Rules: Victory by achieving two of a possible three pinfalls, submissions, or knockouts. Match takes place in Daisuke Takeuchi's apartment, on padded mats. The winner will become or remain AHW United States Champion.

This was it. With former Apartment House Wrestling US Champion Cynara Morgan signing on board with LAW as a manager, diplomatic ties between LAW and AHW were stronger than ever. And, seeing fit to appoint herself as ambassador of the apartment wrestling league, Cynara had wasted no time in promoting it in LAW. Already, Cynara had leveraged her clout to set up a few jointly-promoted events between LAW and AHW, with talent from both promotions participating and officials from both companies present in the apartments to record the results. But there was no mistake about it - Cynara's intentions weren't merely to give back to the company that had made her a star. After all, her daughter Mina was the reigning champion - and when Cynara saw her accomplishments as the spark she needed to breathe some life back into the Morgan family name, she was keen to seize on the opportunity to lift that star higher. Not only had she helped Mina come over to LAW, she had promoted her matches in both companies to ensure the spotlight was on her. Beyond that, she had been happy to set up a few joint cards and even volunteered her various penthouse apartments in New York, Los Angeles, and Tokyo to hold the matches, so long as Mina was front and center in the main event, of course. Tonight was one of such matches - but it was a special occasion that stood high above the rest.

Not long ago, Cynara had called Daisuke Takeuchi, the self-proclaimed Wrestling Prince, out for a challenge. She knew he was a proud second-generation wrestler himself - and to her, there would be no greater proof that Mina was going to make waves in the wrestling world than if she defeated another legacy wrestler, proving that no dynasty in the sport was able to compare to the Morgans. And not only had Daisuke agreed to the plan, he had made a wager. He would face off with Mina in a two-out-of-three falls match - and the winner would go home with the AHW Championship.

Some might have been impressed with his bravado. Others might have questioned his cockiness. But Cynara had no qualms whatsoever. Before the night was over, it was official - the match would be held at the Takeuchi residence, with Cynara in attendance along with her entourage of reporters, photographers, and AHW officials. And Mina was ready to defend her title - and with it, to put another notch in her belt for another hard-fought victory over another wrestling family.

Cynara's crew had already arrived, and were beginning to set up their equipment. But only now did a jet-black limousine pull up to the venue, with Mina and Cynara on the plush leather seats in the back. "Remember, Mina," the veteran explained, "there's a lot of hype out there for this one, so don't choke..."

Mina crossed her arms with a pout. "Really, Mom? You think I'm going to choke? With this?" She patted her hand against the AHW championship belt, which was laid in her lap.

Seeing this, a smile came to Cynara's face as she nodded her head. Her daughter was confident in her success - just as she should be. "Me? Oh, of course not. I was just making sure~" With that, as the limousine came to a stop, Cynara rose to exit and made her way to the door, and Mina was close behind her.

The wrestling prince was not sure where and how the call-out came from but once it was made there was no way he was going to back down from it. Of course, after the challenge was thrown and accepted, he did his own investigating to figure out the real reason why Cynara would have set this whole thing up. Of course, it was to promote her daughter's journey from being an apartment wrestler to a pro-wrestler but also more importantly than that it was to hype up the Morgan family name. By proving their superiority over other wrestling heritages, they would cement the Morgan family name as on the top of the wrestling food chain so to speak.

Of course, coming from a wrestling family himself, Daisuke was not going to let these upstarts get the better of the Takeuchi family name. When he had thrown the challenge for the match and the title though, he did not expect a whole entourage that would follow the mother and daughter wrestling duo. The bell rang and the butler would open the door. "Ah Madame, the master has been expecting you two" he would say, giving a slight bow as he would invite the two in- naturally the crew would follow in as well.

The penthouse apartment was quite lavish, as expected. A large living room which would be the main arena- so to speak- for their match. Most of the furniture was replaced but there was an expensive couch, a coffee table to the side and most of the area was left to be padded with thick blue wrestling mats to make a nice squared area. Then of course, there was a kitchen, two bedrooms and two bathrooms. There was a large balcony as well where a small private pool was there with a great view of the city.

