Metholodical and strategic, Deku is all about hitting well placed and timed blows to targeted areas of his opponet’s body while alternating between high flying antics and the odd submission to keep his opponet off balance. However his style of fighting and personality tend to leave lots of opening as he takes time to think of what to do next giving opponets a chance to counter.

Speed: 4/5
Defense: 4/5
Technique: 3/5

Favored moves:
Counter centric moves, Splashes, punches, kicks, suplexes, head and arm locks, crossbodies, anything involving rebounds off the ropes.

Signature Moves: High and Low: Jumping up Deku will first land a swinging high kick to his opponets face, directly following this though as he falls he will sweep his other leg down low to knock his opponet’s feet out from under them sending them flat on their back where he will attempt to finish this combo by doing a front flip and swinging his leg down for an axe kick to his opponet’s body.

Manchester Smash: With an opponet in a seated or kneeling position Deku will rush forward and deliver a baseball slide kick to his his opponet’s chest or face. Depending on the angle he comes down and the exact position of his opponet.
---------------------------
Finishing moves: Detroit Smash: Running from one side of the ring to the opponet on the other side Deku will jump up in the air and bring his fist back before swinging it down as he approaches his opponet dor a superman punch.

Final Smash: Named for its ability to be the final move in most matches Deku is apart of, he will leap up from the top rope at a dazed opponet. While in the air he will spin 360 degrees while rearing his leg back before swinging it around to hit his opponet with a vertical round house kick to his opponets’s face.

Personality:

Deku can be described as a textbook wallflower, he is socially awkward and often stutters when he first meets someone new, or in a situation that is even remotely risque. On top of this he tends severely doubt most of his decisions and, unless backed by a strong reason or pushed by some other outside influence he will undoubtedly overthink things.

That being said he is quite the analytical and intelligent young man. A pastime of his is watching old or new matches and going over every detail of the moves, styles and ways wrestlers fight in order to understand more and improve his own style. He just normally lacks the confidence to make ise of said analysis.

Outside of this he is also absurdly loyal, and protective of his friends, even if he isn’t treated the best his compssion and patience takes care of that. Rather he just hangs in there and sticks by his friends, imderstanding there is likely a reason their acting the way they are.

But if said friend is in trouble or danger Deku will be the first one to jump in to help however he is needed, even if he is not neccessarily asked ot wanted too. Rather he has a natural inclination towards a heroic mindset and will go out of his way to help anyone, not just his friends. As long as he sees its the right thing to do he’ll do it.

Backstory:

Izuku Midoriya grew up in Hamamatsu, Japan with his mother Inko, who raised him on her own due to his farher passing shortly after he was born. Growing up, Deku always admired his mother, not only because she raised him single handidly and thus was the most consistent and calming presence in his life, but also for her profession. See Deku’s mother was a rather famous local wrestler.

Long before he had been born she was famous on the independent scene for her kind and nurturing disposition as wel as for her hypnotic and death defying aerial maneuvers. She was especially famous in their hometown where she grew up and had a long standing rivalry with another famous wrestler turned mom. Of course Izuku wouldn’t learn this aspect of his mother till a bit later on in his life. For now in his younger years he focused on being his mothers fan boy.

However despite his best efforts to emulate her.. Izuku was a bit of a wimp growing up. A socially awkward mess, perpetual crybaby, and rule stickler, he wasn’t exactly popular growing up. Hence why some local bullies nicknamed him Deku, meaning useless. This of course struck a blow to Deku’s self confidence and dream to be a pro wrestler like his mother. It eventually got so bad to a point that when he was ten years old he nearly had a mental breakdown.

Thankfully however, his mother knew exactly what he needed to hear. “You can do it. You can become a pro wrestler too.” Hearing these words from both his mother and source of inspiration was enough to pull Izuku from this dark corner and into the light with a remewed, albeit fragile sense of hope. Inko meanwhile decided to call in a favor with her old friend and rival who ran a wrestling gym nearby. While Inko wanted too, and would assist Izuku in training she knew she wouldn’t be readily available to properly train him all tbe time. Hence ber signing him up for her old rivals school.

Starting wrestling lessons Deku was quick to pick up on basics, his mothers blood coming through as he showed an innate talent for highflying maneuvers. Though as he trained he also proved to be highly capable at strike maneuvers, something the head trainer, his mothers former rival was keen to help him improve on. Soon after a few years and Deku’s skills grew he was considered ready to hit tbe mat in real matches. So at the age of 16 he was transfered from the gym he had been learning to what was considered the ‘main’ gym of the company.

Impressed he immediately went about improving himself even more, going as far as to assist in small shows the company did here and there. It was through this however he officially met Katsuki Bakugo, the son of the woman who ran the company, meaning he was the son of his mothers rival. Of course Deku knew of the boy. They had been in the same class for years, and he’d been bullied fairly often by him, though he doubt said boy knew that given he barely paid attention to him outside of the teasing.

But needless to say Izuku had now garnered Bakugo’s attention who wasn’t exactly a fan he had to share the spotlight with another new up and comer. Thankfully the aggressive male seemed content to leave the more timid boy alone as long as be kept his head down and did his own thing. He also encountered the young man’s younger sister, another aspiring wrestler who unlike her brother was a bit easier to get along with, if also a bit aggresive and antagonistic. But in a more friendly way.

Over the next two years, in between improving his schools and overcoming some insecurities Deku had somewhat come into his own, enough to clash with Bakugo a few times to the point many in the company saw the two as rivals. In any case an opprtunity to shine soon came in the form of a recruiter coming to tbe next show, one Deku was booked in. This was his chance! An oppurtunity to be scouted and recruited into the world of pro wrestling legitimately! The only problem? The opponet he was booked against was Bakugo...

The match the two had was one that went down in the promotions records as one of the longest and most brutal bouts to be had si ce their mothers clashed in the ring. It was in this bout that Izuku accepted the nickname Deku as a monicker of never giving up, and decalred it as his ring name, greatly aggrevating Bakugo in the process. Eventually through the intense match though, despite a titanic effort from Deku, he just wasn’t able to overcome Bakugo’s relentless offense and the blonde was tbe last one standing. Despite this the recruiter was impresssed with both boys efforts and offered a place in the new league LAW for both. So now Deku is in LAW looking to make the most of this oppurtunity.
