Re: Ringside City Showdown: Hellcat & Tempest VS. Bengal
As Hellcat charged in behind the flaming truck, Tempest saw the opening instantly. She didn’t go for a flashy one-on-one strike—Hellcat already had the frontal assault covered. Instead, Tempest angled to cut off Bengal’s escape routes and force her into the perfect position for Hellcat’s combo. Tempest was preparing to follow up with another strike when she saw the flaming debris hurling towards innocent bystanders, only to be tossed back in a coalossal volley between the raging powerhouses. She knew if she didn't act quickly, someone was going to be seriously hurt, and she'd rather it be one of them than a civilian.
Tempest quickly rushed over to the fleeing civilians and grabbed the attention of one of the officers. Her eyes darted around for any tool, something she could use while Hellcat kept Bengal occupied. Tempest spied the street lamps, still flickering as Tempest's aura continued to interfere with them, an that was when an idea struck, She placed her hand on one of the poles and created a strobe like effect that cascaded down the lines, leading the civilians away from the fighting. "Grab everyone you can and follow these lights! It'll take you to safety," Tempest ordered, her eyes never leaving Bengal and Hellcat lest they drift towards the bystanders making their hasty escape.
Once Tempest saw that Hellcat was moving in for a few blows of her own, Tempest immediately began scanning the area to see where her next angle of attack might be. Surely the front was already handled by Hellcat, she would just overcrowd a lane that was already visible as it. Tempest peered down at her gauntlets, still fizzling with energy. She needed to control the space and lock it down, limiting how much room Bengal had to move. Without wasting another moment, Tempest turned and charged, getting back into the fray!
If she wanted to shut down Bengal right away, the best shot she had at achieving that would be to set up Hellcat. It was obvious with her surge in power that she could be a frenzied force to reckon with. If tempest could just channel that energy, the power would be amplified exponentially and make this fight much easier. A few major strides behind Hellcat, Tempest figured she'd could get behind and restrain Bengal, that would leave her front side completely open to Hellcat's onslaught. She repeated mentally her three step process, each step crackling as she reached her charged state. Once she reached her third bounce in her stride, she catapulted herself upwards and over the two fighters as they clashed, unaware if they were making blows and connecting or not. All she knew was what she needed to do.
Once she landed behind Bengal, she quickly turned around and bumped her fists together, turning herself into a static battery ready to deliver a shock on contact! She only had enough time to anticipate Hellcat's attack landing, hopefully with enough gusto and force to knock the would be thief into Tempest's waiting arms, where she'd catch her and briefly immobilize her to so that Hellcat could continue her flurry of strikes!

Re: Ringside City Showdown: Hellcat & Tempest VS. Bengal
Bengal scowled as Hellcat stopped the truck in its tracks, hoisting the burning vehicle above her head. The luchadora had activated her Champion Mode, given her the extra speed and strength she needed to protect the crowd. Glowing stripes wound around her arms as she flexed her biceps, hurling her payload right back where it had come from.
The Tiger wasn't in the mood for playing catch, however. Instead, she threw both her arms upward, sending an X-shaped grid of incandescent energy sweeping from the tips of her fingernails and into the air. "Blaze...BARRAGE!" she roared, using the words as a mantra to focus her power. Above her, the superheated blades diced the truck into pieces, as if it had been caught inside a giant food processor. The vehicle's gas tank exploded, littering the street with wreckage and choking the air with smoke.
"Using your Champion Mode already, Smell-Cat?" Bengal called tauntingly into the dark cloud. "You must really be scared of me!" She peered into the gloom, searching for her opponent but not even her super-sharp senses could penetrate the thick smog. "Come on out...I won't hurt y- UGH!" Her mockery came to an abrupt end as the masked hero shot out of the billowing smoke, driving her fist into the Tiger's gut! Bengal doubled over, sputtering. Spittle spray from her mouth as she wheezed with pain, hissing onto the hot pavement at her feet. Even through her fireproof skin, the Tiger could feel the warmth of Hellcat's clenched fingers.
But then again, that was the drawback of the luchadora's power as well. Her Champion Mode was a double-edged sword. The longer she used it, the greater the risk that she would overheat and exhaust her body. Bengal knew this from their last bout, and she had a plan to deal with it. Instead of trying to retaliate immediately, she danced backward, dodging Hellcat's attempt at a follow-up uppercut. She continued to fight defensively, backpedaling away from the masked figure, evading or blocking instead of engaging. Her rival couldn't keep this up forever, and once her fire faded, Bengal would move in for the kill.
That was her plan, anyway. But she never got the chance. The Tiger hadn't counted on Tempest moving into position behind her, an electrified barrier standing firmly in her path. Not knowing the other hero was even there, the super-thief blundered into her, showing none of the catlike grace she was normally so proud of. Tempest's bare arms snapped shut around her ribs like the jaws of a trap, aggravating the damage from Hellcat's punch. Bengal flailed her arms and swore, trying to free herself. But the current flowing through her body forced her muscles to spasm uncontrollably, making it difficult for her to coordinate her motions - and nearly impossible for her to block Hellcat's next attack.

