Legend of the Warrior Princess: The Saga of Fang: Episode Two

The Traveler came at the Barbarian King. She seemed to have had a perfect shot at his back. However, the king swung his axe around. The Traveler barely had enough time to bring her sword up to absorb to blow.

She was sent flying across the room and hit a wall. She landed on the floor and slowly began to get up; grunting in pain from the blow.

The King turned his attention away from Oscar- allowing him a moment to rest and recover some energy thanks to the Traveler's intervention. With his eyes locked on the young woman, the king slowly walked forward and stared her up and down as he spoke.

"Aren't you the female warrior that my son took as his bride? What is a gem like yourself doing getting covered in muck- sticking her nose in a family dispute? You'll get one warning, woman, which I only offer because of the shame it would be to burn a body with curves like that to ash. Interfere with the boy's discipline and I'll see that he watches you die in unimaginable agony"

The Traveler managed to get to her feet, with her sword pulled up and ready for combat. As the Barbarian King threatened her to leave, she held her ground. She looked at Oscar briefly and nodded to him before turning her attention back to the Barbarian King.

"Yeah, last I checked." Fang responded, not only seeking to decline the offer given to her by the king, but to also take a jab at him, "Discipline didn't involve the parent beating their child. Only a coward would do that." She made herself ready for combat and whatever came next.

The king's eyes flashed with anger as the Traveler adressed him as a coward- his grip tightening on the enchanted axe.

"... So be it then"

Swinging the axe upward, the king attempted to bring the flaming weapon down onto the traveler- the fire around it burning brighter as the threatened to scorch the Traveler! Assuming the axe didn't kill her first...

The Traveller saw the king coming at her. She went to immediately dodge the attack. She could've tried to block the axe, but those flames would have gotten her if, in the best case scenario, she did manage to properly block the axe.

As she dodged out of the way of the attack, the Traveller moved in to take a swipe at the king's right leg with her sword.

The king's axe struck into the stone floor- the blade cracking the rock as he raised his leg to avoid the slash the traveler would attempt. Closing a hand to make a fist, the king would swing at the Traveler- attempting to hit her across the face with a closed backhand!

The Traveller missed her strike, after seeing his axe miss her and hit the ground. Seeing him attempt to backhand her, she ducked (as she did not have time to bring her sword up to block or slash at him) to avoid the avoid the attack. From there, she tried to bring her left knee up to hit him in the gut.

The kick connected to to the king's stomach as he whiffed the strike- earning a grunt as the Traveler's foot connected to what felt like armor under his robes. The king would grab the Traveler's leg and raise his axe- but before he could attempt to take her leg, Oscar made his presence know again by charging into his father and spearing him into a countertop- causing splinters to fly as the counter was demolished by the force of the impact!

The Traveller would feel leg being grabbed by the king, after her attempted kick failed. As the king was about to swing his axe at her, Oscar intervened and speared him into a countertop. The Traveller was able to regain her balance real quick and decided the next course of action was to ensure the king was disarmed of a formidable weapon.

She would rush in to try and knock the axe out of the king's grasp; so that fighting him would be easier.

As the Traveler rushed in to assist the prince, the king would let out a war cry and THROW Oscar clean across the kitchen- the prince rolling across the dining table before landing on the floor. With his focus on Oscar, the traveler would manage to disarm the distracted king- his axe sliding a few feet across the floor and its flames going out. Responding with a snarl, the king attempted and lunge forward- trying to grab onto the Traveler by her neck and lifting her up into the air. If successful, the king would try to choke slam the Traveler into the stone ground!
