Re: Legend of the Warrior Princess: The Saga of Fang: Episode Two
The Traveler nodded, smiling a bit at the dry humour. Now that it was made clear which direction she was meant to go, the Traveler led the group. First, she went back up the stairs, with her sword drawn in case there were any nearby guards to deal with; it was true that Oscar did dismiss a number, but there was always a good chance a few could be nearby.
After going up the stairs, she scouted the hallway, and motioned the group of prisoners to make that left turn. Once they moved straight through the hallway, they were close to the throne room.
Now it was time for Oscar's part to come in.

Re: Legend of the Warrior Princess: The Saga of Fang: Episode Two
Oscar followed behind the group as the Traveler led the way. The trip to the throne room was uneventful, thankfully. Oscar would gently move through the group of prisoners and stand up front with the Traveler.
"Father is powerful... very powerful. If we storm in there and fight, I worry about leaving the people unguarded"
Oscar looked back at the crowd, then back to the Traveler.
"... to ensure that everyone gets out in one piece, I'm going to try and lead him away from the throne room. When I do, push the throne from behind and the floor wile slide open. The siege tunnel will be right underneath it. Take the people and go. Don't look back"

The Traveler heard what Oscar said and considered it. He would be fighting a tough battle, but the prisoners could not be left alone in case anyone comes for them.
As such, she could only nod, agreeing to Oscar that the prisoners' safety was the primary concern. She stood back and let Oscar take the initiative in this situation.

Re: Legend of the Warrior Princess: The Saga of Fang: Episode Two
Oscar nodded back, acknowledging the Traveler back. He starred at her for a moment before taking a deep breath.
"... Thank you, Traveler. For opening my eyes and for helping a foolish Prince find his courage. I am in your dept for that and... I hope we can meet again, someday"
Oscar pushed the door opened and stepped inside, closing the door behind him. If the traveler listened closely, she'd hear muffled speaking from two different voices. It didn't take long for the sound of fighting to start as bellowed laughter was head right before the castle and the ground shook. The doors suddenly felt red-hot and wicks of fire seeped out from underneath the only thing separating the Traveler and the prisoners from whatever was going on in the throne room...

Re: Legend of the Warrior Princess: The Saga of Fang: Episode Two
"Hopefully we do." The Traveler said as Oscar would go on to confront his father in the throne room. The Traveler would have her sword at the ready as she could feel the heat and the fire beginning to sweep from underneath the door to the throne room. The good news was that Oscar was doing his part. The bad news was that the passage that was mentioned was in the throne room; which seemed to cut off their only possible escape route.
"Guess you didn't know about the fire stuff." The Traveler subtly muttered to herself as she tried to figure out what to do. She would turn back to the group of prisoners.
"Time is of the essence, keep up." The Traveler ushered to them, as she tried to lead them to hopefully another entrance into the throne room, so she could work on sneaking them out.

The traveler would find another entrance to the throne room, thankfully with no encounters, and would hear the sound of demolished brick coming from inside. The clashing of battle sounded like it was going farther and farther away from the throne room- likely what Oscar was hoping for.

Re: Legend of the Warrior Princess: The Saga of Fang: Episode Two
The Traveler was thankful that the battle was moving away from the throne room. However, she was feeling guilty about leaving Oscar on his own. Nevertheless, the Traveler focused her priorities on ensuring the prisoners get to safety. She entered the throne room first, which she noticed was on fire, but thankfully not enough were it posed a risk. She moved straight to the throne and pushed it.
That's when she saw it, the passage that was behind the throne; where Oscar said it would. Once she pushed the throne out of the way (just enough to allow access to the passage), the Traveler then said, "Alright, take this passage out. Don't stop until you are on the other side." She ushered to the prisoners to move. As the last couple of prisoners were about to enter, the Traveler decided not to follow.
"What about you, ma'am?" an older man said to the Traveler. The Traveler, turned her focus to the path of destruction, which could lead her to the fight Oscar was engaged in.
"I'm going to help Oscar." The Traveler responded, motioning the man into the passage, "Don't wait on me. Go!" Once the the prisoners were walking through the passage, the Traveler pushed the throne back to seal it up, so no one else could get through until she came back. She was planning to help out Oscar.
She ran and followed the path of destruction, which did set of the alarm. She encountered a few barbarians, but she was able to cut them down. She would soon find her way to where she was expecting Oscar to engage his father in combat.

Re: Legend of the Warrior Princess: The Saga of Fang: Episode Two
Pursuing the the trail of destruction that the prince and his father left, the traveler cut through the Barbarians that tried to either slow her down or were rushing to assist their king. It didn't take long to find the nobility as they were engaged in the dining hall. From what the Traveler could see, Oscar looked quite beat up- covered in cuts and bruises as he was being pressured by his father. The king looked practically untouched and was using a greataxe- possibility enchanted as the blades were engulfed in flames.
"I thought you would've improved since the last time you pulled this little stunt, boy. I have to say I'm disappointed"
The king mocked Oscar and swung the axe- but not at the prince. Swinging through the air, a fireball was shot from the weapon and flew at Oscar- who managed to dive out of the way as it exploded against the wall.
"Even without this new toy I'd have no problem squashing you like a bug. Ungrateful brat! You could have anything you ever wanted in these walls but noooo... instead of a powerful warrior my son had to be the lilly-livered, yellow-bellied bleeding heart!"
The king pursued Oscar with more harsh words spewing from his lips- not noticing the Traveler's presence yet.

Re: Legend of the Warrior Princess: The Saga of Fang: Episode Two
The Traveler navigated and fought her way through the stronghold to find Oscar and his father. Once she arrived, she saw what was going and now understood why Oscar's father was so dangerous. He had in his possession an axe with magical properties; which namely involved shooting fire. This wasn't good. She didn't deal with a whole lot of magic, but she was not going to turn tail now. Despite the terrifying power this being had, Oscar needed help.
Thankfully, Oscar's father did not seem to notice that the Traveler was there. Moving to sneak up on the Barbarian King, the Traveler moved in to strike at him.

Re: Legend of the Warrior Princess: The Saga of Fang: Episode Two
As the Barbarian King readied another strike towards Oscar, he paused for a moment as Fang attempted to sneak up on him from behind. As if he had eyes in the back of his head, the king spun around and attempted to slash the flaming axe horizontally at the Traveler!