"Hmm I didn't expect this much...company" Daisuke said, getting up off that couch while in a purple silk robe. The wrestling prince would then quickly de-robe, letting it drop down his body to reveal that he was in his CK wrestling briefs and nothing else.

With Daisuke's butler inviting the Morgans inside, a smile came to Cynara's face as she nodded her head in gratitude. "Much obliged." Already, he was setting a good impression of how much he had at his disposal - and when Cynara made her way through the penthouse, she was even more impressed. Her eyes wandered back and forth, taking in all the luxuries - the amenities, the well-appointed furniture, and the spectacular view of the city. Even when she'd grown quite comfortable in her own wealth, there was something about stepping into an unfamiliar apartment this luxurious that brought Cynara back to the glory days of her youth, where she competed in the homes of the rich and famous and enjoyed their company and their undivided attention all the while. But there was something else about all this - something even better. The grandeur of the penthouse reminded Cynara of just how much fame and fortune the Takeuchi family commanded - and how, tonight, Mina would prove that none of that could ever hope to compare to her own.

Of course, she wasn't just here to admire the sights. When they stepped into the living room, the blue mats laid down over the carpet reminded Cynara that Daisuke was here to compete - and the fact he'd already prepared the area told her he was taking this seriously. An admirable quality indeed. It was a pity, then, it wouldn't be enough.

Looking back up at Daisuke, Cynara chuckled, folding her arms. "Oh, don't worry about me. I'm just here to observe. This is a title match, no? So of course we'll need an AHW official to make sure the results are recorded. And I would hope I qualify." Strolling over to the couch, Cynara took the opportunity to seat herself, leaning back against the cushions and draping one leg over the other. "You don't mind if I have a seat? At my age, it's better I sit down." Despite her formalities, though, Cynara would sit down whether Daisuke approved or not. That was her way of sending a message. She was already convinced she was the one in charge, and she was going to act accordingly.

Mina, on the other hand, wasn't here to play mind games - she was here to win. As soon as her mother was seated, Mina handed her her belt for safekeeping before she followed Daisuke's lead, stripping down to her lace-trimmed bikini and tossing her clothes to the couch as well. Her gaze never left Daisuke all the while, and her expression was flat, cold, and piercing. She wasn't here to make pleasantries, either, and she needed her foe to know that.

It was all so official, Daisuke did not expect all of this but it was quite welcomed. If there was an audience and video evidence to prove how badly he would defeat the legacy of the Morgan's, all the better. Of course, the title would be the cherry on top but it was more than a title, it was about which wrestling family was on the top of the food chance. Daisuke and Cynara squared up once again, Daisuke still wanted to get her on the mats for what she said but she was still playing the retirement game well. However, he knew that someday he would get a chance to wrestle her despite what she kept insisting about being retired. She would take her position on the couch, explaining the need for all the paparazzi.

"Hmph, how long are you going to just keep observing huh? I promise you one thing....you and I will meet on the mats one day" he would say as he would step up to her, hands on hips while she was on the couch. He then see some clothes being dumped on the couch and he turned around, watching Mina stripped down to her lace trimmed bikini. He would roll his shoulders and step up on the mats with her, as the two would glare each other in the eyes. There were no words, of course that only meant one thing.

Daisuke did not wait, he would go low as he attempted to wrap his arms around her waist and tried to tackle her to the mats!

Cynara was happy to settle into place as Mina readied herself for the match. She couldn't help but be filled with pride each time she saw her daughter carry on her proud legacy, and if she was about to witness her daughter taking down another scion of a noted wrestling family, proving once again that the Morgans would not be bested, so much more the better. But as she got comfortable on the couch, Daisuke said one other thing that caught her attention - that he wanted to face off with Cynara herself one day. The veteran raised an eyebrow, leaning toward him with rapt attention. That was a daring prospect indeed - Cynara had a name that commanded respect in the business even after her retirement, and Daisuke didn't seem the least bit intimidated. He was a bold one, for sure. Even when she thought that she was well past the prime of her competition...he was doing a respectable job of whetting her appetite. There was a certain appeal that came from getting involved herself in putting down such an upstart contender, and she couldn't deny it. "Oh ho..." she muttered, "Well, my dear, I don't know how much of a fight I can put up at my age, but...perhaps."

