Alizeh And Lauren: Stoking The Fire

This was an usual event for Lauren to be at. She was at an autograph signing at the beach, a place she wasn't usually asked to be at. She hardly had a beach body or a super fit figure. she was wearing a blue one piece swimsuit like normal as she signed away but she lacked the usual kneepads and boots this time. She had a fair amount of fans who wanted her autograph, picture, etc but it was far from as long as other lines around her. She expected that, and she was used to it by now. She was never going to be the biggest name or a mega-popular star but she had carved out something of a spot for herself even if it was in the mid-card... towards the bottom of it.

Lauren wiped away some sweat as she kept signing away unsure of who she may bump in to. Sometimes it was a pleasant chat with a fellow wrestler and other times the meetings between competitors were less cordial...

"Oh Laurennnnnnnnnnnn ~~~"

This was the loud, sweet toned voice of one Alizeh Midori who was actually next in line after the person that had gone up to Lauren left, also dressed for the beach in a light blue bikini that left little to the imagination.

"Hey how you doing girl?" Alizeh asked, having taken a liking to Lauren over the course of their last two matches and without waiting for a response she would leap over the table to land in Lauren's lap, legs out to one side and arms wrapping around the woman's neck.

"Hey guys, me and Lauren have a bit of a work date about to happen, sorry but trust we'll make it up to y'all in a bit trust me!" Alizeh said in a friendly voice and wink to the dozen or so fans left in Lauren's line, some of whom sighed in disappointment but took Alizeh for her word and left.

All while Alizeh leaned up to the blonde woman's ear. "Sorry for the interruption. I just need to talk to you about something. Pleaseeeee play along and carry me somewhere a bit more private. Trust me I think you'll find it worth it." Alizeh whispered to the woman, pulling away and winking.

Lauren was there and she wasn't sure how she didn't notice Alizeh. Alizeh absolutely had her number in the ring, although Peggy had managed to pull off the upset of her career against her Lauren was 0-2 now blowing both matches at the very end. However unlike many women in LAW Alizeh was actually an upstanding person. Lauren wasn't upset to see her even if her in-ring memories were often involving looking up at arena lights when the final bell rang.

Lauren looked out at everyone else, only a small gathering. "I will come back right here as soon as we finish I promise!" Lauren called out, standing up and waving.

She looked at Alizeh and raised an eyebrow. "You certainly dress better and look more the beach babe part than I do." She said nervously as she picked up Alizeh and began walking. "So... what exactly is going on?" Lauren asked wondering what exactly Alizeh was planning.

Picked up by Lauren and carried away Alizeh would sigh dramatically as she leaned against Lauren as they walked. "That's cause you're more of a beach hunk Lauren." Alizeh shot back teasingly to Lauren before looking up and around as they traveled a fair distance away from the tables and determined that they were far enough away, hopping out of Lauren's arms in the process before turning to face the woman.

"As for what's going on well two things." Alizeh said looking Lauren up and down. "Number one... I'd like one more match between us. I feel like there's something buried deep inside you that I've come close to unearthing in our last match but it's still buried... I wanna bring THAT Lauren out. That and I like ya, you're a good person, and if I can give you one more crack at me I'd like to do that." Alizeh explained with a smile and nod, giving Lauren a chance to process the information but before she could reply Alizeh would continue.

"Secondly... Management wanted to put on an impromptu show for the fans. No match unfortunately so I made a little suggestion and may or may not have volunteered you and myself for it." Alizeh with a wink before continuing. "It'll probably be a series of contests or something between us, but the more important part is that if you agree to it, and ok with this next part, I'd like to also add in that which ever of us wins this little contest, they can decide what sorta stipulation we do for a third match... if you're interested." Alizeh said finishing her explanation with a smile before stepping back to give Lauren a chance to respond.

Lauren was silent for a few moments as she listened to Alizeh. Another match? Was it another shot or simply another humiliation for Lauren as she seemed always destined to fall short at the end especially against women like Alizeh. That or she got outright steamrolled. Another chance to prove she wasn't a jobber for big names though... could she pass that up?

