Fifth Match - First Annual Queens of the Beach: Astrid Ostberg vs Kaia Ambrosia

The takedown had proved such a success that Astrid hoped to be quick to capitalize on it, snaring Kaia's arm in between her legs and exerting still more force. Not content with what she had inflicted already, Astrid tried to tighten things even further by arching her back off the ground to exert more force behind her squeeze.

Kaia, however, wasn't having it. Bearing through even the pain Astrid was making a point to bring, the Greek woman managed to roll onto her side and throw a punch against the blonde. Astrid's eyes briefly widened, impressed to see that Kaia still had it in her to bring the punches in a hold like that, where Astrid was putting forth her best efforts. As the blows rang against Astrid's ribs, she soon would find herself forced to abandon the hold, letting go of Kaia's arm as she flopped onto her back.

After the takedown the Greek woman would soon end up being trapped in an armbar as Astrid would start to put pressure on her captured arm.However the brunette was not going to give up just yet as she would roll onto her side , and start throwing punches that would connect with her opponent's ribs. It would take a few blows before she would be able to force the other wrestler to release her , but in the end it would work as Astrid would break the hold as she would then roll away to create some distance so she could make it back onto her feet.

Astrid, too, got back up to her knees, then her feet, staring away at Kaia as she rose onto her footing across the ring from her. The blonde took a few seconds to stretch, wringing out her neck and arms, and rubbing her side where Kaia's punches had landed. It was a little sore, but it wouldn't be a problem. Astrid was made of tougher stuff than that.

Soon recovering, Astrid wasn't intending on keeping Kaia on her feet for long. She lowered herself to charge, kicking off the ground before she barrelled forward at the Greek woman as fast as she could. As she got nearer, Astrid would grab for Kaia around her shoulders, then twist to the side, in the hopes of using the momentum to whip Kaia across the ring.

After the brunette had stopped rolling on the canvas she would make it back to her feet as she turned around to see the blond was doing some stretching in the meanwhile.Thinking that was a good idea she wanted to do the same , but would have to leap to the side as Astrid would charge towards her.If she would succeed in moving out of the way the Greek wrestler would just their as she hoped that her opponent would rebound off the ropes so she could then knock the incoming blond down with an big boot.

Astrid had a plan lined up, or so she thought. But much to her surprise, it would all backfire, as Kaia turned her plans around to hit her back instead. The brunette suddenly got out of the way just as Astrid was ready to make impact, and Astrid only had a few seconds to realise what she was about to do before she went straight into the ropes herself, the rebound bouncing her backward just as she had intended Kaia to do.

And just as Astrid herself had been planning to use a big boot on her opponent, it was almost poetic that Kaia would strike the Norwegian woman with one as she neared back in on her. The thud of her boot connecting with Astrid could be heard through the stands surrounding the ring as the blonde was bowled back off her feet, flailing her arms through the air before she slammed into the canvas on her back.

The Greek heavyweight was able to use her opponent's own momentum against her as she would move out of the way of the charging wrestler.As she then turned around she would watch as the blond would run towards her after rebounding off the ropes as she would raise her leg as she went for a big boot to knock down the other wrestler to the canvas.

Her foot would make contact with the Norwegian woman's stomach as she would quickly go on the move as she would run towards where her opponent had landed.As she would leap over the fallen wrestler , and land on the ropes as she jumped off them as she went for a springboard bodydrop as she hoped that Astrid would not manage to counter this.

Astrid was left panting, making the best effort she could to try and catch her breath before she had to act again. Maybe, she hoped, she'd be able to get back in the swing of things and turn this match around. Kaia's use of her own momentum against her had taken Astrid by surprise, and it was something she hadn't expected out of the Greek woman. Now the match wasn't exactly going her way - but Astrid couldn't let it stay there for long.

The Norwegian watched as Kaia vaulted over her, looking up in time to see her rebound off the ropes to try and slam herself down onto her foe. But Astrid's stamina was among her best assets, and she wasn't about to let Kaia take control - not when she could do something about it, at least. She may have been downed, but she wasn't out. And so, Astrid threw her weight to the side, moving to roll herself away from Kaia so that she would only land on the surface of the mat.

Kaia had just taken her opponent down with an big boot , and was already running towards her.As she planned on showing some athleticism she posess to go for an aerial move. As she would leap onto the ropes , and then leap off them as she went for a springboard bodysplash whit which she hoped to knock the air out of Astrid's lungs.

Only to see to her horror that the blond was not as dazed or stunned as she had hoped.As while the brunette was slowly descending towards her downwards opponent , Astrid was already moving as she rolled out of the way so that the brunette would have nothing to hit but the surface of the mat.

Astrid's gambit worked, and Kaia was sent slamming into the surface of the canvas face-first. Quickly capitalizing on the change in their fortunes, Astrid picked herself up on her knee as she got up from where she stopped at the brunette's side, taking a moment to stretch as she rose to her full height.

In a different match, Astrid thought, she might have followed this by going for a pin attempt, now that her opponent was downed and on the mat. But this was a submission match, and that was out of the question. Astrid would have to get more creative if she wanted to test Kaia's mettle. Luckily, Astrid knew a thing or two about submissions herself - as someone who enjoyed testing her opponents to see how they compared to her in terms of strength and stamina, it never failed to see how they could stand up to such trials of endurance.

"Let's see how well you can get out of this one, yeah?" Astrid said as she sat down on top of Kaia's back. Then, she would drape Kaia's arms over her legs before she hooked her fingers under the Greek woman's chin and pulled up, performing a camel clutch.

Kaia had landed face down on her face after she had failed to hit her fellow heavyweight as she went for a springboard bodysplash. With her now laying on her belly she would be unable to put up any resistance as the blond wrestler would act quickly as she went to sit on the top of her back.Following that she would feel the other wrestler wrap her arms under her chin , and then decided to pull as she would be trapped in an camel clutch rather quickly.

Now the move was painful enough the fact that the blond was confident that she could not escape from the way she was talking.So that would only get her into more trouble as she tried to pry those hands apart.While she did that she would reply back ''well let's find out as you have not beaten me yet''
