I'm quitting and i'm sorry.

I never thought i'd ever make this post, but here i am.
i was on quite a big hiatus due to variety of reasons, but i intended to return, as i've done in the past. there has been a stupid pattern of highs and lows for me in LAW - at a highpoint, i would get really excited to RP for a certain amount of time, planning new threads, stories, starting them and then after a while, something would happen that would stop my high, like getting sick, or life issues, or just busy. then the low point comes with me struggling to get back into RP and such gaps mess things up with the storylines for me as well as other people.
it is time for me to accept reality. even if i do manage to return at some point, get excited again, i do not know when i might just stop abruptly for any reason again. the simple fact is that i just cannot put LAW high in the list of my life's priorities. i understand that this will disappoint and/or piss off a lot of people, but it is for the best that i do this now instead of continuing to piss off and/or disappoint people by disappearing and returning over and over again.

i'm also suspecting that my absence might be going against some faceclaim inactivity rules, therefore my characters/faceclaims will be up for grabs. for this, please DM me on discord. in case multiple people want the same character/faceclaim, i will be deciding who it goes to.
i will also answer any character or storyline related questions.

All i can say to everyone who was involved with me - i am very sorry for disappointing you.

Hey, I'm really sorry to hear this. I've definitely been in that place before and have had similar thoughts about the site. That said, while you're not asking me for advice, I hope this won't come off as too rude as unsolicited: it's OK to be on and off at LAW. Some people don't work with that well, and that's also fine, but it's also OK to just avoid working with those people.

There are people at LAW who can and will work patiently, even happily with that on and off schedule. I wouldn't let perceived pressure to be on 100% of the time with everyone make you feel like you have to quit everything. If you really feel like it's for the best for you to leave because you don't get anything from LAW, then by all means—just make sure it's your decision and not a response to other people putting pressure on you to be available.