Lauren was still dead silent for a moment letting everything soak in. "You are on. I don't care one way or the other about challenges. I am tired of being seen as a chubby old lady who just gets beat by every halfway decent wrestler she faces. I am done with that. I need to beat you. I need this." Lauren said looking at Alizeh. "... and thanks for the chance, for not just dismissing me the way most everyone else does."

Admittedly Alizeh wasn't sure if Lauren would say yes or not. Obviously as the one offering Alizeh was hoping Lauren would accept the match, but she knew the woman had some confidence issues which was understandable, but still she hoped that in spite of that she would try. Luckily Alizeh's hopes would be fulfilled as Lauren indeed accepted, talking rather confidently in the process as well! Grinning at this Alizeh would nod and reach her hand out for a hand shake with the woman.

"Excellent... I look forward to seeing you try." Alizeh said and once Lauren accepted and shook her hand she would grin and step a bit closer to the woman. "Also no problem. You're good person and low key a great wrestler. You just gotta stop worrying about the crowd." Alizeh said as she looped her arm around Lauren's and began leading her back towards the festivities.

"Anyways! The challenges! I believe the officials said they wanted a test of strength, a chop battle and for doing this last minute they'd let us decide the third one sooooo any ideas?" Alizeh asked with a grin as the two neared the event, some people whispering at seeing the two apparently so close, with many fans gathered around a squared off section of sand where the 'exhibition' as it had been advertised by the law staff would take place.

Lauren nodded and smirked. "A slam off? We each slam one another or a dummy that is our weight to a scale that measures whose slam has more impact? That or we lift and see who can lift more?" Lauren asked tossing out the first things that came to mind.

"Did you have any ideas? I am open for whatever ya like." Lauren added, ready to give Alizeh whatever challenge she wanted.

As the two walked and talked Lauren threw out a few ideas for the last competition they could do. "Hmmm can do a kissing contest." Alizeh suggested with a teasing tone, waiting to see Lauren's reaction before giving a light elbow to her side. "Just kidding though hehe. But that slam contest idea is interesting." Alizeh said as she hummed in thought for a moment.

"I think I saw something similar with maybe Alaina a while back? Where like, we slam each other a certain number of times in a row then go for a pin? And whoever kicks out sooner wins? What do you think sound good?" Alizeh suggested towards Lauren curious how she would feel about the idea.

"Wha- oh... heh, okay." Lauren said with a laugh at the suggestion of a kissing contest. However the next suggestion seemed to be quite fun. "Oh that? Yeah! I saw that. You know what lets do it." Lauren said with a smile. "So...... which one are we doing first?" Lauren asked. She was happy to get some sort of fan exposure even if she knew the fan favorite was overwhelmingly Alizeh. She also wanted to get some sort of win against her. She knew she had to salvage something after those two losses where she outright blew it two matches in a row. She knew she wasn't a pushover but it would be nice if everyone else knew that too.

Alizeh giggled a bit at Lauren's reaction to her joke suggesstion before smiling and nodding at the woman's reaction to her more serious thought. "Great! Sounds like a plan then I'll let the organizer know!" Alizeh said jogging a small distance away to a man wearing a LAW monogrammed polo, informing him of their decision as he nodded and pointed in the direction of the squared off space.

"Alrighty!" Alizeh said as she made her way back to Lauren and gestured with her head towards the space. "He said it's all good and to head on over. He'll start it up here in a few minutes." Alizeh said as she turned and led Lauren over to the space while the man Alizeh spoke too just a second ago raised a megaphone to his lips.

"Attention ladies and gentlemen! Thank you for coming and as a special treat we will be holding a special best of three contest between two of our talents! Featuring both Alizeh Midori and Lauren Fredericks!" The man said as the crowd cheered and began crowding around in anticipation. "Now starting this off will be a suggestion made by the ladies themselves! A slam off where the two will take turns performing five slams each followed by a pin count to see who can kick out fastest!" He announced to many more cheers from the crowd!
