Middleweight Championship Match: Megumi Mutoh vs Tina Armstrong

Of course Megumi blocked her strikes.... Tina cursed under her breath before loudly screaming as Megumi hammered her knee again, dropping Tina to a kneeling position in front of her! Tina groaned and gasped for breath, her face twisted in pain as she looked up at Megumi.

"Ngh.... damn it...." Tina said under her breath, frustrated beyond words at her continued inability to land significant offense in a string of moves as opposed to stray bursts here and there. Tina tried to lunge up with her less hurt leg, trying to uppercut Megumi as she stood in front of her!

Hitting Tina's knee, Megumi managed to bring her opponent down onto her knees, giving her more opportunity to take advantage of her. But, as she was about to make use of her next move, Tina suddenly sprung up and delivered an uppercut right under her chin, and she cried out in pain as her head was thrown back by the uppercut. "Aargh!!"

Staggering back, Megumi would look back at Tina, wincing in pain as she felt sore around her chin. In retaliation, she would launch herself forward again and attempted to deliver an enzugiri on Tina, hitting the champion right into the back of her head with her foot!

Tina was struggling to rise up as her knees still pulsed with agonizing pain. Unfortunately for her the uppercut didn't floor Megumi. Instead as Tina rose Megumi rushed in back on the attack! Tina tried to get her arms up to block, but the bulk of the strike hammered her skull!

Tina silently slumped the the mat, a weak moan escaping her lips as she pushed herself up with her arms, slowly crawling with her arms only as she was trying to put space between her and Megumi.

Seeing that her enzuigiri had brought Tina low onto the mat, Megumi looked at her opponent trying to crawl away from her in her effort to make some distance between the two of them. She would have none of that as she would follow after her, bending down to grab her by her head before clamping said head between her sweaty thighs.

"If you're not staying down, then I'll make you stay down..." Megumi said as she would then grab Tina by her waist, looking to lift her up onto her shoulder in order to throw her down into the mat with a powerbomb!

Tina knew she was in trouble when her head was shoved between Megumi's legs. She couldn't really fight back, but she could save herself from taking even more punishment! Tina still had her upper body strength and she reached around to grab Megumi's legs to prevent herself from being lift up! "Ngh.... nope!" Tina said as she tried to brace herself as best she could in an attempt to flip Megumi over onto her back! Even if successful Tian would slump forward to her hands and knee's unable to do anything but crawl as the punishment she had endured in the match kept mounting in the effect it was taking on her body.

Before Megumi could lift Tina up onto her shoulder, Tina managed to stop her by lifting her up before flipping her over, and the former Wrestle Angel ended up hitting the mat back first. "Aahhh!!" She cried out from the landing. Grunting, she would roll over onto her hands and knees to see where Tina was, only to see that the middleweight champion was also on all four.

Considering that she had taken lesser damage compared to Tina at this point, Megumi would try to get herself back up onto her feet before Tina could manage to do it. She planned to then grab Tina by her waist so that she could try doing something that she rarely did; performing a deadlift German suplex on her!

Tina may have stopped the power bomb but this was something she was powerless to stop! She couldn't hook a leg or pry herself free as Megumi continued to make a punching bag out of the champ! Tina went flying up and crashing hard into the mat! She howled out in pain as she flopped over onto her side before rolling onto her back! She was laid out looking up at the arena lights as she gasped for breath, hurting, embarrassed and her frustration mounting as she had failed to land any meaningful offense consecutively against Megumi.

Throwing Tina over with the deadlift German suplex, Megumi would then release her body as she would get herself on her knees so that she could look at Tina. Shaking her head as she would brush aside some stray locks off of her sweaty forehead, she would look straight into Tina's eyes. "This should be a good lesson for you..." Megumi said as she would grab Tina by her head. "This'll teach you that you still have more to learn..."

Pulling Tina back up onto her knees, Megumi would rear her right hand back, clenching it into a fist. Then, she would bring the fist right into Tina's cheek, looking to give her quite a nasty punch to her face.

"I'm stronger than you, and your title's gonna be mine!"

Tina dangled in Megumi's grasp, barely able to stand as her blurry vision tried to focus in on Megumi. She tried to growl out a response to Megumi but the fist smashed Tina in the face! Her head whipped back and she staggered, slumping down to a knee still looking to be out of it! The crowd was watching as it appeared as though Megumi was on the verge of defeating Tina in convincing fashion to become the new middleweight champion in only the second title defense of the belt since it had been established!

Smashing her fist into Tina's cheek, Megumi could tell that Tina was weakened enough, which would make winning this match an easy affair. Seeing that Tina was on one knee, Megumi decided that she might as well go for the finishing touch as she would run past her, rushing over to the ropes to rebound back to her, giving herself enough momentum.

Once she got close, she would leap up, bringing up both knees to smash into the sides of Tina's head, hitting her with a Shining Wizard!
