Re: Yamato Nadeshiko vs Melody Serperior

Melody thought that her chop did enough damage to buy her enough time to recover from the knee to her gut, especially with how Yamato reacted to pain. However, it seemed that the green-ette underestimated the Perfect Woman.

Right when Melody was getting ready to get away from the corner to continue her attack, Yamato suddenly rushed at her, and rammed her forearm into Melody head, sandwiching it between the landed clothesline and the turnbuckle!

And just when Melody wanted to drop to a seat at the corner with a scream of pain, it would be revealed that Yamato has already figured out further plans for the green-ette. Placing her feet at Melody's stomach, Yamato would flip and toss the green-ette on her back closer to the middle of the ring with her Monkey Flip!

Groaning in pain, Melody arched her back, shuffling to try and get herself to her feet, but seemingly not having enough strength at the moment.

Yamato had needed a moment to recover after taking the chop. Trading blows with Melody was beginning to take a toll on her. Still, she somehow managed to fight through the chest pain and repay her foe by speeding towards her and keeping her in the corner with a running forearm.

Luckily for Yamato, she had managed to force her foe's skull into the turnbuckle, adding to the damage and stunning Melody long enough for her to follow up quicjly with the first move that came to mind: Monkey Flip!

"Hrah!!" With a loud cry, The Japanese woman leaned back and pushed Melody upwards with her feet. Fans roared as Nadeshiko sent her opponent flying across the ring! Normally, she'd opt to bask in the cheers for a moment, but a combination of wear on herself and concern that Melody wouldn't stay down made her opt to continue taking Serperior seriously. Yamato turned around and sat near the bottom turnbuckle, leaning against it and rubbing her chest area a bit before grabbing onto the ropes to pull herself up.

"You're not bad at all." She said with a smile as she pulled herself up. With one hand on each of the adjacent ropes in the corner, she would jump and push herself up to a seated position on the top rope.

"But that belt belongs to me!" With that assertion, Yamato would leap off the second rope and get a decent amount of hang time before coming down on her towards Melody poised to deliver a Flying Guillotine Leg Drop! Yamato aimed for her opponent's head/neck area. If her move connected, the brawny Japanese icon would cover her green haired foe and hook both her legs with one arm to secure a pin!

As Melody laid for a second arching her back, trying to recover from the Monkey Flip, she heard Yamato's claim, that she was going to be the one to win the Middleweight Title. Right when she attempted to raise herself to a seat, to tell her opponent how wrong she was, Yamato jumped from the top rope, aiming and landing her thigh across Melody's neck and chin with a thunderous impact!

Immidiately afterwards, the Perfect Woman would grab a hold of both of her legs to pin her!

"ONE!"

"TW----NO!"

Melody managed to kick out right when the ref's hand was about to strike the mat for the second time, pushing her legs out of Yamato's grasp while simultaniously throwing her arm into the air.

"Then you should start bringing out something stronger..., Melody would say to Yamato with a smirk, while still lying on the canvas: "Because I am not planning on ending this tourney without the gold on my shoulder!"

Yamato secured a pin that she was confident about. She hooked the green clad woman's legs and nodded with each count. When Melody showed her resolve by kicking out just before the count of 2, fans cheered both fighters.

"Gold is earned, girl. Less talking. More earning." Yamato said with a slight chuckle as she reached for her opponent's head. She'd try and tug Melody up to her feet before attempting to swing her arm towards her for an attempt at another chop, this time making contact with her sports bra! If the chop connected, she'd pursue Melody and place her hand behind her foe's back before attempting to push her towards the rope with an Irish Whip!

If successful in doing this, Yamato would then dash to the ropes on the other side of the ring and jump onto the middle one. She'd launch herself backwards towards an oncoming Melody and torque her body for another crowd pleasing move: a Corkscrew Crossbody!

Melody planned to fight back immidiately as Yamato dragged her to her feet. Her opponent was right. She had to keep her head in the game if she wanted to win the Middleweight title.

However, just before she planned to deliver a stiff knee to her opponent's stomach or chest, Yamato would deliver another devastating chop, this time right to Melody's bust!

"GYAAAAH!!", right when the green-ette recoiled in pain and tried to get her hands to her chest, Yamato would quickly snatch it, and launch Melody towards the ropes with an Irish Whip!

