Arthur views himself as a businessman. Whether he lives up to that title is up for debate.
He carries himself in a professional enough manner most of the time. Speaks plainly, tries to appeal to people’s desires, and approaches life in a mercenary manner. He grew up in a life where he was denied little, and rarely heard the word ‘no’, and this shows in his adulthood. In his eyes, nothing exists that cannot be bought or sold, and he firmly believes that any result can be accomplished, so long as one finds the right leverage. Every man has a button; it’s only a matter of finding it.
He gives off the impression of being a cultured, urbane, but ultimately spoiled man, but anyone thinking that this makes him soft is in for a rude awakening. Violence is a rare treat for Arthur - he doesn’t often get the chance to indulge in it, and he much prefers manipulating people to fight for him or getting others to do his dirty work. With an opponent on the outside of the ring, Jack catches them in a headlock, pulls them into the ring through the top and middle rope until their body is hanging on the ankles, then gives them an elevated DDT, spiking their head into the canvas.
With an opponent that’s running at him, Jack ducks down, pushes them into the air from the chest, and hits them with a massive European Uppercut on the way down.
One of the many reasons Jack was kicked out of Royale - he had a habit of doing this to his female opponents. He grabs their breast with a tight pinch and twists, causing extreme pain.
After knocking his opponent into the corner, Jack rushes forward as they rise, grabs them by the head, and rams their skull into the turnbuckle at full speed.

- While Arthur is mostly a brawler, he’s received instruction throughout his life in multiple martial arts. His instructors can never put up with him for too long, however.
- His suit/wrestling outfit is tailored to fit well and be comfortable for the rare opportunities he needs to fight. It also has a few hidden pockets for ‘surprises’ - namely, his brass knuckles, which he always keeps on hand.
- Jack is near-sighted, but wears contact lenses.
- The tie is a clip-on. Opponents who grab it are usually taken off guard, which gives him a moment to strike.

Arthur is the eldest son of Jack Cross, the CEO of CAGE UK, the United Kingdom’s longest-running and most established wrestling promotion. His mother was Kaede Yamaguchi, a Japanese wrestler who immigrated to the UK, though she died shortly after he was born of birth complications.
The Cross family started CAGE UK it in the mid-twentieth century and dedicated themselves to the art of pro-wrestling, creating a respected franchise that showed off some of the best talent from across the world and encouraged wrestling with honour and respect. The company passed from one son to the next, and Arthur was expected to take the reins one day.
This would become a problem. While Jack Cross was a good and trustworthy man, his son seemed to take up none of his best qualities. Arthur was, to put it mildly, a bully, who never hesitated to use his family’s name and influence to get what he wanted. When that failed, he had no problem resorting to violence, using his imposing frame to push others around and beat them into submission. While he did have love for the business of wrestling, it wasn’t the same sort of wrestling that CAGE UK had traditionally catered to. Instead, he was drawn to the wrestling in his mother’s homeland, and the hentai wrestling craze in specific.
This created a rift with Arthur and his father. As Jack brought Arthur into the family business, he began incorporating more and more LAW-like elements into the program: a focus on sexier wrestlers, emphasizing the women’s division while downplaying the men’s, and even started experimenting with hentai wrestling. This brought new eyes to the products, and ratings rose, but older fans were put off by the sudden shift. Jack, feeling pressure from their sponsors, decided to pull the brakes on Arthur’s changes.
Arthur, however, decided to take matters into his own hands. Working behind the scenes, he created his own faction within the company, the Syndicate, and worked with like-minded individuals to effect a hostile takeover in CAGE UK. What followed became known as the Cross War - a year of matches where Arthur and his associate fought against Jack and his old guard within the company, switching titles, fighting backstage, interrupting events, and struggling for dominance.
It all came to a head at Wrestle Empire, CAGE UK’s biggest event, where Arthur took on his father in a Hell In A Cell match for the World Heavyweight Title and full control of the company. After a brutal, barbaric brawl, Arthur lost to his father and was ousted from the company and disinherited from the family.
Needing a place to hang his head, Arthur decided to pull some strings and wound up going to LAW, along with some of his more faithful associates. His plan in Japan is to make a name for himself, build up capital, and work towards an eventual invasion of CAGE UK.
