Sirya vs. Long Shin

Despite Long crying for Sirya to stay still, the panther girl wasn't interested in bowing to his demands. She knew full well that he was the larger and stronger of the two combatants, and she was relying on her own mobility to avoid coming under fire from that. So far, that was working out all right for her. Sirya was used to being the underdog and fighting against the odds, and she'd perfected the different tricks she would need to achieve that end. Among those tactics, she was able to fight on the ground if she needed to, and among those times was now. She'd have to stay on all fours for now to ride things out, but Sirya had no trouble adjusting to her position.

To her pleasant surprise, the kick she had aimed at Long's ankle worked, as her foe doubled over in pain from the shot. Sirya wasn't expecting such a seemingly minor attack to do much more than buy herself time, but this was even better, and she would be happy to accept it nonetheless. Her grin spreading wider, Sirya went to capitalize on Long's stunned state by closing in on him, hoping to lock her legs around his head as he curled up on the ground and squeeze them around her throat!

While trying to nurse his ankle injury, Long wasn't aware of what Sirya was trying to do. Before he knew it though, Sirya was on the ground with him and trying to set him up for a head scissors hold! Long was generally surprised that this girl would know of such a hold in the first place as this is probably something you don't see that often in the forest. He was too slow to prevent the lock and now Sirya's legs were around his throat! His basic instincts kicked in and he put both hands on her thighs to try and spread them apart. His air was starting to get cut off though and he quickly realized that he was in a very bad spot.

"Let... Go! Long said to her as his feet started to kick away at the dirt below. He then started to rock his body back and forth to try and throw her off of him, but that wasn't working. Long knew that his hand strength had now match for her leg strength so he needed to think up a new strategy and quick! If he could just turn himself over to his belly, he could probably power out of it that way, but would he have enough to do so? Using his arms as leverage now, Long would try to push his body to one side and hopefully flip them both over.

In some ways, Sirya had to train herself. The Panthers had some knowledge of martial arts, as any warrior culture would, but Sirya had needed to work to develop her own fighting skills in order to stand a chance against the wild beasts of the forest. And that included being able to know where the vulnerable places to strike were and how she could use every part of her body to get at them. In any case, this was what she was doing to Long now, as she got her legs around his neck and squeezed to hold off his airways.

Even as the tiger man started to rock in place, Sirya tried to hold on. She clenched her teeth and hissed under her breath in frustration, refusing to give in. But after some effort, Long did manage to flip the two of them over, rolling Sirya onto her stomach. "Nngh..?" she muttered. Here, the flip side of her fighting style came into play. When she had trained herself to fight animals, she wasn't as knowledgeable about how a humanoid opponent could counter her moves - and she didn't know what Long was doing, or what he had planned next!

Seeing that after some time has passed, Long's long game was beginning to work and he was able to rock them both to the point where he could flip her over. Now that gravity was working for him instead of against him, Long would be able to counter this hold. First thing Long did was get onto all fours and then jump up a bit to put both feet down on the forest floor below. Now on his hands and feet, Long would take a couple of small hops to get in the correct position before taking a giant leap forward. Sirya's legs would work against her now as Long would front flip over her body and land with his back on top of the back of her head and his feet now up and over, landing on the ground over her head.

What looks like a modified Boston Crab, Long would reach back with both hands and hold onto her ankles. Sirya would no longer be able to squeeze his neck now since she was in such a compromising position and her back and legs must be killing her right now! "You want to play with submissions little girl? I know a couple of my own!" He would say as a smirk would appear across his face.

The tables had turned on Sirya, as now the opponent she was trying to keep her hold onto beneath her was refusing to sit still. Long pushed himself off the ground, bobbing up and down, and with Sirya not being the heaviest of people, she would soon find herself shaken. "Whoah, whoah! Hey-!" she called out as her body swung through the air, trying against all hope to hang on, but the leverage of their respective positions wasn't in Sirya's favor. Before long, the tiger man flung himself back through the air, smacking Sirya into the ground with a thud as Long came down atop her.

The girl shuddered and groaned from the weight pinning her down, trying to shake her head out of the groggy haze of the impact. But it was only going to get worse as Long took her by the legs, bending them backward and putting the torque on her spine! Sirya cried out from the pain, doing her best to twist herself away. But now the fact that Sirya wasn't as physically strong as her foe was starting to become apparent.

