Huan Lei Brightspring vs Osiris [D]-Standard Match-

A blow struck and it struck true. Osiris’s forearm crashed into Huans chest, sending her flat to the canvas. Watching the Sea Serpents body crash down had its own satisfaction, as did knowing that he had gotten the better of the fearsome woman

If only for a minute. Osiris suddenly winced, feeling a strike at the back of his knee, sweeping him down to the ground to her level. A small groan of pain broke past his lips as Huan stretched out his leg in ways it shouldn’t be contorting, trapping him in a kneebar! It was painful, specially for one who wasn’t used to this type of combat. He realised she was a bit too far for him to reach efficiently to break the hold.

“N-ngh.. i guess i figured out the “serpent” in your name.. you really like to trap victims in your coils..”

He’d laugh a little at his joke, a pained laugh. But.. he figured this was like a finger trap. Push in.. not yank out. Instead of letting Huan leverage all the pressure on his knee, Osiris actually pushed in closer in the hold, sliding forwards and intertwining the two closer. Now his thigh was where his knee was, at her hip. And while still locked up, it was harder for Huan to keep the same intensity of the hold..

That, and now he was in range. Osiris made a palm like he used to when he wanted to break boards to show off.. before, from a semi-close range.. he’d slam his knuckles mercilessly into Huans side, over and over and over, aiming for the same spot each time to REALLY pump in the pain!

Huan could tell Osiris was not used to ground combat or at least to grappling as it took him a bit to find an escape strategy, to his credit, she didn't see it coming and as he readjusted his position she tried shifting her body to add more pressure before realizing it would not be of much use at the current angle they were at. It didn't matter that much, she thought, she still had control and she had to simply shift her grip and...

Then the palm of his hand struck her side making her wince and furrow her brow, she was still resolved to maintain the hold and started to shift when another strike came. "You are damn stubborn, you know that?" She said just before another strike came, making her finally let go. Though as she uncoiled from around her opponent she would send a quick kick to his head, mostly to cover her retreat.

Then she pushed off the mat to slide away and get back up to standing, Knowing what she knew now she wasn't planning to keep the fight up on their feet but a little intermission wouldn't hurt, or at least so she thought.

“Pot callin the kettle black?”

He’d say with a bit of a rough laugh, as he was finally easing himself into the fight. Huan rose to her feet, as Osiris would have followed a second or two after if she didn’t lash out a kick at him.. hand barely raising to block it. He’d rub his, grunting a bit. It had caught him in the wrist, but definitely wasn’t something that he couldn’t deal with.

As Huan stood, he’d get a pretty interesting idea on how to take her down. The white haired man flashed her a grin, suddenly rising up.. and adopting a MMA stance, hands raised and body lithe and ready to move.

And move he did. Suddenly Osiris lunged out at her, ducking down and wrapping his arms around Huans waistline to scoop her right up and off her feet! He certainly didn’t waste a second, as he’d immediately aim to slam her figure into the corner, spearing her right into it, shoulder first. His arm aimed to latch across her neck, attempting on getting her in a cross choke, and contorting her body backwards to leave her dangling in a standing dragon sleeper, abs exposed to the world and her throat having air cut off underneath his biceps!
