When LAW Magazine had decided to launch the Ladies of LAW Calendar as a feature to promote some of the promotion's up and coming stars, with photos and interviews of wrestlers from all up and down the card, they had expected it to be a side business to raise money for their publications - at least, that's what those of them who didn't write it off as a glorified excuse for its mastermind, interviewer Takeda Ryoshi, to hang around women in bikinis thought. But despite all expectations - including Takeda's own - the calendar was proving to be a hot item. Not only was it selling well year to year, plenty of LAW wrestlers had signed up for their chance to be featured, seeing it as their big break to further their career and show their best side to the world. However, this was going to be the next step. LAW Magazine had arranged to sponsor a special match featuring two women that had been featured in the 2024 calendar - Hazel Nielsen and Ísafold Hjalmarsdottir - competing on the beach. Was it a publicity stunt? Yes, maybe a little bit. But it had also generated plenty of buzz!

First to come out to the crowd, gathered on the beach around the ring, was LAW Magazine writer Nanako Sen, who was acting as ring announcer for this match. Grinning and waving her hands to the fans, she hopped up onto the apron, posing proudly with her hands on her hips. She got a fair few cheers of her own - but of course, the real excitement tonight wasn't going to center around her, but the two ladies who had graced the pages of the calendar!

"Hello, and good evening, everyone!" Nana called out. "On behalf of LAW Magazine, I'd like to extend a very special welcome to you all! The Ladies of LAW Calendar has been a great success, and I'd like to thank everyone who has shown their support - from us at the magazine, and all the ladies here at LAW who make it possible! If you haven't picked up your copy for the new year, don't miss it - available at our merch stand now! But we're here to celebrate all those people who made the calendar a reality tonight - including, who else, the man behind it all, our interviewer and special guest referee, Takeda Ryoshi!"

Nana gestured to the entrance, where Takeda came down the aisle as well, dressed in swim trunks with an open referee shirt over them. He wasn't quite as outspoken as his coworker was, and there was still an awkward look on his face as he chuckled a little anxiously. He had no idea how his girlfriend was going to feel about this, but he'd insist it was all business. He did have to say, though, he owed it to Nana to keep the crowd enthused with her infectious energy...and her girlish figure certainly didn't hurt.

Nevertheless, clearing his throat, Takeda got up on the apron and took the microphone from Nanako. "Yes, er, uh...hello, everyone! I mean...wow. You guys really know how to show your support! You know, when I pitched the idea for the calendar, a few people thought I was joking when I said I'd be the one doing the interviews..." A few chuckles went up from that anecdote. "But I never thought I'd be at the point where I'd be refereeing a special match to promote the fine young ladies who volunteered themselves to grace its pages! Let me tell you, though, it's an honor. And, uh, an honor I hope to do justice, considering I've never been a referee before..."

Nanako elbowed him in the side. "C'moooon, you'll be fine! Alright, alright, enough talking! I think we've introduced ourselves well enough - but let's be honest, nobody's here for us. Except maybe Yozakura. They really want to see those same ladies who heralded June and September in action tonight - so let's all welcome them to the ring!" With that, she gestured back to the entrance - and the fans were already clapping at the promise of what would happen next!

This was a day for Isa to feel a bit awkward, but also rather honored.

Why? The Angel of Ice had recently featured on the pages of LAW Magazine's Ladies of LAW calendar, as the lady for September. And while that had naturally been quite an honor, it had been a little awkward for the Icelandic blonde as well. Despite her profession as a LAW wrestler, she had never really gotten used to all the publicity and all the popularity - especially the type that such a calendar entry was going to bring with it. And while she had coped through the interview and photoshoot all right, the reaction that had followed it had been quite something... Something that she had certainly not been prepared for.

But of course, the Angel of Ice was very honored by such a positive reaction as well! One part of which had turned out to be this match ahead of her today! Apparently, the magazine was very keen to boost the popularity of the calendar by arranging some beach matches between the ladies featuring on its pages, and their selection for the other competitor for the first match had been Isa! Of course, Isa shouldn't possibly interpret it as anything else but an honor to have been selected, right?

