Quick heads up.

If you're transferring/copying your girl over from AFW, you're allowed to post her match history from there. As long as you link to her last rp's and you explain that she's either working for both companies, or switched from AFW to LAW, it's fine. I tried explaining this in the faqs.

Unless people would prefer for LAW to be it's own canon/continuity, you can link to AFW rp's. I just didn't want people who come from AFW or similar sites to feel like they have to start over, entirely.

I feel we should probably establish kinda early if AFW is a completely different cannon or if it's the past of the wrestlers, otherwise people will go in both directions with them and it might get confusing, especially if people bring over wrestlers who fought each other and one remembers the encounter while the other hasn't had it due to them taking AFW to be a different cannon.

I think a collective opinion would be helpful. What's your preference? Should AFW be an alternate canon or no?

Just let the poster decide. I know Highfly intends to post Alaina here, but she'll be aged from AFW so it won't be canon somewhat. Karen for example who met Alaina in AFW won't know this version.

This is the approach I would like.

Maybe in profiles, we can specify their relationship to AFW. Some examples would be-
-Does not rectify with AFW canon
-Still Competes At AFW
-Specific accolades they have achieved at AFW, but perhaps they don't recognise some feuds they had etc.

I feel like as long as the clarifications are there in some shape or form, and the poster is clear about their character's AFW history, it should be ok. I would hope that would make things less confusing for people.

I'm gonna edit Lea and Karen now, and Diana when I bring her across, hopefully it serves as a good example.

I like the whole stating it idea. I think it should be a different cannon unless otherwise stated. Personally i want a start over but i could totally understand why people wouldn't want their history lost in some cases.

I would suggest you guys make this an entirely separate canon.

Like, bring your AFW people over here if you want, but make it so that their afw past is just on afw and not here.

Maybe it's just me, but it seems like it would be...lazy, i guess, to just piggy back off your own work done at a different board rather than starting fresh. Not to mention the confusion if you plan on using a character on both boards, but want both to be canon to each other.

At the very least, make it clear that LAW, if it has to reside in the AFW Canon, is an entirely separate league of its own that characters fight in, but what happens in each board won't effect the other.
