Unreasonable Demands Part 3

Aozora would smile at seeing all the destruction that was being caused before she suddenly heard that awful voice of that idiot CEO. She would exhale for a second before turning around with a smile on her face. The man looked a bit worried, that means she was starting to get to him and her tactics were working. So would then listen to what he said, saying that the PPV would continue and everything would end.

“Unless you are assigning a female GM, we are not leaving. Now if you have a female GM, feel free to bring her out and introduce her. Otherwise, we are going to continue to tear this place apart. So what is going to be Mr. General Manager?”

Aozora's demands were succinct and to the point for once. The manager stated plainly that she and the rest of the Rebellion would cease this upstaging if they were to see a female LAW General Manager. DeFranco would begin pacing left and right across the platform near the entrance ramp. The man bore a contemplative yet bewildered look on his face as he considered dignifying the request. After stopping to survey the damage once more, Dan shook his head in disgust and raised his mic to his face to speak.

"A-and that's it? You'll see a female General Manager and you and the rest of your goon squad will just...take off without stalling this event -my event any further?"

The skepticism in the voice of the man behind LAW was palpable. But perhaps even more alarming than the skepticism was the impression - the feeling, that the CEO/GM might actually entertain this ridiculous coup!

Kyoko held up one of the poor victims for her cohort to have her fun with them when Dan finally showed. He tried to maintain an air of authority but the uncertainty of this whole situation was completely surprising him and it showed in his body language. Kyoko almost felt satisfied but the full satisfaction wouldnt happen until it he caved into there demands which for all his nervousness he hadn't done yet.

"Thats what she said dumbass!" Kyoko shouted before looking at Sarah to see if she still wanted apiece of the guard in her hands, if not shed just slam him into the floor some more.

Kyoko's comment left many in the arena stunned. It was the first time that anyone in the League, wrestler or not, took such a tone with the man in charge. His uncertainty began to shift towards silent, stone-faced demeanor. After allowing a moment for the crowd to get in their collective "Ohhhh" reactions. He'd reply in a clear and apathetic manner.

"Sorry what's that? I couldn't hear you over the sound of me docking your next paycheck."

"Matter a fact, those poor ladies and gentlemen - the fellow LAW staff that you beat up. Their medical expenses ought to come out of ALL of your paychecks. And that can...no that will be arranged."

Aozora would have an annoyed look on her face. It seemed that she was not making herself clear and now the CEO of the company was starting to go after their paychecks. Still, if that is how he wanted to play it that was fine with her, she would simply turn it back into her favour.

"I am sorry but does your staff not have insurance? Their medical bills should be covered by the insurance company or are you too cheap to give your staff insurance. Maybe you are trying to cut as many corners as possible and trying to give as little benefits as possible to save as much money as possible, that would also explain why you have not hired on a General Manager. See here I thought you were a sexist pig but it looks like I was perhaps wrong, your just another member of the corporate elite, trying to screw out the little guy. But the fact is you are required to have this kind of insurance by law, so either you have just admitted to the entire world you have broken the law or you are making fake threats now or perhaps you don't even know how any of this works."

The tall suit raised an eyebrow upon hearing that last sentence. His face twitched ever so slightly trying to process the attacks on his character in broad daylight in front of this ppv crowd. DeFranco would touch the space between his eyes, which closed as he let out a deep sigh. It was the first time that the CEO seemed genuinely upset with anyone since establishing LAW, let his employees. The man would abruptly raise his head. It seemed he was quite done taking disrespect, and quite done with this situation.

"Look around you, woman!" He said, gesturing by waving an arm.

"Do you think that you'd be working at this company - at ANY company if the CEO didn't know what he was doing? Do you think that any of you ladies would have signed a contract that your General Manager wasn't meticulous about to a tee? Do you think the intergender division of LAW would exist if I were sexist? Don't answer any of those questions, by the way." He said, whilst composing himself following that outburst.

"This company would not be a multimillion-dollar wrestling promotion without my leadership. People wouldn't be paying for this event and watching worldwide if I was not knowledgeable about this business....you see that guy?" He said, pointing to guard that Kyoko had pummeled just moments ago.

"He's got a wife and two kids. Insurance covers the medical costs of his injuries but who says he'll recover from them? Who feeds the family while he's out with a broken face and ribs? Oh but I'm sure that's not your business. I'm sure if I was female, I'd have defended him from that beating and all would be well, right...?"

"These people. All LAW employees - yourselves included, have fantastic insurance! And as I'm sure you're completely unaware of, it is NOT cheap. We keep medics on staff nearly 24/7. We have a fully functional medical facility in the back. Doctors aren't free. Insurance ISN'T free! The insurance companies foot the bill initially, but a large portion of that cost falls back on us. The doctors are private practice. The more staff they have to see, the more they charge."

"The point of everything I'm saying is this: you are quite literally wasting money and everyone's time with his would-be coup. You're free to criticize my credentials if you wish. But if you must do so, please do it from the back of the unemployment line! Yer fired. The whole lot of you. Get out of my arena!"
