Ryu vs Amyra: Double Debut

Doing some basic stretches backstage, Ryu made sure to carefully recite every part of his warm-up. Never one to forget the basics, Ryu was cautious down to the last detail. Despite that, the blue dragon felt confident. This was a much more headstrong Ryu stepping into the ring than the person he was back when he was a rookie, back before Yozakura. Finishing up, Ryu smiled, as he heard his entrance theme begin, ready to make his proper debut.

Appearing before the world, the blue haired boy threw up a peace sign, happy to be introduced to the crowd. People cheered pretty loud, though he doubted it would be quite as rapturous as what his female foe would garner. That was to be expected, and he was still happy to have support.

Finding his way to the ring, Ryu now leaned against the turnbuckle, steadying himself. The Blue Dragon knew that if he could keep his mind from wavering, he could win. She taught him that after all.

Amyra was smiling excitedly as she bounced from heel to heel backstage by the entrance curtain in preparation for the match ahead of her tonight. One that she was quite excited for since it would be her first foreway into mixed wrestling.

Something she was positively thrilled about, especially considering that her opponent tonight was a CUTIE. Nodding when asked if she was ready Amyra would look up with a bright eyed expression on her face as her music began to play and she'd then come out, posing brightly for all to see and causing a load chorus of cheers from the crowd as she did so.

Happily bounding her way down the ramp towards the ring Amyra would happily smile, wink and high five fans that were close enough till she made it to the ring before hopping onto the apron and then slipping between the ropes and into the ring proper. Hopping onto the corner right afterwards Amyra would pose with her arms in the air as the fans cheered around her before hopping down and turning to face her opponent, giving him a quick wink and even blowing a kiss at him.

Lazily leaning against the turnbuckle, Ryu kept his arms folded as he awaited the entrance of his foe. The blue dragon hadn't seen anything of Amyra, unlike what the young lioness had seen of Ryu. When the energetic rookie appeared at the top of the ramp, it was undeniable that she was pretty cute. The fans certainly thought so, giving Amyra plenty of cheers.

Once she was in the ring, it seemed that Amyra thought the blue haired boy was cute as well. The wink and kiss forced Ryu's expression to change momentarily, but he didn't respond to Amyra's flirty behaviour. That was a distraction he couldn't afford. Ryu always had to remember that. Still, he would remain friendly with his opponent. "Hey! I'm Ryu, nice to meetcha!" The bluenette greeted with a wave.
