It was exactly as and had planned: Morasanu Productions was a success. First came the House of Horrors, a match that doubled as proof of concept. Then each sister had come forward with a project of their own: Eveline's "Even In Death", and the initial chapter of Emilia's "Tales From the Church of St. Morrigan" series. Three projects would show three different ways their works could go:
A simple premise that makes the match, with the involved wrestlers acting entirely as they wish.
A story with established characters, with an open-ended script that allowed for plenty of improvisation, as was necessary for a film that doubled as an official match.
And finally, the conventionally scripted work. There would still be room to add things in as the scenes go on, but characters are more firmly set, with events leading towards a planned ending.
"Sick Like Me" was the third variant. The younger Morasanu sibling has decided that this would be the case with every project that sees her co-starring under her real name instead of bringing a member of her Collective on screen. For the most part: The story had been written, and the events were set. But she still wanted to leave some of how the ending is reached up to her co-star-to-be.
Why? Aside from Eveline (who was only given the one-word answer of "reasons" when she made her inquiries, which was enough for her to clue in), Emilia had told no one, but for this, she'd decided to do what countless writers and directors have done in the past and are still doing today: Provide herself with the means to indulge in her fetishes in her work. It would even influence the casting: She wanted someone who's bigger than her. Stronger. Or at least very technically sound.
Preferably a man. Or a futanari. Or a transwoman who hasn't gotten bottom surgery. But she's keeping her mind open to those who don't meet those qualifications. History has shown many a time that sometimes those need to be set aside to allow for some other talent to show through and enhance the work that way.
As it was now, she had a victim for the initial scene that would establish her character's brand of villainy. But the search was still on for the hero of the tale. She had a few strong talents pass through:
Ichi Nakamura? Emilia had done her research on him after catching a match that he was a part of. Turns out he's much too familiar with a specific part of the subject material, in the worst possible way.
Kira Valentine III had the same problem.
And Dolly Blitz. That egotistical prick. He kept trying to make it his show, pushing for ideas that would make his character look better, but didn't work for the story.
All three were blacklisted.
Black Severin was a name that she was very interested in. The match they had in that first After Dark show, him versus Daeva Asphodel, remained one of her favorites. Tied with Keira Robinson, just behind the House of Horrors match. And he'd grown bigger, stronger, more confident -- dominant -- ever since. So when he mentioned being interested in playing a role, even in something darker like this, she was keen on seeing his audition, which was more involved than normal; she set the scene with everyone who tried out for the part, laying out their characters and ad-libbing an interaction with them. She needed to have some chemistry with whoever gets the part.
And the chemistry was present there. The audition went well. But alas, she had to keep him tucked away for something else.
Why? The mask. The hero of this tale is one that's akin to Dexter. A serial killer hunting another serial killer. Would they be doing it with the help of resources afforded to them by a position within law enforcement? She'd work that out with whoever gets the part. Either way, "Sick Like Me" wasn't meant to be a masked vigilante feature.
And the man was damned stubborn about keeping it on. At least, until that right time he's waiting for finally comes along. She had to laugh at the irony: He was willing to get buck naked and try out positions that wouldn't be out of place in the Kama Sutra, maybe even adding one or two to the book. All while exploring some of the finer points of being a switch with her in front of a live crowd. But taking off the mask was that one step that went too far.
She respected his decision, however. It was no simple accessory to him, and as someone who keeps her real identity separate from those she assumes in the ring, she knew just how meaningful it could be.
And so, it was onto the...
"Next."
