Battle of the Cinnamon buns: Gold Liger vs Deku

[The Riders]

Before the ref can count three Liger somehow gets her shoulder up and kicks out. Panting and sucking in big deep breaths her chest raising up and down, sweat dripping from her body as she groans and slowly tries to roll over clutching her neck from hitting the mat hard. Kicking the mat with her feet staying on her side hoping to recover and get herself back into the match.

[Bare]

Deku’s eyes widened in shock as Liger threw her shoulder up, breaking the pin against all odds making his eyes widened as he was thrown off and laid next to her. Gasping and sputtering he looked stunned she managed to break out, and nearly despaired at the thought of how difficult it had been to pin her only to be thwarted. But... he refused to give up.. his body was at his limits... but he would go beyond them. Pushing himself up groggily into a sitting position he looked at the side laying Liger next to him. Back turn to the male he leaned forward trying to wrap his arms around her neck. If he was successful he’d squeeze tightly while pulling back, trying to pull her into a sleeper hold!

Liger doesn't know how she was able to kick out of that move, breast bouncing with every breath she takes letting out a small whimper and groan from the pain. The back of her neck throbbing as she lays on her back looking up at the lights with a dazed look on her face, "...So.. SO close..." SHe mumbles in a low tone that only Deku can hear, before feeling her opponent arms wrap around her neck for a sleeper hold feeling a vice grip around her neck choking her. Struggling trying to roll her body over to get free or power out of the hold.

[Bare]

Deku panted exhaustedly as he climbed behind Liger’s back, his limbs felt like lead, his breath was coming out in ragged gasps and just in general he felt like he could drop at any moment. But he needed to push through, he was hurting, but so was Liger, he could do this, he just needed to push jer that extra bit further. Squinting his eyes shut a image if a dark haired, blue eyed girl came to mind, causing him to immediately open his eyes with a resolved look. As they began rolling around the ring Deku grunted and held on as tight as possible. Using their changing positions to his advantage he did his best to wrap his legs around the girl, and if successful he would close them tightly for a bodyscissors on top of the sleeper. ”Please... I’m sorry but... I can’t lose here...” Deku gasped out into Liger’s ear as he did his best to squeeze her.

Tears start to appear in Liger eyes looking up at the lights above the ring stretching her arm out as if grasping for something...anything at this point to give her a chance to escape or a slim chance of victory. Feeling her sides being squeezed added on with the arm around her neck slowly tightening sapping every last bit of air and strength from her body, eyes starting to blurry as she can't hold the tears back from falling. Thinking to herself that It's always the same she comes close but then she loses in the end... no matter how hard she tries nothing changes at all, deciding to just save face and not surrender she passes out in his submission hold arm falling limply to the mat. The ref quickly rings for the bell running over to check on Liger and roughly pushing Deku off so he can loosen his grip from her neck.

[Bare]

It all came down to this, if he could get her to submit here he could end this, and if he couldn’t... well it was all over for him. So he squeezed and tightened the hold as much as he could, trying to get Liger to give in. ”Please... submit..” He groaned out as he squeezed, not noticing the tears falling from her eyes as he did his best to end the bout. However much to his shock the girl went limp under him. Immediately he loosened the hold, not wantint to cause any damage to her, and as the ref came over to check if she was out he held his breath, as the girl’s arm fell he watched carefull, and as soon as it hit the mat he immediately started to untangle himself from her... only to get some extra help from tbe ref who shoved him off Liger. “Hey I was getting off.” Deku said not understanding the unneccessary roughness and as the boos rained down he admittedly found himself a but frustrated and even annoyed that he was being hated on for relatively no reason. Even by the person paid for their impartiality! It was definitely a way to sour the joy of victory..

The ref paying no mind to what Deku is saying as she goes to check on the limp woman pulling out the smelling salts, holding the item underneath the woman nose to wake Liger up gently helping her sit up slowly so to get air into her lungs. Slowly coming to seeing the ref concerned face staring at her, a heart wrenching sob is heard as tears start to fall from her eyes as the ref helps the beaten woman to her feet.

"Sniff.... Great... Match... I'm sorry I took your victory away." Giving a small bow to her opponent, Liger is helped over to the ropes allowing the medics to come over and look at her to make sure she is alright.

[Bare]

Deku’s anger and frustration soon melted away as Liger was revived, and immediately released a choked sob from her loss. Immediately his heart fell and he looked down, feeling horrible for what he had to do to her, of course it wasn’t personal and he’d rather she tapped then pass out, but now wasn’t the time to try and defend himself as she was helped outside the ring. Knowing that taking part in the usual post match celebration wouldn’t feel right he too stepped out of the ring, but naturally he passed Liger being checked on by the refs as he did. ”I.. I’m sorry too.” He said back to her before walking up the ramp to head backstage. Head hung low, not feeling at all like a winner.