Re: Ringside City Showdown: Hellcat & Tempest VS. Bengal
Hellcat Was starting to feel things heating up, literally her body was raising tempture ever so quickly right now she was hot enough she could probably left a burn mark in most things she touch so she needed to keep the presure on Bengal and subdue her before Hellcat beggins to get a heatstroke from her own power she was still a little bit of a rookie with this power but she would let that stop her looking to hit Bengal again but the tiger was deploying the same strat that she used when they fought the firts time. She was gonna play the long game and Let Hellcat burn herself out like she was a wax candle slowly being consumed by her own flame till she was nothing but a splash on the floor, Hellcat notice that and try to think of how to close the distance with Bengal but thats when she notice the tiger slowly and unkowingly backing away towards tempest, so Hellcat would simply smirk and cross her arms as Bengal back herself into a SHOCKING Trap.
Once Bengal was caught by Tempest and her muscles began to spasm due to the imense ammount of energy and electricity running trought her body, Hellcat would began her second assault, she approach Bengal with her arms raised in a boxing stance and began to trow hooks and jabs trought all of the thief body, gut, face, ribs it didnt matter where, Hellcat would unleash a heat up storm of attack towards Bengal, each one beggining to leave some smoke from every impact but Hellcat would began to drop sweat onto the floor, the Luchador knowing she needed to end this thing fast so she could turn off her champion mode.
She would look to end her string of attacks by grabbing onto Bengals throat and wrapping her finger around her neck, looking at the fire tiger and with a firm and serious tone
"Give up Bengal, we both Know i will continue to heat up and considering how much you love your own voice i dont think you would like me to fry your vocal cords so surrender and ill let go"
Hellcat voice was one of stoicism and justice, she didnt want to go as far as to permanetly Hurt bengal so Hellcat Threat fealt more like a bluff tho due to the danger that Bengal proved to everyone she needed to be stop now and Hellcat Knew she was slowly burning out, she could already feel her head burning with a massive fever but she would do her best to hide it and just hold onto Bengal neck hopping that this improvised submission would get Bengal to give up before Hellcat had to turn off her power.

Re: Ringside City Showdown: Hellcat & Tempest VS. Bengal
Tempest locked her arms around Bengal's ribs like a vice, bracing herself against the flurry of the tiger writhing and clawing against her hold. Every struggle and slip forced another moment of a painful current coursing through Bengal's body, the spasms betraying her body as she was trapped. Sparks danced between the two tangled characters, flashing colors and shadows against the wall like a monstrous light show. As the civilians filed out of the battle arena and fled, the light show looked more like a lopsided beat down as the dueted Hellcat and Tempest were thoroughly handling Bengal.
As Bengal went from one salvo to another, this time under assault from Hellcat, Tempest can finally step back and admire Hellcat's work. This was the first time they crossed paths, but Tempest was more than eager to be acquainted with her new partner. Her Champion Mode blazed bright — maybe too bright. Tempest saw it in the way her shoulders trembled, the sheen of sweat dripping down her mask. The fire could burn Bengal out…but it could burn Hellcat down just as fast. Tempest stepped into frame beside her partner, arms folded across her chest, expression carved from stone. She didn’t interfere, she didn’t need to. This wasn’t her hold, this was Hellcat’s fight to close.
“Listen to her, Bengal,” Tempest said flatly, her voice steady as rolling thunder. “That fire in her hands? It’s not a bluff. I can feel it from here. You won’t claw your way out of this one.”
Her eyes flicked to Hellcat, giving the faintest nod, a single caption box waiting to be stamped across the panel:
“Hold firm. Don’t falter. She’s already beaten.”
Where Hellcat was the flame burning hot, Tempest was the storm that made the moment inevitable — her stoic presence anchoring the drama, turning a simple choke into the kind of scene that belonged across a double-page spread.

