akamatsu

The smother was restricting Kyo's breathing a little, but not so much that he was going to relinquish this hold. After everything that Homura had said and done to him up to this point, he had no intention of letting his opponent off the hook that easily: he continued to stretch her back relentlessly against his knee, wanting nothing more than to wrench a submission from her.

That was, until her nails gouged his eyes.

Sharp pain burned in his eyes, and he cried out, releasing Homura as he rolled onto his side, clutching his face and kicking at the mat. The crowd boo'd at Homura's heelish antics, but that did not stop the bluenette from kicking Kyo hard in the side. Gagging, Kyo went rolling onto his front, breathing hoarsely.

And then, for the second time in his match, he found himself trapped between Homura's powerful thighs.

He payed at Homura's glistening legs with one hand: the other was being wrenched upwards in a modified armbar, his shoulder feeling like it was being wrenched from its socket. He gave a muffled cry of pain against Homura'a leg, his breath cut off even as the submission hold was locked. Kyo was trapped in the center of the ring, the crowd yelling as the two perspiring wrestlers were stuck in the center of the ring.

Slowly, and painfully, Kyo dug his elbow and knees into the mat, trying to edge his body close enough to the ropes to hook his boot over the bottom rope. All the while, his shoulder burned and his body started to grow weaker. If he could not escape then he faced a very real danger of being forced to tap or nap...

Although she claimed she was an honourable wrestler, she was not below using dirty moves when it came to achieving what she wanted- which was victory. In her mind, there was nothing less honourable than letting someone like Kyo win over her and destroy everything that she stood for. No, she had to win this match no matter the cost. If it took a few dirty tricks, so be it- the crowd be dammed. After escaping the bow and arrow submission hold, Homura was more determined than ever to put her foe down.

She quickly kicked at his side and forced him to roll over before sitting next to him. Her thigh wrapped around his head with his face pressed against her sweaty thighs, partially smothering him. Her legs tightened around his head and neck to squeeze him, forcing his face deep against her thighs too. Meanwhile, she grabbed his arm and yanked it back towards her. Kyo was a sitting duck, flopping and struggling against her while he was being pushed to the limit.

The male wrestler began to press his elbow and knee to the mat, elevating himself while trying to squirm towards the ropes. "Hmph, how pathetic" she said, blowing some stray strands of hair from her face while looking down at her opponent. "I could easily break you right now, if I wanted to" she mocked. "But, I want you to realize that you have no chance in defeating me. That realization alone should make you submit to me....." she would say, before suddenly letting him go.

Homura would then get back up on her feet, reaching down to grab Kyo's hair and force him up to his knees. Gripping his hair, she forced him to look up at her while she bent forward slightly towards him. "Choose your next words carefully, worm. Give up now.....or I'm going to make this much more worse for you" she said glaring at him.

"Ggggh..." Kyo felt sweat rolling down his forehead as he struggled to breathe: not only were Homura's legs crushing his head like a walnut, they were also cutting off his air supply. He only had one arm; the other was still being hyperextended, feeling like it was going to snap at any moment now. All he could do at this point was paw at her legs, and blindly kick out with his legs, trying to slide his body closer to the edge of the ring in the hopes of hooking the bottom rope.

Such was the pain Kyo was in that he barely heard Homura's relentless taunting. Thankfully, however, much to his relief, Homura suddenly release him. With a pained gasp, he flopped onto his front, breathing hard. He was painfully aware of the fact that he had never made it to the ropes: Homura had released him only because she had wanted to. His shoulder burned, and he was breathless as he lay on his front, easy meat for any follow up attack Homura might have wanted to make at that moment.

As if on cue, Kyo felt his scalp burn as Homura yanked up up to his knees by his hair. Sweaty and panting hard, Kyo grimaced a little as Homura leaned in to taunt him further. Past the pain and the exhaustion, his pride rankled at this woman's mockery. It would have been so easy, from this angle, to hit her with a low blow...except, of course, that that was a type of move Kyo would never bring himself to do.

But no matter what Homura thought, he was not helpless.

"Then you'll simply have to make it worse," he breathed hoarsely.

And with that, he would aim a solid punch into Homura's midsection, hoping to double her over and make her release him. If he was successful, then he would try to hook her head under his armpit and slide one of his ankles behind hers, flipping backward to try to wrap Homura up in a roll up pin!

Her plan was to not only dominate him physically but also do it mentally. The visual of him on his knees, sweaty and exhausted, while Homura towered over him with her hands gripping his hair would be cemented in his mind forever just before he would submit- to the mere realization that defeating her was an impossible task for him. Homura looked down on him with a stoic expression, simply waiting for his answer. One that soon came, but not the one that she was looking for.

"You insulant little....Guuuughhh" she cried out, releasing his hair and doubling over when he punched her gut. Coughing and gasping, she was unable to stop him from tucking her head under his armpit before sliding his ankles behind hers. He flipped backwards and rolled the two up in a surprise roll up pin.

"One....Two..." the referee counted before the Japanese woman suddenly kicked out in explosive fashion. She would get up on one knee, looking pissed. Homura would wait for Kyo to get back up as well, when she would launch herself into a spring and attempt a quick dropkick aimed at his chest!