"Well now, seems like the shoe is on the other foot huh?" He would comment as Long looked over the right side of his body to his down foe. Long's bulkier frame made it even harder for Sirya to get any sort of relief from this hold she was currently in. The only problem with this hold is the awkward position his own body was in. Long needed to keep his body parallel to Sirya's in order to get enough leverage on the hold and keep the pain on her. Too little and Sirya would feel little to no pain and too much would result in bending Sirya to a debilitating point and Long didn't want to kill her.

With Long's feet on the forest floor, he could feel the ground shift and move with the soft soil. This was becoming an issue as his feet would slide every now and then and he would have to correct it each time. The only thing he could hope for now was for Sirya to give up and beg him to let her go before the ground beneath his feet betray him enough that he can't keep the hold on any longer. "Just give up now and save yourself from further injury!" He would yell out to her.

Sirya was definitely in a tricky situation here. She wanted to struggle, to do whatever she could to pull away from Long and his torturous embrace. But all that was serving was to bend her spine further into positions it was never meant to be bent in, and she groaned louder in pain. What made matters worse, though, was the fact that Long was taunting her about it, demanding for her to give up. Sirya clenched her teeth, trying to bear through it. It hurt, for sure. But the last thing she wanted was to give him the satisfaction of a surrender, especially when that was exactly what she was expecting her to do.

But there was a bright light at the end of the tunnel for Sirya. She could feel his position shifting and jerking the more she fought it, his feet evidently less suited to the softness of the forest floor than her own were. If she could just last it out, she thought, she might be able to force him to let go, and maybe even get him to lose his balance in the process. It would be a hard bargain, and it wouldn't be the friendliest to her spine, but Sirya was confident in it. It was better than surrender, at any rate. She let her struggles die down to just what was necessary to grind Long's feet up against the slickness of the grassy surface beneath his feet, hoping to thus conserve energy and avoid hurting herself further. "Yer...the only one who's gonna get hurt here-!" she shouted back.

"Oh is that right? Quite some tough talk for a girl that can barely move right now." He would say back to her as he noticed that her movements have died down. He took this as that she was finally realizing that she was dealing with a losing fight at this point and was going to tap out or yell that she gave up at any minute now. Although, Long was hoping she would do it right now as his feet seem to be going all over the place now. "Come on... Just hold on a little longer!" He would tell himself as he strained to keep the hold on.

It would appear though, that Sirya was a lot more resilient than Long gave her credit for. If it wasn't for this damn forest floor, he could of held onto this hold for much longer, but it just wasn't meant to be. His feet finally gave out and slipped to a point of no recovery. "D-Dammit!" He would yell out as he lost grip of both of her ankles and slid down and off of her body.

While Long was perceptive enough to notice Sirya's struggles dying down, the girl wasn't coming closer to defeat. Quite the opposite, in fact - she was waiting on her chance for a second wind, preventing herself from putting any more strain on herself than necessary. She just wanted to move enough to turn the slippery surface of the ground to her advantage. And in time that was just what happened, as Long finally gave way, slipping off of her.

Now it was Sirya's chance. Her legs and back were still aching, and she winced even as she straightened herself out. It would take some time for her to come back to her senses after that. But if Long was down, she had bought herself some time - and she had full intentions of using that. She growled at Long, her teeth clenched as she stared him down with narrowed eyes. Hoping that she could keep Long stunned as long as she could, Sirya propped herself back up on her hands, using her elbow to support herself against the ground, and aimed a kick back for his face. If it hit, she would then plan on scrambling around to get behind his back and pin his wrist between his shoulderblades with a hammerlock.

With his submission hold broken, Sirya was free to go on the offensive against Long. She also had the upper hand at this point since Long fell onto his back while slipping off of her body. As Long tried to recover though, he felt a sharp pain on the side of his face. The only thing he could see was a blur of a foot in his peripheral vision before things went black.

When Long started to come to, he couldn't see Sirya any more. "Where... Where did she go?" His question would get answered by a weight pressing down on his back and his arms beginning to move on their own. "W-what the!?" He would shout out as the pain began to take hold in his arms. "Gaaahhhh!!! Get off of me!" Long began to struggle around underneath her as she applied the hammerlock to him!
