Tina Armstrong vs Mighty Yukiko

Yukiko's back might have stung after that kick, but she wasn't going to lie there as she heard the sound of something spring off the ropes followed by the youthful shout of a flying Tina!

She was still reeling, and as such couldn't roll out of the way, but she had enough sense to put her knees up, a simple change of position that would make this rookie's landing a very... very rough one.

Tina's leap was perfect, her spin fluid. She and Yukiko were very much alike in that they were balanced. Tina had a bit more of a power bend, while Yukiko was known for flying. Tina's chance to show off that she was no slouch in that department was going swimmingly.

Until the landing.

Tina landed right down on Yukiko's knees and her ribcage surged with pain! She groaned in agony as she rolled off Yukiko, laying on her back grimacing in pain. She kicked the mat and cradled her very badly hurting ribs as she had lost the momentum with a simple but effective counter by the Mighty One!

Yukiko would grunt a little from the impact of Tina Armstrong's frame crashing down across her knees, but she knew her slight discomfort had to be nothing compared to the pain Tina Armstrong was feeling! Yukiko would roll over to the ropes, grabbing them and slowly working her way up to her feet. This match wasn't going to be an easy one, but that only peaked Yukiko's interest!

Finally working her way up, Yukiko would look over to Tina, hoping that the young lion was only just starting up! Waiting for the protege of the Amazon to turn around, Yukiko would run forward and outstretch her arm, jumping into the air and doing a spin to try and hit a move she had just added to her arsenal... a sling blade!

Tina groaned as she slowly worked her way up, shaking her head as she now had to try to figure out where Yukiko had gone. It wouldn't take long for her to find out. Tina turned right as Yukiko ran, and Tina found herself standing up only to be leveled again right after! The impact was loud and Tina let out a howl as she was crashed into! Tina was again laid out, flat on her back looking up at the arena lights trying to figure out just how she got there.

This match was not looking good for her right now, but she was not in any position to do anything about it after being hammered by Mighty Yukiko and her sling blade!

The crowd would cheer as Yukiko nailed a picture perfect slingblade to send Tina down to the mat. Getting up to her feet, the Ace would waste little time taking in the crowd reaction, running towards the ropes and bouncing off, looking to hit a Muta-style snap elbow drop on the chest of Tina! If the nice connected, Yukiko would go for an early pin, hooking the strong leg of Tina high.

“ONE!”

"Ungh!"

Tina groaned as the Mighty One was piling on, complete with Yukiko going for a pin on a shocked, banged up, aching worn out Tina! She groaned and began to thrash about, still stuck underneath Yukiko!

"TWO!

The referee's hand went up into the air and Tina let out a shrill cry as she thrust Yukiko off of her with her desperate strength! Tina rolled over and got to her stomach, pushing herself up onto her hands and knees before making a wobbly ascent up to a vertical position! "Nice try... but that won't be enough not even for the beloved Mighty One!" Tina said in a defiant, but clearly hurting voice.

Yukiko would be surprised at the explosiveness of Tina's kickout. Sure it was early in the match, but Yukiko's slingblade was an effective maneuver on its own, following it up with a snap elbow drop could have taken the wind out of anyone's sails... but not Tina!

"I knew you wouldn't go down easy rookie," Yukiko said with a smile as she worked her way up to her feet just as Tina did the same, "Guess it's time to turn up the heat!"

Darting behind Tina, Yukiko would reach her arms out and around the waist of Tina, feeling that toned midriff as she tried to go for a german suplex for the second time in this match!

Tina was gasping for breath after her kick out, needing time to recover. That was not something she was going to get.

Tina yelled in shock as she was lift up again, once more driven to the mat hard by Mighty Yukiko! Her shout of agony was accompanied by a flop to the mat, Tina rolling to her side to cradle the back of her head right after. She knew the match was going to be tough, but so far Yukiko had proven even harder to face than anticipated!

