Backstory: Roman started on the streets, while most people would hate the roads and want to get away from them. Roman found a home in them; tough love is what he would call it. For him, it was customary to see someone getting curb stomped after an argument. While the streets were tough, he learned everything he knows from them. But at a young age, Roman, while not hating his life, wanted more. More than what he has. More than he can handle. More more more. That drive alone was enough to put Roman on a path to build himself up. Being a street rat, he would have to use what he had at his disposal to get ahead. So he would learn from the best he could around him. It didn’t take long for Roman to get into a gang, running shady stuff when he had to. While being ordered around, he looked around and learned first hand how to lead. Building your entire future from scratch is a lot of hard work. Work Roman was not going to do, so the next best thing was to steal the gang he was a part of from the current leader. After all, it is already a proven thing. Luckily Roman knew precisely what to say to the right people, gaining the straight allies to help him. Better to have friends than enemies. Along the way to his leadership path, Roman would have to pick up some tools of the trade. Namely, how to mess someone up in a fight. Mostly being self-taught himself, Roman would pull his fighting from the streets. Like it or not, Roman was looking to stomp someone out.
Fast-forwarding a few years, Roman would initiate a coup for him to take over the gang. It would go fabulously, but you know how it goes with these gangsters. All it takes is one insult, and suddenly the insulted has to fight who insulted him. So there it was, the fated battle, now Roman was getting demolished by the gang leader. No honor among thieves; this had Roman pulling out all of the stops to win the fight: eye-poking, groin kicking, hair pulling, and the works. While no one would say it, it didn’t matter Roman won. But if Roman was telling the truth, he wanted more of that feeling in that one fight. More of that rush when he was beating on the gang leader. So much so a few days after becoming the leader, Roman would put himself in fighting pits to get that rush again. Now honestly, he fights whoever he can to get that feeling of someone under his boot. At the same time, keeping to his leadership responsibilities.
