A Lion’s feast! Sophia Roberts vs Tokie Fronderbarg

Sophia emerged from the curtains as her music played with a wide grin on her face. While she didn’t expect her opponent to proved much of a challenge she hoped that it would help get more eyes on her and entice more worthy opponents to accept her challenges. However as she made her way down the ramp she felt a sting of loneness as Martha was absent, having called in sick. “Maybe I’ll send her a get well card after I’m done moping the floor with him” Sophia thought as she gently removed her tiara and cape before placing them on the floor next to her corner. Satisfied that her valuable jewelry and prized cape was away from danger she slid into the ring and walked to her corner already confident in victory.

Tokie was already in the ring when Sophia emerged, and the confident grin on her face immediately made his stomach knot.
He shifted his stance, rolling his shoulders as if to loosen up, but his movements were a bit stiff. Watching her carefully remove her tiara and cape, placing them safely in her corner, only reinforced the feeling that she was completely at ease… while he wasn’t.
When Sophia slid into the ring and walked to her corner, Tokie swallowed and took a cautious step forward. He raised his guard, hands up, elbows tucked in, eyes fixed on her.
“…Guess you’re feeling pretty confident” he muttered under his breath.
He stayed light on his feet, tense and clearly wary, a hint of fear showing in the way he kept his distance but he didn’t back away.

Seeing that Toki was nervous and keeping his distance Sophia decided she would have to get the ball rolling. She walked leisurely toward Toki before stopping in the center of the ring, putting her hands on her hip, and spoke “Alright weakling since I’m in a generous mood I’ll allow you one free hit so go on do your worst~”. Sophia was confident that Toki couldn’t do any meaningful damage and at worst she would just be slight stunned so she figured it wouldn’t be a huge risk for her to tank the hit head on.