Yukiko would get to her feet after the impact, knowing it would take more than a german suplex to keep the athletic young Tina down! Yukiko may have been a high flyer, but even she was having trouble catching up with the tigress! Deciding to try and slow the match down a little, Yukiko would kneel down next to Tina and try to position her knees on Tina's back, arms reaching out to grab Tina's chin and one of her legs. If she got a good grip, she would lay back, forcing Tina to be propped up on her knees and have her back stretched out in a bow and arrow hold! "Let's see if Alaina taught you how to get out of this!" Yukiko said with a small grin, knowing that most rookies weren't good at counter maneuvers of this type!

Tina howled out in pain as Yukiko caught her off guard! She flailed about and howled in agony as pain shot through her body! Tina reached out with both arms to grab at one of Yukikos! Tina tried her best to pry herself free, desperate for a moment of respite.

Yukiko would push her knees up to add to the pressure on Tina's back as she tried to weaken the rookie! However, it seemed Tina did indeed know what she was doing, pressing both of her arms against the one Yukiko had on her chin! Knowing that holding on to the hold would risk Tina falling on top of her, Yukiko would let go and let Tina flop to the floor as she rolled up to her feet. Not wanting to give Tina anytime to recover, however, Yukiko would try to pull Tina up to her feet by her shoulders

Tina gasped for breath as she was freed, but Yukiko was back on top of her in seconds. Stumbling limp legged as Yukiko pulled her up, Tina tried to brace herself and step in to a couple fast punches to Yukikos face!

"Not gonna lay down and let ya beat me!" Tina shouted as she stepped up to try to grab Yukiko, scooping her up off her feet and stepping forward to try to hit her with a back breaker!

Yukiko would be disoriented by a series of punches by Tina to her face, stumbling back a step as she tried to keep her balence. "Ugh... WOAH!" Yukiko would cry out as Tina would lift her up with surprising strength before slamming her back first onto her knee, Yukiko's spine bending harshly with a backbreaker! "ARRGH!" she cried out as pain began to spread thoughout her body.

Tina saw the pain on Yukiko and knew she had her stunned. The young tigress had to pile on or she would be subject to the powerful, fast offense of Yukiko! She for back to her feet and jumped up, looking to land knee first on Yukikos abdomen!

Yukiko would be lying on the ground, trying to get her bearings from the surprisingly powerful backbreaker before suddenly feeling the air be driven out of her chest with a knee drop! Yukiko would bend up from the impact, wheezing in pain before falling limply back down to the mat

Tina huffed for breath as she had built up some momentum! She held a fist high and shouted loudly. "Lets do this!" She said as the crowd loomed surprised to see Yukiko reeling. Tina hauled Yukiko up and stood behind her, wrapping up her arms. Tina lift Yukiko high and fast, bringing her crashing down to the mat with a bridging Tiger Suplex to try to pin Yukiko!

Yukiko herself was surprised by the offensive ability Tina was showing. She didn't expect such ability from the middleweight, a prodigy for sure! Yukiko would then feel herself be pulled up to her feet, her legs barely getting a hold on the ground before she felt her arms be pinned behind her. Knowing what was coming, but too worn out to counter, Yukiko could only brace for impact as she was slammed right on top of her head with a massive tiger suplex! The crowd would cheer, some even gasping at the vicious impact as Yukiko's shoulders were on the mat, eyes closed and looking completely out of it!

"ONE!" The ref would count, the crowd counting along in anticpation of the young rookie's major victory over the former Ace of Wrestle Angels!


"TWO!"

With a burst of energy even she couldn't explain, Yukiko would kick her legs up to try and get out of the pinning predicament. If successful, she would fall to the mat face first, in dire straights but somehow still fighting!

Tina rolled to her side as Yukiko managed to kick out! "No way! Damn it you are tough!" Tina shouted as she slapped the mat and rose to her feet.

Tina walked over to Yukiko, pulling her up by the hair to a standing position in front of her. Tina bent down, looking to grab hold of Yukiko and lift her up.