Sure, granted, her friend Julie had told her that it would be just a publicity stunt. Sure, they were technically just wanting to make some more money out of her. Sure, she had been asked to wrestler in her calendar photoshoot bikini, which was again a little awkward. But she should have not really let any of that bother, right? She was probably just jealous. Isa should just focus on the positives!

Focusing on the positives was also key for Isa to remain confident regarding the battle ahead. If she was perfectly honest, her beach matches in the past hadn't turned out exactly any great successes for her. But focusing on the positives, this time was surely different. First of all, it was going to be a standard match, without any crazy stipulations... And second of all, the weather wasn't windy and raining, and her opponent wasn't going to be any kind of ruthless heel, based on what she had learnt so far.

That was in fact one of the main positives. For once, Isa had ample knowledge of her opponent, Hazel Nielsen! For once, she was properly prepared! Even though, based on what she had learnt, the Norwegian-Scottish redhead was surely not going to be an easy opponent by any means. She was skilled, strong, sported a decent record and held some subtle size advantage over Isa - although not nearly as much as many others in the heavyweight league did. Honestly, for facing a heavyweight, Isa had a lot of reasons to be positive about facing Hazel!

As the Icelander was listening to the welcome greetings and entrance speeches by Nana and Takeda, she was trying hard to stay cool, confident, and positive. And focused! Focused on the task at hand, task which she felt especially important, proud, and honored to take on today!

Isa - The Angel of Ice - Miss September!
Image

Making her entrance first, the Icelander aimed to forget about wearing her white calendar photoshoot bikini as she made her way down the aisle towards the ring between the bleachers, amidst a rather raucous reception, with admittedly quite a few catcalls as well. She strived to remain focused though, maintaining a polite smile while giving a few subtle waves at the crowds, before proceeding to make her usual entrance into the ring. Sliding graciously inside between the ropes, the blonde who had clearly been introduced as "Miss September" this time, proceeded to perform her usual procedure of getting up on the ropes at each side of the ring, and making sure to greet all of the crowds with a polite smile. Then, she proceeded towards the center of the ring occupied by Nana and Takeda, to see if they happened to have any questions for her, or if they were already letting Hazel do her entrance next.

Isa had turned plenty of heads when she made her entrance - and really, as a striking blonde with a body like hers, Takeda couldn't blame anyone for cheering her on! She wasn't the only one getting cheers, though - as it turned out, Takeda's girlfriend and fellow LAW wrestler Yozakura Fukuda was sitting there in the front row, and she blew a whistle in his direction as she cheered and waved her hand. "You look so cute in those swim trunks!~" she chirped - which made Takeda spin back around in her direction as a deep blush crossed his face. "H-Huh-!?" A few chuckles from the crowd followed, which only made his blush deepen further still. Then he gulped. He hadn't even known that Kura would be in attendance for this match - and if refereeing a match between two beauties wasn't already a daunting task for someone as dirty-minded as he was, the fact that he was doing it all with his girlfriend watching could only make things more awkward. Was she going to think any less of him if his eyes wandered? Could he even trust his eyes not to wander?

Takeda was broken out of those thoughts a moment later when Nana bumped him in the side, causing him to clear his throat. "A-Ah, right, right, where was I!" Clearing his throat, he turned to face Isa, taking the microphone from his fellow writer. "Everyone, I'm very pleased to be back in the ring here with Isa - a lady I've had the pleasure of interviewing not long ago! As you've heard, she's our Miss September for this year. And that's, uh, a job she does well!" He got a few more cheers for his introduction, but that just made him blush a little harder before clearing his throat. "I just wanted to ask you, Isa, how do you feel being here, going into this match?"

Isa had figured out by now that there certainly was a chance of some additional promotional or interview aspects being associated with this match, and as she could already tell, having both the announcer and the referee in the ring and taking turns with the microphone probably meant that they wanted to chat with her for a bit prior to her opponent's appearance. Closing in on the center of the ring, the Angel of Ice did note Takeda's attire better though, aided especially by some comments he was getting from the crowds, and the blonde had to admit that it was a bit strange, if not an awkward feeling seeing the guy who had been interviewing her in a very appropriate businesslike attire before to be now wearing...this.