Re: Ringside City Showdown: Hellcat & Tempest VS. Bengal
As Hellcat's searing fingers dug deeper into Bengal's throat, the luchadora became aware of a strange noise escaping from the super-thief's mouth. It sounded like the whistle of a teakettle, mixed with an engine backfiring. Was it the Tiger, struggling to breathe? Or perhaps Tempest was correct, and the villain was ready to surrender? No, that couldn't be it; the noise escaping from her mouth was too loud to be breathing, yet too rhythmic and repetitive to be speech. Suddenly, with a jolt like they'd been plunged into icy water, the two heroes realized what was happening. Bengal was laughing.
"Ha...Haha!" she chuckled weakly. Her teeth clenched into a manic, skeletal grin, as she fought to get the words out through the pressure crushing her windpipe. "You stupid little kittens...think you're so tough..." Bengal's eyes rolled back white, then began to glow, until they looked like a pair of dwarf stars set inside her skull. "Get ready...here comes the punchline!" The luminous aura spread to her hair, causing it to ripple upward, as if it had been caught by a rising thermal. The stripes on her side lit up as well, each of them as clear and bright as a neon sign. A moment later, a nova of pure light and heat erupted from her body, forcing her opponents back. It was fortunate that the heroes had already helped to evacuate the street; if any civilians had remained in the area, the overwhelming radiance could have blinded them.
Hellcat and Tempest were very nearly blinded themselves. The two heroes staggered backward, squinting against the glare, like bats forced out of their cave into the daylight. It took a few seconds for them to regain their bearings. When they did, the Tiger was standing in the same spot, but the street around her had been transformed. Melted by the sudden heat, then flash-cooled by the air rushing out from the explosion, the molten asphalt had solidified into a series of cresting waves.
Bengal herself had changed as well. Her once-amber eyes were now an icy shade of blue, and her raven hair had suddenly gone pale, as if she'd aged prematurely. The orange in her outfit was likewise gone, replaced with stark white. Had she actually switched clothes, or was this some property of her costume, causing its color to alter when heated? Hellcat and Tempest couldn't be sure. The only thing they knew right now was that this fight wasn't over - not by a long shot.
"You like my new look?" Bengal drawled. She held up the back of her hand, as if showing off a new manicure, and the heroes could see that her nails were glowing white-hot as well. "I didn't use it for the bank job. Didn't want to burn the whole place down. But now...this is more my color, wouldn't you say?" The Tiger bent down and picked up a smoking chunk of asphalt from the street, then crushed it to powder in her grip. "And the best part is," she continued, straightening again with an arrogant smirk, "I can actually keep this up for longer than five minutes. Unlike some people here." Her eyes turned toward Hellcat, flushed and drenched with sweat from the strain of her Champion Mode, and her hungry smile grew wider.
"Come on, take your best shot," the Tiger taunted. She crooked her gleaming white claws at her opponents, daring them to attack. "After all..." her voice shifted into an overly serious deadpan, mocking Tempest's delivery. "She's already beaten...isn't that right?"

Re: Ringside City Showdown: Hellcat & Tempest VS. Bengal
Hellcat was already starting to feel the strain from her champion mode, the luchadora`s shoulder trembling slighty and her face full of sweet yet she keep her firm face waiting to hear Bengal plead to be release as Tempest got next to the luchadora and share some words of encorugment to her so that she could hold on a little bit longer.
But their conversation would be cut short by Bengal sudden laugh, looking like a compleate maniac Hellcat saw how her eyes went to the back of her head before glowing with an evil aura, Hellcat tried to understand what was she doing but it was too late as the blast from the sudden transformation pushed both heroes back a few feet, Hellcat would be the firts to get up and as she rubbed her eyes trying to aliviate the pain she was feeling from that blidning light she would see that Bengal also had an ace up her sleeve, Her whole outfit and hair turning white it looked like the Tiger had gained a massive boost and she made sure the heroes knew of that.
"Bleach your hair and outfit all you want, i still got an ass wopping with your name on it"
Hellcat said to Bengal, all the while charing at the tiger at insane speed and looking to land a jab at Bengal`s ribs but as the punch connected Bengal would feel that it was significanly less powerfull that the strike that Hellcat deliver a few minutes early, the luchadora standing still for a few seconds her fist still on the side of bengal`s body, taking deep and heavy breathes as the firely light from her began to die out and her orange stripes began to fade into steam.
"(huff) you....are not (huff) getting away...a second time"
Hellcat said as her champion mode had died out leaving just a sweaty and bright red Hellcat in its place, she could feel the effects of having used her power for too long her body was bassically on fire and she could barely land the punch, taking a few steps back Hellcat would raise her fist and look to aim another weak looking punch to the side of Bengal face.
Hellcat was know for one thing and that was never knewing when to call it quits, even if her head was boiling with a fever and her muscles strain from the power of her mask she still wouldnt back down not while the villain still stood, she couldnt allow Bengal to escape again.

