Physical Statistics

Endurance: ★★★★★ - Army hits like a tank and can take blows like one, but he is particularly weak to being countered.
Strength:★★★★★ - All of Army's wins so far have been by knockouts. There's a reason for this.
Speed:★★★ - Surprisingly fast for his size.
Defense:★★★★ - Can work well on the defense when he knows what he's up against. Combined with endurance, he's a hard man to put down.
Technique:★★★ - While he’s been out of the wrestling game for a while, he still has a good grasp on technique.

Wrestling Statistics

Strikes: ★★★★★ - Army's punches are devastating, as you would expect from a heavyweight boxer.
Submissions: ★★ - Goes for basic, but effective submissions.
Powerhouse: ★★★★★- Thanks to his size and strength, he's capable of throwing around smaller opponents with ease.
Aerial: ★★- Not his go-to, ever, but he’s been known to bust some out on special occasions.
Counters: ★★ - Is good at countering strikes, but relies on brute power when it comes to other moves.

Signature Moves
The Shield Breaker
ImageAn overhand right - whereas most punches are delivered straight on (crosses, jabs) or at the sides (hooks), this one comes up and over, going down right on top of the opponent - kind of like a reverse uppercut.

It might not look like much, but you have to consider Army's size - his punch is already powerful, and the Shield Breaker adds more power by relying on his weight - he's basically dropping his body weight right onto his opponent's head. Since he's so taller, it tends to go right over any guard - blocking it requires most people to raise their guard high, which leaves them extremely vulnerable even if they pull it off. Since he's so much heavier than most of his opponents (ie, women) it tends to knock them flat on their ass.

That being said, using it exposes him quite a bit, so he uses it sparingly; typically when he had an opponent stunned or in solid defense.
Hurricane Armando

Finishing Moves
Castle Bravo
Image
Army catches his opponent with in the front facelock and lifts them up for what looks like a vertical suplex. Instead of completing the move, he goes halfway, kicks out his legs, and brings the opponent down for a devastating sitout powerbomb.
The Smash
Image
Army's deadliest punch. The Smash is a mixture between a hook and an uppercut, and what makes it so effective is that it's very powerful and very difficult to see coming. It drops low, coming in under the guard, and cracks the opponent squarely in the jaw. It's not the easiest punch to set up, especially in a wrestling match, but if Army can connect with it, it will instantly drop most enemies.
Critical Finisher

Personal Information
Personality
During his first stint in wrestling, Army was brash, cocky, and headstrong, often throwing himself into situations without thinking and paying the price for it. He took more than his fair share of lumps and made no shortage of enemies, but it was a learning experience, and he softened up over time.

Now, back from his foray into boxing, he’s returned to the sport as a more measured man. While he still likes to put up a cocky front, it’s mostly just that these days - he likes teasing people and talking, both to psych his opponents out and to just have fun. He tries to take things at any easy pace and doesn’t get worked up easily, but he is competitive and loves a good fight - when someone can bring the pain to him, he’ll start turning things up, and he can get intense if need be.

Generally speaking, though, he’s a ‘don’t start nothing, won’t be nothing’ kind of person.
History
Army is the latest, modern incarnation of the Rodriguez line, a proud lineage of boxing men that goes back several generations. He didn’t always embrace this - as a kid, he ran even wilder than he does today, got involved with a small-time gang and did some mischief as a pickpocket. Nothing too serious, but his father stopped it before he got out of hand and started him training, putting his youthful energy to better use.

His father held nothing back in his training, and it shows - he’s got the body of someone with a lifetime of discipline and training behind him, and he’s not afraid to show it off, very proud of both his physique and technique.

His boxing career was going off to a good start, running small matches in Puerto Rico while he worked himself up, and he ended the season with a 5-2-1 record. But when the off-season came, he looked for stuff to fill his free time. His older sister, Carmen - an accomplished Olympic boxer and proud Full-Time Pain In His Ass - had dipped her toes into Japan’s mixed wrestling scene, and she dared him to do the same. He took up the challenge and made the trip.

What was a summer sabbatical turned into much more, as Army became a fairly popular fixture in the Japan wrestling scene, finding it suited him better than boxing ever did. The looser rules and the more creative matches were a treat, and he would be lying if he said he didn’t enjoy the sexy mixed matches, too. What he didn’t enjoy, however, was constantly being pigeonholed into matches against ‘dominant’ opponents. As time went on, it was made clear that management had little interest in supporting the mixed division as a real competition, and that they mostly viewed him as fodder to get beaten by hot women…which he didn’t hate, to be honest, but wasn’t what he wanted his career in wrestling to be 100%. Craving real competition, he slipped back into boxing.

For the next few years, he joined Japan’s fledgling boxing scene and gained some fame and success there, eventually winning the All Japan Rookie King tournament and getting a straight ten win record over four years. Though he was happy with his place, he found himself missing wrestling more as time went on, and he eventually wound up signing a part-time deal with LAW to curb his cravings.
