Interview by catfight: Robin Mendez vs Carina Ricci

[Knight-Day]

It was evening in the city of Osaka. At a mansion at the outskirts occupied by a certain blond wrestler. Clad only in a brown bathrobe with dark lingerie underneath Carina Ricci lounged comfortably on a massive sofa in the living room. In front of her was a tv screen, playing a marathon of Gintama from the earlier seasons. The Californian chuckled watching the title character scream and run for his life.

Recently Carina had recently a mysterious offer from an LAW staff member to allowed her use of this estate at their expanse. Such an offer sounded suspicious but Carina took it anyway hoping something interesting will happen. “That was two damn days.” She muttered somewhat resentfully. As much as the huntress enjoyed a break now and then she craved some action. It is her real reason for staying in Japan to begin with.

Little did Carina realized however, an unexpected guest was making her entrance who arranged this whole thing to begin with.

It took some doing but Robin knew that she couldn’t exactly force her way into things, as her fight with Alexia taught her long ago. She would need to show her skills rather then talk about them. And it took some time to arrange her next hit goal but she had it in mind when she got it, making Carina a nice offer she accepted to let her enjoy the perks of Robins influence, while she didn’t have the vast connections she did in her native home she wasn’t powerless either and she still had her money. Letting her enjoy the time to herself so as not to rush her Robin would eventually show up, entering with her own key and looking and listening for miss Ricci. She heard sounds of something playing and knew that at the very least the women had taken her up on her offer. Now she just had to show her what the benefit of staying under her employ embodied.

Yawning Carina closed her eyes. She had grown up rich but it didn’t really help with family issues. Still it was better than people. The past taught the blond huntress one thing. She would rather earn her benefits than inherit them.

The thrill of competition makes rewards all the more sweeter. Carina smiled at the thought before hearing footsteps over the tv. Alarmed, the former heiress with eyes wide open jumped up. Several feet away was a dark haired woman in a zipper shirt and a tropical skirt. Raising her eyebrows Carina subsequently asked.

“Who are you and what the hell is going on?”

“So you had accepted my little offer. It’s such a relief to know this was money well spent.” Robin took a moment to mentally pat herself on the back but given how that would do little to stamp out the women’s concerns or answer her questions Robin was soon quick to continue the conversation. Her hand rubbed across the couch as she walked on past it and moved to get closer to Carina’s side for what would undoubtedly be a lengthy conversation. “I am Robin Mendez, but you can just call me Robin. As for what is going on, that’s a bit more complicated. I brought you here for several reasons. Reason no. 1 is that it’s out of the way and more peaceful then the chaos that LAW usually is. 2. Because your a relative unknown in comparison to more established names, while those are good on occasion I’m looking to make an impact with some newer faces. 3. I and the most important. I have an offer for you that would change your life forever and the offer to crash in this place was a way of showing just one of the benefits that came from saying yes. The rest? Well that just depends on how this goes.” Robin took a seat in the couch her smile remaining as if she was confident she could persuade this women to her side.

Titling her head Carina thought. So all of this was her doing. With this realization the wrestler remained standing keeping an cautious eye while the tv went to commercials. The blond listened with great attention as Robin revealed who she is and the purpose of this meeting. Slowly Carina lowered her guard and sat opposite of her guest before turning off the tv with the remote.

Folding arms across her chest Carina replied. “You have my attention Mendez. What exactly are you offering? I’m already in contract with LAW.” Robin can see from the younger woman’s wary expression that she needed more convincing.

“As do I. But what I’m offering isn’t an out from LAW, more like a better place in it. ” Robin clarified immediately that her proposal was not one that would take her from LAW instead it was more to the purpose of getting on how to get the best of any situation. “While some would like to pretend otherwise surely you must know LAW is a dangerous place, filled with people who would take advantage of people without a moments notice. Think about the attack on some of the big names and champions by greedier folk who band together. I’m used to that kind of lifestyle and I know the best way to go about doing that is too..Van together and in some cases strike first.” Robin she’s Carina more carefully as she continued. “You can probably guess where I’m going with this, I’m not hurting for money so I can make sure your well cared for as apart of my team. And maybe down the line I’m sure you can find some more success with getting title shots or anything else that suits your fancy in wrestling.”

Remaining silent Carina took in everything said by the Brazilian. It was true she had heard about certain wrestlers getting attacked and their careers ruined as a result. The thought of not being able to wrestle again because of some outside ambush greatly concerned her. Carina closed her eyes and griped both hands, hating the very idea of it. All the same should I really trust her? The huntress wondered privately, before looking Robin in the eyes.

The other woman was an unknown but could she really turn this offer. A thought came to Carina, subsequently she nodded to herself. Attention to Rodin the American replied. “That’s a generous offer.” Raising the right hand with the index finger pointed up she added.

“However, you’ll have to earn my respect so let’s have a little wager. Fight here and now and beat me by two knockouts you’ve have me in your merry band without further questions. Yet if I win you leave and I’ll keep this place to myself freed of charge. Take it or leave it.”

Displaying a confident grin of her own Carina awaited Robin’s answer.

When she was done she was hoping to negotiate terms and such for the the deal or be willing to haggle. She didn’t expect what she got for her to see the reason in her points but pull a card that she had to earn her respect in a fight. She had gone all out with the gifts to avoid having to get physical and she still ends up like this. Robin wanted to scream into a pillow but she couldn’t with Acarina looking at her. “Here and now? Not in a ring?” she was asking for trouble here but she didn’t back down instead standing up ready to fight. “If that’s how you want to play then don’t expect me to back down, of course if your going to put me in a fight then trust me when I say while I’ll still treat you well when I best you and your part of our group, You’ll have to earn our respect a bit.”

“I’ll admit the ring would’ve be fun. Yet this is more convenient to test this arrangement especially with no referee and audience get in the way.” Standing up on both bare feet Carina disrobed, revealing her scantily clad figure. With a competitive glint she added in a teasing matter.

“This should be interesting.”

Done Carina shot forward, intending to lock up with Robin.

While it was faster she was forgetting one crucial aspect of the lack of an audience or referee. There was no one to call foul when Robin played her hand. And given how this women had basically lobbied her services against her potentially losing the mansion Robin had only acquired a month ago she was foolish if she actually thought that she was going to play ‘fair’ in any traditional sense, unless Carina fancied herself a dirty player as well in which case it would be a game of who can outsmart the other. Robin generally won those games and when Carina looked ready to go, she started things off by running into Carina to attempt to tackle her to the floor.