Kyo's surprise counter attack, and surprise follow-up pin, worked perfectly, and in a split second the two of them were rolled over on their shoulders, legs intertwined as Kyo folded Homura in a rollup pin. This had the unintended side effect that the audience now got a very nice view of both of their backsides, but Kyo, at this point, was far more focused on winning than on propriety.

Unfortunately, Homura kicked out of the pin attempt, with explosive fashion, sending Kyo rolling sideways. Huffing, spun back up to his feet...just in time to see Homura charging right at him, launching herself at him with a drop kick! His instincts kicked in, literally: he responded with a kick of his own, shooting his leg up and hoping to hook his heel around Homura's in one of his trademark counters! If he managed that, then he would try to twist to the side and unbalance Homura, forcing her to fall onto her front...and from there, he would clamp both legs around Homura's trapped limb and drop behind her, trying to slide his arms across her chin and forehead in a crossface submission!

It was going to take a lot more than a roll up pin attempt to defeat the bluenette. There was nothing that he could do that would caught her by surprise, and if this was the moves he was resorting to in order to win- she certainly would have no trouble in this match at all. After kicking out at the count of two, Homura would quickly push up to her knee before leaping up when Kyo got back up on his feet. She would then rush towards him, with a dropkick and he seemed to have the same idea.

Only if wasn't really a kick, he raised it to hook his leg around Homura's and then twist it hard to one side. This caused Homura to stumble forward and fall face first on the mat. "Urgh" she cried out and in an instant, Kyo was on her back. His legs clamed around hers and he slid his arms around her chin and forehead in a crossface submission.

"Nrghhh! Urghhh" Homura cried out in pain. Her upper body being bent back while she clawed and pried at Kyo's fingers. "Ughh AHH" she moaned, clearly in pain. The bluenette would squirm forward, arm extended as much as she could while she attempted to edge close to the ropes and grab them to earn that rope break while sweat dripped off her body onto the mat.

Despite her slow and desperate attempt to crawl to the ropes, Homura would refuse to give up!

Kyo smoothly transitioned from one submission hold to the other, taking Homura down to the mat for a crossface submission. Holding his breath, he clenched his teeth as he leaned back, pulling hard on Homura's chin and forehead. Aiming to torque the hold tighter, he unwound his legs from Homura's and instead snapped them around one of Homura's arms, trapping it, before leaning back further, pulling Homura's head backward off the mat.

"Again...you will...apologize!" he hissed through clenched teeth as he wrenched at Homura's neck and upper back. "For what you said about mt family!"

Homura would grunt in pain, her eyes narrowed as she remained ice cold and focused. She had one objective, and that was to crawl to the ropes as quickly as possible. Of course, it was not an easy task. Kyo was a strong man and his weight was across her back, effectively pinning her down to the mats. His strong arms crossed around her face while he pulled her head backwards, lifting her upper body in a "C" like position almost. When he released her legs, she used her knees to crawl forward and picked up the pace while Kyo's legs wrapped around one of her arms.

The bluenette grimaced in pain while using her other arm to now stretch if forward, ultimately crawling her way to the ropes and then grabbing onto the bottom ropes to finally earn herself the rope break that she was so desperate to get. At the same time, she remained silent and refused to give in to Kyo's demands or to submit to him!

Kyo's face was intense and focused as he wrenched back on Homura's head, tilting her upper body off the mat in such a way that tested the curvature of her spine (and, inadvertently, gave the crowd a nice view of Homura's generous cleavage). It was clear at this point to the audience that there was no love lost between these two wrestlers, that they were going to slam, stretch, and batter the hell out of each other until either one of them tapped or was pinned, or had to be dragged out of the ring on a stretcher.

Gritting his teeth, Kyo leaned back, amping up the pressure...until Homura's hand grabbed the bottom rope, and the ref immediately told him to break. If it had been any other person, he would would have been impressed by his foe's tenacity, but he was sparing absolutely no kind words or thoughts for a cheater like Homura. Releasing the bluenette, Kyo rolled up to his feet, grabbing her arm with one hand and a handful of her hair with another.

Tucking Homura's head under his armpit, Kyo would grab the back of Homura's high with his free hand; unless stopped, Kyo would take a deep breath and arch back, aiming to suplex Homura into the mat, and, in the process, wrap her up for an instant pinfall!

Even though Homura was in a lot of pain at the moment, she did her best to mask the pain purely because she did not want to give Kyo the satisfaction of watching her struggle and be in pain. Her upper body was being bent backwards with Kyo maximizing the torque in his submission hold. Eventually, the bluenette managed to crawl and claw her way towards the ropes to get the rope break. She remained down face first on the mat, holding onto the ropes while taking a second to recover. Meanwhile, Kyo did not want to ease up the momentum either. He quickly reached down to grab her hair and pull her back up to her feet.

Gritting her teeth in frustration, Homura was unable to stop Kyo's next attack. Kyo grabbed her head and tucked it under his armpit before grabbing her leg and pulling her up and over him for a suplex. Her back slammed against the mat and she howled in pain. Moments later, the Japanese man would go for a quick pinfall.

"One...." the referee counted before Homura would power out of the pinfall, kicking out and bringing a shoulder up. "Tch, it wont be that easy" she hissed, looking to roll over onto her front before pushing up to her knees as she tried to get back up to her feet eventually.