Re: Ringside City Showdown: Hellcat & Tempest VS. Bengal
Bengal's charge up caught Tempest completely off guard, the sudden burst of energy blasting Tempest off her feet before she could brace for it. Tempest was thrown across the pavement, her body crashing into a twisted streetlamp with a metallic clang that rattled her bones. Sparks scattered on impact, her vision swimming as she slid down the warped pole and dropped to one knee on the cracked asphalt. It took a few moments for the world to come back into focus, and even then the perimeter of her vision was still blurred.
When the light finally dimmed, Tempest forced herself upright, her chest rising slow and steady as her boots found their balance again. Across the ruined street, Bengal stood renewed — hair pale, eyes icy, her very presence burning with a cruel, mocking energy. But it wasn’t Bengal that Tempest’s gaze settled on first. It was Hellcat, her body trembling, Champion Mode bleeding off her frame in fading wisps of steam. The strikes she threw now were weaker, her shoulders slumped with exhaustion, but her fists were still raised, her fire refusing to be smothered. Tempest studied her in silence, her jaw tightening just slightly. The luchadora was at her limit, but she hadn’t bent. That mattered more than any glow Bengal could conjure.
Bengal sneered and threw her words like daggers, mocking Tempest’s calm, mocking Hellcat’s fatigue, spitting back the phrase she had spoken only moments ago. Next time I need to come up with something more clever Tempest thought to herself. The seemingly out of place side note helped ease the moment, breaking the tension and allowing Tempest to refocus. Once she had her reply, Tempest’s answer was as flat as stone, her tone carrying through the smoke and molten haze without need for force. “Already beaten? No. She’s still standing. That’s more than you can say.”
Hellcat was fighting from the front but it was easy to see her determination and heart was the only thing keeping her in the fight for now, and without any strength to keep pushing, She'd surely get hurt. Tempest knew she had to do something and fast. She shifted her weight and tried to dart behind the radiant thief. Each step driven into the earth as she turned and altered her course, charging like a battering ram right towards Bengal. She would attempt to drive her shoulder into Bengal's back, hoping Hellcat could keep her distracted long enough so Tempest could follow up and finish the fight.

Re: Ringside City Showdown: Hellcat & Tempest VS. Bengal
Hellcat fell for the bait, launching a jab at Bengal’s jaw. But her Champion Mode faded mid-strike, robbing the punch of its power. The Tiger caught the blow easily, digging her white-hot nails into the back of the luchadora’s hand. Her nostrils flared, drawing in the cloud of steam that wreathed them both, as if she was savoring the smell of a freshly-baked meal.
“Who said anything about ‘getting away’?” the super-thief fired back, leering. Hellcat’s fist quavered in her grip like a dying bird as she began to squeeze, trapping her opponent in place. “I’ve got you exactly where I want you!” Her other hand shot up and seized the luchadora’s bicep. Then she twisted around and dropped backward, smashing Hellcat into the street with an arm drag! Chunks of asphalt flew out from the impact zone, ricocheting like bullets off the surrounding vehicles, and setting off a dissonant chorus of car alarms.
Bengal released a burst of hot air from her spine, pushing herself back onto her feet without using her arms or legs. It was a neat trick to show off, but unfortunately, there was no one left on the street to appreciate it. The civilians had all fled, Hellcat was barely conscious, and Tempest…where had Tempest gone, anyway? The super-thief shook her head dismissively, her snow-white hair billowing around her head. She didn’t need to worry about that right now. The newbie “hero” had probably just gotten cold feet, and left to pursue a less dangerous line of work.
She re-focused her attention on Hellcat, looming over the fallen fighter with her hands placed imperiously on her hips. “Looks like you’re 0 for 2, LOSER-dora,” she quipped, raising one striped boot like an executioner’s axe. “Next time you hear my name on the police scanner, do yourself a favor…and stay home!”
Her foot plummeted down, preparing to stomp Hellcat even deeper into the crater where she lay. But it never reached its destination. The instant before the blow connected, something rammed into the Tiger’s back, knocking her onto her hands and knees. She slid for several yards across the asphalt, leaving her hands raw and tearing her flame-patterned kneepads to shreds. Craning her neck to look behind herself, she saw Tempest, standing over the luchadora with a concerned expression.
“Attacking from behind? Not very heroic of you,” Bengal spat at the black-clad fighter. She dug her claws into the street, pulling up a handful of gravel. As her fingers closed around the jagged rocks, they began to shimmer with heat. “Maybe you’d be better off doing what I do. Too bad for you, I’m not looking for a sidekick!” She whipped her hand back, sending out another burst of air as she did so. The crushed asphalt rocketed from her hand, like a superheated shotgun blast, aimed directly at Tempest's face!