Yukiko could barely comprehend what was happening around her as lay on the ground, hearing Tina shout in frustration before pulling her up by the air. Yukiko would be lifted up like a ragdoll, her arms and legs simply dangling before being put in a standing position. Her head would be looking down, seemingly lifeless as Tina would grab hold of her... only to suddenly spring to life! Arms suddenly shooting up to the back of Tina's head, Yukiko would bring her head underneath Tina's chin (face unintentionally coming close to her opponent's breasts) and attempt to drop to her knees to hit a massive jawbreaker on the young star!

Tina didn't know what hit her. She had Yukiko up for a brief moment, then felt a sudden fall downward and pulsing pain in her jaw! Tina hit the mat in a heap, her hands covering her face as she was down on her back in a daze!

"They didn't call me ace... because I couldn't take a beating..." Yukiko would say as she rose up to her feet, feeling a second wind rush though her as some members of the crowd began to chant her name. She would wait for Tina to start getting up before running towards the ropes, hopping onto the middle one and then jumping off with her body outstreched for an impressive springboard crossbody!

Tina was in a haze as she got up and staggered about. She heard footsteps and turned in time to see Yukiko flying right at her! Tina shook her head as she reached up to try to brace herself and catch Yukiko, but it didn't work! Tina groaned as she was crushed to the mat by Yukiko and her cross body block!

------

The body block would almost hurt Yukiko as much as it did Tina, its high impact hell on her battered body, yet both her pride and the energy of the fans gave her the strength to get up to her feet! She would clutch her stomach with one arm and hold the other in the air, knowing she had to end things here! The crowd would be ravenous as she would reach down to pull Tina up, wrapping her arms around her waist to pull her to her feet! Once Tina was standing, Yukiko would grab Tina's wrists, crossing the arms of her opponent before bending down to place her head between her legs! With a shout, Yukiko would attempt to lift Tina off the ground, seated on her shoulders for a seemingly inevitable Mighty Japanese Ocean Cyclone suplex! Would her trademark move earn her another victory?

Tina was out of it, but knew from the loud sound of the crowd that she was in trouble! As she was lift up and grabbed she had to act fast. Much more and there was no way she would kick out of anything.

Tina groaned as she tried to surprise Yukiko with a knee to the gut and free her arms, reaching down to grab Yukiko by the legs and yank them out from underneath her! Tina cried out in pain as she maneuvered to toll Yukiko up into a surprise roll up pin!

Yukiko’s legs would shake as she lifted Tina into the air, tapping into the last of her reserves. The Tigress has pushed her to her absolute limits. For the sake of her reputation, her fans, and her hopes of becoming the first ever LAW Middleweight Champion, she had to hit this.
Just when she had Tina all the way up, however, she felt a sudden shift of balance.
And then the world tumbled
Yukiko tried moving her legs, but could only get them to jiggle, folded up with her shoulders on the mat!

“ONE!”

She was too weak to struggle, not able to fight out.

“TWO!”

She closed her eyes, already feeling them tearing.

This was it.

“THREE!”

DING! DING! DING!

Tina jumped up on shock and doubled over in pain. Her head was swimming as her arm was raised. She was looking around at a stunned crowd, as they could not believe the upset that just happened. Or how it happened.

"I... I won?" Tina said, still surprised. Hobbling over she offered a hand to help Yukiko up to her feet.

------

Yukiko would lay on the ground for a few moments, in disbelief over what happened, hands pressed to her forehead. When she removed them, she would see the rookie who had scored the upset over her offering her hand to help her out. For a moment, Yukiko didn't want to take Tina's head, barely able to even look up at the Tigress fully...

But what was she so ashamed about?

Her match with Tina was a close one, and the Tigress had won fair and square. While this was the end of Yukiko's tournament run, she was determined not to be out if the running for the middleweight belt, no matter who won it! A small smile appearing on her face, she would finally reach up and take Tina's hand to the cheers of the crowd, who would give dueling "THANK YOU YUKIKO!" and "THANK YOU TINA!" chants. When Yukiko got to her feet, she would pull Tina close for a hug and whisper in her ear.

"I think... I think I just had one of the greatest matches of my career with the next middleweight champion..."

With that ringing endorsement, Yukiko would turn to face the audeince and raise Tina's hand up, the entire arena cheering for the rookie as we fade to black.