Trying to ignore the slowly dissapaiting pain in her chest, Melody would see Yamato jumping off the middle rope. If Yamato wanted to impress the crowd, Melody would try to one up her on that!

Jumping at the same moment as Yamato, Melody would pose her feet to aim for the rotating Yamato's torso or back, managing to literally snipe the Perfect Woman from the air with a Dropkick!

Yamato felt she had enough control of the match to go for yet another big move. After trying to weaken her foe with a chop, she positioned her foe to run into her whilst she attempted a dynamic aerial maneuver! A corkscrew crossbody! Yamato's athleticism was highlighted by the move. Many were impressed with it's execution. But that athleticism would only serve to further aid Melody in creating a momentum shift and turning the tables! Serperior was able react by jumping into the air and nailing the Japanese Native with a Running Dropkick! The kick would pluck Yamato from the air and send her crashing towards the mat right after Melody's shoes connected with her muscular abdomen.

"URGH!!!" Yamato cried as the spin she put into her move only served to drive her midsection more harshly into her foe's kick. She'd fall to the canvas and clutch her stomach with both hands, coughing profusely as a result of literally having the wind knocked out of her. In just one move, one counter Melody proved that she could hang with The Perfect Woman in the ring!

With the successful counter to Yamato's fairly beautiful move Melody safely fell arms first while Yamato crash landed and held her hurting belly. The green-ette tried to get towards the ropes Yamato springboarded from, starting her run on all fours from where she fell after the dropkick, and eventually getting to her feet as she rush towards the rope before Yamato recovered!

Jumping onto the middle rope to try and land her own high-flying move, Melody would jump off of the rope while her back was towards Yamato as she tried to land a Springboard Moonsault, landing stomach first on her opponent's chest and stomach.

If successful, Melody would quickly catch the Perfect Woman's leg for the ref to administer her count!

Melody's impressive counter left Yamato stunned and floored in the middle of the ring. The brunette laid there groaning. She had just removed her hands from her abdomen. As she laid there supine in her tight fitting leotard, she struggled to open her eyes to s to see the ceiling lights in the arena. And that view would soon be obstructed by a flying green figure soaring at her with a Springboard Moonsault!

"OOOOOFF!" Yamato groaned as Melody's impacted her own for a picture perfect Moonsault. Nadeshiko's legs would flail upwards as a result of the impact and she'd remain grounded while the audience cheered in support of her opponent! Melody would have no issues hooking the Japanese native's leg to begin the pin. The referee would drop down to count a pin that would send one of these women into the championship tournament!

"ONE...!"

"TWO!!"

With a mighty roar, Yamato found the resolve to kick out just after the two count, similarly to how Melody did not to long ago. She'd roll to her side and remain under her foe, panting hard to try and find her second wind, and her way back into this match!

Melody would jump as she heard Yamato roar and jump up, breaking the pinfall at two! She quietly growled, but there was nothing she could do, a 2 was a 2, nowhere close to the 3rd count.

Still, the fact that her first pin attempt yielded her a 2 already shown her that she was on her way to beating the high-flier! If she didn't let up, the ticket to the tourney was as good as her's!

Getting the woman to her feet by her head, Melody would continue hammering the "Perfect Woman" with knees into her stomach, planning to take away as much wind out of her as it was possible!

Yamato panted after kicking out. Melody was giving her everything that she could handle and more. Unless everything was happening according to some really elaborate plan, it was hard to say that she was having the perfect debut. Still, she had the green-ette to thank for that. That that was a good think in Nadeshiko's eyes.

"You're...better than I thought..." She'd say as she was pulled up to her feet by Melody. Yamato would try to find her wits. She stumbled a bit before finally getting up. And once she was up, she'd take a hard knees to the stomach. She was left with her mouth agape while her face bore a pained expression. Before the Japanese native could even get over having the wind knocked out of lungs, she'd be met with a subsequent knee! This time, the force of the strike forced her down to her knees. She crossed her arms over her midsection and held her muscular, yet hurting abs in an attempt to shield them from further harm. Though she remained determined to find her way back into the match, Nadeshiko seemed to be susceptible to further offense from Miss Serperior.
