History

Born from the union of a high born noble and a slave concubine, Khara of Tet grew up without her mother who died in childbirth after the father was exiled from the land due to a scandal. When old enough she was sold away from her mother's brothal and came into the possession of a merchant in the captial who had her worked for his second wife as a handmaiden. During her childhood, her mistress, despite being a bit vain treated her kindly yet firm enough as if she was her student. The mistress taught her much about Vari culture like its history and art.

Yet one day when Khara was just turned sixteen she caught one of the other young slaves poisoning the mistress, killing her in the process. Enraged she attacked the other slave and after a fierce struggle she beat him to a pulp. By the time the husband and the guards stormed into the room. Though saddened by the loss of one of his spouses, the merchant was most impressed with the servant’s fighting spirit and loyalty. Because of this, he had his chief bodyguard to train her as a gladiator for his profit, in exchange for her eventual freedom.

So Khara went through a harsh training regimental for the next few years until she was deemed ready at age twenty and sent to royal arena. There the girl barely survived the brutal tournament that followed and was only spared from death by a veteran warrior’s mercy. In the aftermath of that experience, Khara was freed from slavery by nomads during a raid on her master's caravan. Afterward she made her way around the realm, taking on the the profession of a pit fighter and an adventurer.



Physical Description

Khara has short dark straight hair that reaches her ears with amber eyes. Her olive skinned body is well-muscled but curvy in an attractive way. No longer a slave Khata is more loose than before as in clothing. Usually it can be a tan cloth wrapping over her chest and similar colored mini skirt. Though she could go bare chested as well even going full nude... During travels such as the deserts, she dons a traveling brown cloak


Personality: A woman of a strong will yet struggling with confused beliefs is what best describes Khata. Once she desired to become a full citizen of Tet maybe even a wealthy one. Yet having been a slave for all of her young life though has revealed to the young woman the less than prefect side of her homeland’s society that surrounded her. She views most nobility especially those from Tet with great suspicion and it takes a great deal to earn her full trust

She tries to come across as a refined young lady on most occasions. Upon entering combat however, that changes. The young Tetian becomes like a fierce lioness and fights as such despite her youth. Orginally Khata was a bit insecure about her lot in life until a period of confusion following freedom that is slowly but surely changing.


Abilities: As a trained gladiator, she is skilled in using dual short swords and archery. Her specialty and joy is hand to hand combat, a mixture of marital arts and wrestling. If able too she would prefer to defeat her rivals with her own two hands.

Beside fighting skills Khata of Tet is an excellent storyteller and enjoys some talent in painting. She has limited enhanced strength/self-healing from an encounter with a demoness. However, the latter aspect can be overwhelmed.
