Alright, I’ve caught up on the situation and would like to throw my own thoughts out there for a minute. Most of you will probably disagree with me and that’s fine, but just keep in mind the majority of you aren’t experiencing this personally so just take that into account. It’s absolutely going to be viewed as off topic, but I kinda feel it needs to be said in regards to all this talk of changes that need to be made.

Personally speaking, I became disillusioned with the belts and frankly LAW as a whole for quite some time. I think a large issue that also hasn’t been addressed is the fact that LAW itself also isn’t the most welcoming of places. For the sake of peoples’ privacy I won’t name any names, but I will be sharing my own experiences. When I first came to LAW, it was almost like the Wild West of wrestling forums. It started out pretty okay, but was still a bit unnerving as a lot of people had formed their own little clicks. I did find a few people to talk to, but they turned out to be major jerks that just did a full 180 and basically told me I didn’t belong in LAW and no one liked me. I found it difficult to fit in and eventually kind of felt pushed out as people I tried to talk to about this were either friends with the bullies or just didn’t care. Eventually I just stopped responding or talking in LAW all together because I felt as if I were either going to be ignored, bullied or have my head bitten off after announcing I no longer wanted to write NSFW with my characters as I had happen to me by a few people.

Fast forward to now, I decided to come back and give LAW a second chance, just to see how things were since I noticed a lot of change had been made and I’ll absolutely say there’s definitely been some progress made. With that being said, there still comes the issue of people just being completely ignored. I’ve once again found it difficult to message people as a lot of the time I’ll try to talk with people and not a single one of my messages have been acknowledged by the individuals I’ve been attempting to speak with. It’s gotten to the point that I’ve mentioned multiple times that I’m just about ready to pull my gals from LAW and just spectate, but honestly I’m about ready to give up on LAW all together. I’m not the only one who feels this way, there have been others that I’ve spoken to that are also talking about getting ready to jump ship or have already left before I even came back.

So in conclusion, before we start yelling about title belts and who did what, maybe it’s time to take a minute and check ourselves first. Because the last thing I want is for things to go back to how they were with the belts only being passed back and forth between certain groups and no one else gets a fair chance at them. On top of that, it’s not JUST Winner’s responsibility to keep the server honest, we have to hold each other accountable too. For people to say “Winner needs to do this” or “Winner needs to do that.” What else have YOU been doing to make LAW a better place? What ideas have YOU brought to the table to help with this process to make sure everyone feels included and like they’re being treated fairly? We’re a community, yes, I’ve preached to anyone who will listen that a community loves and dies by its admin’s team’s involvement. However, the same can also be said for the members of the community too. What have you done to make this place more appealing? What have you done to make people feel more welcomed? Yes we can go on and on and on about who holds the belts and who should give them up, but at the end of the day if people start to feel unwelcome and start leaving, who’s gonna be left to actually even care about the belts? Just something to keep in mind, that’s all I have to say about this.

I do not want to take too much time since I already went off about us having to wait for winner and all, but the fact you experienced something like that is absolutly abhauling to me. This should never happen. I can understand some conflicts arising with users being here for a long time, and as long as they keep it between themselves i do not give a flip, but someone coming in and experiencing that kind of shit is just horrible, not to mention I feel like it speaks to how things turned. When I entered the scene, law has been very welcoming to me, and even when I saw drops in that aspect, people persisted in saying newcomers are taken care off but having you come forward after some other people did that before i feel speaks to an actual issue going unaddressed, though I do not feel well informed enough to address it myself

AMEN
People like haveing a target to hang all their woes from but we are all just as responsible as members of the comunity for it staying healthy as the moderation is. The more we fight, the more we push eachother away and our comunity interactions aside from admin and the mods are as important to law being a healthy comunity
