Poll for Qualifiers

I decided not to vote because I am kind of in the middle. Qualifiers will slow things down a lot. So if Qualifiers were to be done, they should be started soon for the next tournament say around the start of November, even though the first round won't start until January. Otherwise, if we start it too late, we risk the chance of burning people out and getting tournament fatigue, which is something we should avoid.

Wouldn't Tournament fatigue be induced by the concurrency of tournaments? Starting them sooner is more overlap, and would have the next qualifier coincide with people's preparations for the PPV. And didn't you, yourself make this poll to start the next qualifiers during the middleweight finals?

Starting them sooner means people can take it at a slower pace and not be rushed to finish them. It also means they have more time to rest in between the qualifier and the first round. I made that poll to start the first round, though I can see how it can mean the qualifier, guess I did not word that well.

There is no hurry to start tournaments and rush through them. I've been saying it since I joined the site, but everyone needs to slow down the pace here.

There's no point in rushing to all the tournaments. That's what's going to give people tourney fatigue. Take your time and focus on building characters and relationships instead of WE GOT TO RUSH TO NEXT TOURNAMENT.

To clarify this point, maybe I haven't made this apparent enough. But the qualifiers and tournaments in general are currently only planned for the weighted belts.

Hardcore, Hentai, Losers and all other planned belts that aren't weight belts will not be introduced via tourneys. Except maybe tag, idk. We'll cross that bridge when we get to it.

I am in quite the agreement. I am not sure what the rush is for all the tournaments. Unless we are planning on closing shop anytime soon...which I hope we aren't. We could take a small break after the Middleweight Tournament and the champ has been crowned there. Maybe do some other event, like a fun PPV or the like, let people build up some stories. Then move into the Heavyweight or lightweight qualifiers a month or two after that. That is just my take, there shouldn't be a rush for these things.

We take the time that is needed to have fun, it's not like we need tournaments, or anything like that. If we need something for people to fight for, then what about just having people fight for being the face of the company for a while? Or face for the division, take the most proactive wrestlers of each weight class, put them up against each other in a fatal four way or any other potential idea there and have them fight it out? There are tons of fun ideas, hell we could even do a fair thing where you can vote for what characters you think should be put up for number one contender positions or something like that. Instead of just doing a tournament after tournament and rushing.

These are just random ideas on the top of a very tired mind's head. Though, I would say. Slow down, we are all just having fun. Let's have fun at a leisure like pace.