Nevertheless, it wasn't too hard for the Icelander to approach the situation professionally. This was far from the weirdest thing seen in wrestling, or especially in LAW after all... Even though, apparently he decided to call her by "Miss September" again? Sure, logical... But a little bit cringe. Would have been slightly more cringe, if he hadn't used her name at all... But sure, Isa shouldn't have bothered herself with any of that. This match was promoting the calendar after all.

"Ah, well, thank you for asking, Takeda... I am feeling very good!" the blonde began in a very polite and graceful tone. "I'm also very pleased to see all of you here in attendance..." she then continued to address the crowds, before finally concluding by wanting to try to present an air of confidence to the audience. "Oh, and of course, I aim to show everyone today why the cooler September certainly defeats the summer heat!"

Cringe? Maybe. But within acceptable limits!

"Hah, that's perfect!" Takeda nodded to Isa with a grin. He hadn't expected her to get this into the act, playing up the theme of representing her month, but he wasn't complaining either! Even if she found it awkward to treat the match this flippantly, Isa was at least getting into the right spirit and adding some fun to the atmosphere. And she got a few cheers from the fans for it, too!

If things were going this well thus far, Takeda saw no reason to slow down. "Well! It seems like the fans have made their voices known - when we think September, we might not think beach weather, but it seems these beach-goers know who they want to support! Let's turn it over to Miss June!" He spun back around to face Hazel, holding the microphone toward her. "Hazel! It seems like Miss September over here thinks she can beat you without breaking a sweat - anything you would like to say to that?"

As soon as those words had left his mouth, Takeda frowned, looking up at Hazel's musclebound physique. Even seeing that physique on full display, in all its glory, didn't make things any easier. She didn't seem like the type to find as much fun in this, and he could only hope his attitude hadn't offended her. Because if it had, she definitely had it in her to make him regret it.

Hazel sighed as she stood backstage, if you could even call it that, it wasn't the usual building, and backstage felt more like the storage closet of a circus tent, if anything else. Tonight was another match, but this time it was outside on a beach, and she was wrestling in a bikini, showing off more skin than usual. Tonight's match seemed like little more than a chance for some horny fans to get excited seeing two scantily clad woman wrestle and grind there bodies against each each other and hoping to see a wardrobe malfunction of some kind.

It seemed the calendar Hazel had posed and done an interview for had sold well enough, LAW to greenlight a match based around it, June vs September, Autumn vs Summer. Hazel cracked her knuckles as she waited for her music to play, as her opponent was interviewed in the ring. When her music finally started, Hazel stepped out from behind the curtain, her green bikini hugging her toned and muscular figure, leaving little to the imagination!

Hazel was conflicted whether or not to pose for the crowd, but caved and decided to give the fans some service as she stopped in the middle of the stage, raising her arm and flexing for the crowd before lowering her arm and putting a hand on her hip letting the fans get some photos as she looked towards the ring seeing her opponent and there special guest referee, the interviewer himself, Takeda Ryoshi!

Hazel took one last deep breath and headed down the ramp towards the ring, every set of eyes along the ramp were focused on her, some of them focused especially on her solid and toned abs. Getting to the ring, Hazel stepped up onto the ring apron and bent over, stepping between the ropes, giving the camera and the fans a shot of her behind as she got into the squared circle.

The Scotswoman then went to her corner, and climbed to the top and middle turnbuckle, and spread her arms, striking her signature pose before hopping down and turning to face her opponent, taking a moment to adjust her bikini bottoms to preserve some form of modesty as Takeda finished interviewing her opponent. Hazel let out a sarcastic chuckle, hearing Takeda recount that Isa thought this match was going to be easy. Hazel leaned towards the mic only having a few words to say in response. "Hope she doesn't blow away like a leaf in the wind, especially after all that talk" Hazel said before standing back up straight and eyeing up her opponent, ready to make "Miss September" eat her own words!

