Personality: A kind, earnest, hard-working young man. He’s well-mannered and respectful to everyone he meets even if they aren’t always respectful in turn. He’s a martial arts enthusiast and is always eager to test his skills in combat. He can be a bit reckless and overeager at times though which can lead to him biting off more than he can chew.

History: Ryota lived a fairly normal life in Kyoto, Japan. The only thing of note about his background was that his dad ran a karate dojo which caused him to develop an interest in martial arts from a young age. Ryota was trained by his dad and hoped to one day inherit the dojo but unfortunately that day never came. The dojo was never particularly famous or prestigious and the steadily dwindling number of students caused the dojo to lose money and eventually it was forced to close down. This didn't deter Ryota though as he was determined to revive it. He would participate in tournaments all over the country in order to earn money and prestige but despite his best efforts he wasn't really getting anywhere with his goals. Then one day he heard that LAW would be holding tryouts in his area. Ryota thought that perhaps exposure on a bigger stage and audience would help him become rich and famous enough to revive the dojo so he signed up. He managed to do well enough to get signed to a contract.