Re: Ringside City Showdown: Hellcat & Tempest VS. Bengal
Hellcat was in a Bad spot, her fist had just been caught by Bengal who looked like she was enjoying seeing Hellcat this weak and powerless, the luchadora grunting and letting out a soft scream as bengal squeezed on her hands to keep her in place and began to taunt Hellcat her expresión one of anger but also barely able to keep her eyes open due to the intense amount of strain using champion mode did to her.
Bengal knew This and continued to downplay the luchadora by easily grabbing onto her bícep and performing an arm drag to slam Hellcat right onto the street as asphalt flew all around the área, Hellcat lifiting her spine up a few seconds off the ground before getting back down her eyes barely Open and her ears ringing so much that she could barely heard what Bengal was saying, something about 0 to 2 but what Hellcat couldnt hear she saw as Bengal lifted her leg up and was looking to squish Hellcat head like a watermelon, Hellcat closing her eyes reading herself for the impact but after a few seconds of nothing she Open her eyes to see Tempest standing next to her with a worried look and slighty lifiting her head up she saw that Bengal was a few steps away dazed and and angry, Hellcat then saw how Bengal grab some pieces from the street and super heated them to trow them as if she we're a handmade Shotgun, Hellcat quickly standing and getting infront of Tempest who was too distracted trying to check the damage on Hellcat and the luchadora despite their short meeting didnt want the thunder gal to suffer some 3rd degree burns so she got in front of her and tanked the blast, thanks to Hellcat natural heat resistence that burn was as Bad as it would have been on Tempest but it was still Bad, Hellcat's arm being left with red Marks from the pelets but Hellcat tried to play it off, dropping her guard and smirking ar Bengal before turning around to Tempest
"Hey ms lightning bolt, listen i need You to Buy me some time to recharge, so listen to this i may not know You but i can tell You got a good heart and i can tell You are strong as well.... So make sure Bengal doesnt escape this place.... I trust You Will do well"
Hellcat said in a soft and tired voice almost like she wanted to share some wisdom to Tempest and as she said this Hellcat would fall foward onto the ground and close her eyes falling uncouncious and leaving her out of the fight for the moment so now all the fighting would be up to Tempest who Hellcat belived in.

Re: Ringside City Showdown: Hellcat & Tempest VS. Bengal
Tempest’s arms shot up just in time, summoning a shimmering shield of crackling electricity that hummed with raw power. The superheated gravel slammed into the barrier, erupting in showers of sparks and sizzling shards that danced in the smoky haze. The energy crackled fiercely, lighting the battleground with bursts of blue-white light.
Her gaze immediately snapped to Hellcat as the blast sent the luchadora sprawling backward, collapsing hard onto the scorched asphalt. Tempest’s heart clenched at the sight. Without hesitation, she dropped to her knees beside her fallen partner, hands moving quickly but gently to check for injuries—steady breath, pulse racing but alive. A flicker of relief mixed with fierce determination flashed in her eyes. Hellcat was down, but not out.
Pressing a reassuring hand to Hellcat’s shoulder, Tempest whispered, “Stay with me. I’ll hold this line.” Rising swiftly, she locked eyes on Bengal, who was already stirring, claws extended, menace radiating from every move.
Electricity danced along Tempest’s arms as she propelled herself forward with powerful, fluid strides, each step striking the cracked pavement like thunder. Her fingers tingled with static, ready to unleash a massive burst of energy. Every muscle coiled like a storm about to break loose.
Breathing steady and voice firm, she vowed, “Nobody gets through me—not while I’m standing.” Tempest's strides thundered throughout the night as she dug her feet into the hard earth on the last stride, leaping into the air and torpedoing her body straight towards Bengal, feet together and pointed straight at Bengal's chest for a diving kick.