Takeda had timed things just right - almost as soon as he had finished with what he had to say to Isa, it was time for Hazel to enter the ring. And sure enough, she got a fair few cheers on the way down the aisle! Takeda spun around to hold the microphone in Hazel's direction as she stepped up, though he did pause a little as she bent over the top rope, his eyes wandering down to linger on her dangling cleavage. To have had the opportunity to spend some time face to face with Isa and Hazel in their bikinis had been one thing, but now, not only would he be sharing the ring with them both, he had front-row seats with which to watch them rolling around and grappling with each other. He knew that he was on to something when he came up with the calendar, but he never imagined it would become this much of a success...not that he minded for a moment that it had!

In fact, when Hazel made a quip about Isa blowing away like a leaf in the wind, calling back to her status as Miss September, Takeda smiled a little wider - if the two girls were getting into the theme of this match, that meant they were just as invested in it as he was! Or at the least, they were willing to pretend they were. "Hah, well said! Well said indeed..." Either way, Takeda knew what the fans were really here for, and he wasn't one to stand in their way.

"Well, folks, I don't know if I could say it better myself! We've got two fine young women in the ring tonight, and it sounds like both of them are determined to go home victorious. Sounds like a recipe for a good match to me! With all that said...I'm just as eager to see what's in store as any of you are, so I say, may the best woman win!"

*DING DING DING*

Taking a bow, Takeda stepped back, giving the floor over to Hazel and Isa as the bell rang. Nana slipped out onto the apron, raising her hands in the air as she joined the fans in a cheer. This was shaping up to be a match to remember!

Re: LAW Magazine Presents: Hazel Nielsen vs. Isa - Ladies of the Calendar Beach Clash

Even if Isa wasn't necessarily overly thrilled by the theme of the match today, she was certainly still polite and well-behaved enough to appreciate it, and recognize it with the way she was approaching the match. Especially when getting interviewed, she had the opportunity to display some of her sportsmanship, and embrace her role as Miss September in this matchup. And based on what she was hearing from the crowds, they were happy to witness the Angel of Ice dressed in her white LAW calendar attire in the ring, all ready to take on Miss June!

Takeda seemed very happy about it too, with the blonde earning some complimenting words from him. Besides, September featured pretty much just as good (or as bad) beach weather in her home country of Iceland as almost any other time anyway... It was natural for Isa to play this role! And when something felt natural, it was wasy to give out a more confident appearance... Or some confident words, as she had just done about this matchup!

Finally, it was her opponent's time to make her appearance. And even if Isa had technically been very much aware and prepared for who she was facing today, seeing Hazel's mighty body in flesh inevitably caused a small dent in the blonde's confidence. Her entrance theme managed to sound rather mighty and ominous at the same time even in the beach surroundings too, and to Isa's relief, for the moment all of the crowds were having their sights set on the Scotswoman's flexing and abs, with even Isa duly noting that she still had quite some work to do with training to reach similar levels... Her legs were mighty as well, and Isa could tell that the redhead could certainly be having all the same strengths and capabilities as the blonde herself did.

And with that in mind, it was rather unfortunate that Takeda interpreted Isa's initial confidence as a sign that the blonde was thinking this match to be easy. That was certainly not the case! But the damage had been done - evident also by the choice of words from the muscular redhead. Even if she didn't say much, she certainly matched the blonde's confidence levels... And the theme. Certainly, with Isa noting to herself that she really needed to be aggressive and do her best, if she wanted to defeat Hazel!

Isa was keenly eyeing and taking notes on Hazel's body as Takeda was giving out his final words, before he stepped away from between them, granting the two heavyweights unimpeded access to each other. Isa began promptly approaching Hazel... But not for an attack, only to meet her in the middle. Offering out her hand for a shake, Isa had no reason to abandon her usual courtesy despite the theme of the match, even if she voiced out some words in accordance with it. "May the best month win!"

Regardless of whether Hazel would accept the handshake or not, Isa would soon be taking a few steps backwards after it. But it was only for a brief moment of preparation... The blonde was keen to secure an early advantage here, so the Angel of Ice would soon take steps forward again, and surprise her redheaded foe with a Roundhouse Kick targeted at her solid and toned abs!
