Demona vs. Sakura Haruno (D): Strikers Showdown

Demona had intended to try and illustrate their difference in strength here so she'd have more reason to surrender, but the girl proved to be every bit as powerful as she had been stubborn as she took this as a challenge. As such, she dug into the ground and began to rise as Demona struggled to hold her in place as she felt her leg rise along with the kunoichi's body.

Demona frowned as she showed a slight trace of irritation on an otherwise blank face, as she broke her leg off her back and swung it back with Demona's new aim to try and deliver a stiff kick right to her gut and kick her away.

Putting a shitload of effort into standing up, Sakura eventually forced Demona's foot off her and while Sakura didn't get to see it, she made a crack in Demona's stoic expression. Luckily for Sakura, she had a lifetime of experience with stoic people. Unluckily for Sakura, the moment she rose to her feet, Demona's knee smashed into Sakura's tout midriff. Ooghpff! Sakura exhaled painfully. However, Demona would not be able to retract her leg, because Sakura hooked her left arm around it after it connected with her body.

Have some back! Sakura would exclaim before sending a right uppercut into Demona's very well defined abs.

Demona had hoped that with that kick she could drain the fight out of Sakura; either work to build up a combo for her own secret weapon, or make the girl fall limp then and there. But even as her kicked rocked the kunoichi she would be annoyed as Sakura managed to endure the hit and strike back!

BAM!

Demona groaned as the air shot from her toned abs, air exited her lungs in full force as she was knocked back and tumbled on the ground. With an additional groan she worked to try and gut up quickly while she tried to get some of the air back as she rubbed her now sore abs.

Sakura pushed through the pain and endured the hard knee strike to her stomach in order to deliver a blow of her own to Demona's powerful belly, sinking her fist into the demon's body. This time Sakura's opponent could not maintain her cool exterior as the woman's breath was pushed out of her lungs and the force knocked the blonde away. You undoubtedly have powerful abs, but I've got a strong belly too! Sakura exclaimed confidently, although she was holding onto and rubbing her stomach as she felt the same amount of pain that her opponent was feeling. Sakura endured it just so she could return the blow.

Now the two women would just stare at each other, but instead of wasting time just staring, Sakura's hand on her stomach would start to glow green and the kunoichi would start healing her sore tummy.

Demona offered no verbal retort, but her usual unexpressive face had given way to a frown which was an equivalent to such. The sheer arrogance of this girl, a lucky blow here or there and she thinks she is free to talk trash? This had grown from annoying to aggravating, something reflected from her dark aura from Demona as her eyes stared daggers into the kunoichi.

Without a word spoken, Demona decided it was time to show this girl what she had gotten herself into. And in a blur, she vanished.

Demona charged at Sakura with blinding speed, and unleased a volley of punches with use of her normal and darkness fists as she aimed to try and pummel Sakura with a close-range multi-punch combo; one that aimed to try and overwhem her with a barrage of blows and if she could get consecutive hits to hit work to establish a frightening ability she had on hand...

The two women stared each other down, firing glares that screamed ''I wanna beat you''
Sakura healed what little she could before Demona rushed her with high velocity, throwing out punches at the kunoichi, who wanted to settle this from up close and personal, but the demon was clearly taking the initiative.

Using her training, Sakura was able to dodge the initial blows.
However, the strikes became more ferocious with time and no longer possible to simply dodge. she had to block. NNhh! Ghhh! Sakura groaned as Demona's fists bombarded her arms and body, until a couple of strikes landed on her breast and belly before knocking her away with a punch to the face. Khyahh!

Demona's punches began to land with a furry, as the human proved nimble and had sharp reactions but she sheer number of punches and their intensity were too much for her to avoid all of them. Sakura was nailed with a couple of blows as Sakura had been sent flying back, but Demona was far from done as now that she had a pair of consecutive blows she aimed to build on her momentum and worked to sync in her frightening ability...

Demona charged on and aimed to try to kick Sakura right in the gut to knock her in the air, if she had been successful with this she would follow with a punch to her gut in mid air as each blow if they managed to land would pack more power than the last.

After being struck across the face, Sakura went falling backwards, but before the kunoichi could even hit the ground, the demon woman just punted her in the gut, launching her in the air. Ghugh! Sakura grunted, having her abs take the blow that was pretty heavy. In the corner of her eye, Sakura noticed Demona leaping straight after her.

Sakura stabilized herself mid air and for a split second they were face to face. Now it was the time to put this woman in her place and just in that moment Sakura went to punch Demona's lights out, but the latter dodged to the side and threw a very stiff left upwards into Sakura's belly.

Ghuaaackhh! This was a more powerful blow than any of Demona's previous strikes, drilling deep into Sakura's core and pushing all the air out of her. The shockwave of the blow even went out Sakura's back.

If there was nothing more to follow up after that, Sakura would slowly fall to the ground and on her knees, holding onto her battered stomach with a pained expression on her face.

Demona managed to down the kunoichi, as the air was driven from her gut and she was left stunned and staggered on the ground below. This greater sense of control allowed Demona's expression to return to its usual blank if not disinterested one.

The demon would walk by the ninja's head as she aimed to finish this in one go, maybe a knockout would get her to stop as she raised her right foot and raised it over Sakura's head. Without warning she aimed to drop it down as she tried to drive a curb stomp to try and slam Sakura's face into the ground which she hoped would knock the fight and knock her out of it then and there.

Sakura was holding onto her hurting belly and wincing at her opponent, who descended and was approaching to lay down the beating, no doubt. Her stomach still hurt, but she was mentally preparing to do something about the incoming attacks.

And when demons got close, then it came, the kick hammering down on the kunoichis head.
Sakura quickly crossed her arms above her head to block the incoming attack.
"Gghhrrr!" The power of the kick was immense and sakura would struggle against it for a few moments. "Did you think I was done for?!" Sakura would roar out and if she was given another moment or two, she would sweep kick demona off her feet before smashing her into the ground with a punch to her torso.