For now, though, it was up to Mina to put up the fight. And Daisuke wasted no time in throwing himself into the action, so she would need to think fast! As she felt his chest pushing up against hers, she began to teeter backward, shifting her balance to her heel, but she couldn't keep herself steady against the encroaching force, and she dropped to her back with Daisuke landing on top of her. She clenched her teeth to stifle a hiss as her back touched down on the mats...but Mina wasn't about to let this be the end. She could channel all that frustration into something productive - something she could use!

Just because she was down didn't mean she was defenseless. Mina was going to prove as much to Daisuke - and, hopefully before he could press any advantage, she would kick her legs up from the mat, trying to throw them around his sides to lock in a bodyscissor!

The truth was, ever since Cynara called him and his family out for a wrestling match, to test the wrestling dynasty of one family against the other, it was Cynara that he wanted to go up against. Despite her age, she still held alot of prestige in being the former and once undefeated champ. More importantly, it was her that called him out and not her daughter. Of course, she was advocating on behalf of Mina- so that the current champion would not have to do much work except show off her wrestling skill. However, for the prince- he felt that the one who dared insult him or challenge him should be the one who ought to test their skill.

For now though, her daughter would have to suffice. After a brief face off with Cynara, Daisuke would turn towards Mina. Without a word, the match began and Daisuke would lunge at the champion to take her down to the apartment mats. Mina would look up at a smirking prince, before wrapping her legs around his waist for a bodyscissor. "UUGHHHH" he growled in pain, hissing now as he stared her down. Daisuke would wrap his arms around her waist and pull up to his knees, then all the way to his feet to carry her in his arm, squeezing tight in a bearhug while she did the same to him in a body scissor.

"Nrghhh! Do you submit?" he asked as the two engaged in battle.

Cynara did have to admit, Daisuke clearly had some fire in him if he was willing to stand up for himself like this, even if he had been called out by a well-respected and rightfully feared name in the wrestling world. And Cynara was nothing if not eager for the glory. She knew that a legend returning to the mats would certainly garner plenty of press, and it would bring her name back to the spotlight like perhaps nothing else. She licked her lips in anticipation just from thinking the offer over. But for now, Cynara was content to sit back on the sidelines and let her daughter do the work. Perhaps the time would come when she felt the need to make her return - and only time would tell if Daisuke even proved himself to be worthy of her attention.

He had certainly started this match off strong, charging Mina and going to tackle her onto her back from the moment he was given his cue. Even Mina was taken by surprise as she was swept onto her back. But she wouldn't let this slow her down for long - she was a champion, after all, and she would keep on fighting! Her teeth clenched into a grimace as she looked back up at him with a hiss, and she quickly slung her legs around his sides to squeeze as hard as she could!

Daisuke, however, was fighting just as hard! Even with Mina's legs wrapped firmly around his waist, he was able to get his feet planted beneath him - and little by little, he managed to hoist himself back upright, even as she was squeezing the air out of his lungs! At the same time, he clamped his arms tighter around Mina's ribs; she buckled inward against the pressure, her face contorting from the pain as she sputtered and gasped. Cynara looked on with a watchful eye at every move. Daisuke was proving to surprise her when it came to what he was capable of...but it wouldn't be enough. In fact, when Daisuke asked Mina for her submission, her brows furrowed in a glare - the very notion he would ask that so early was an insult!

"You're better than that, Mina! Don't give in!" she called to her daughter. Mina's teeth were clenched tightly, and she growled under her breath - but she had no intentions of giving up either! Her eyes opened just enough for her to settle a withering glare on Daisuke, and there, she would raise one of her arms, shoving her hand into his face to dig her nails into his cheeks!

From the start of all this, Cynara was the one that Daisuke really wanted for daring to open her mouth and challenge him and his family like that. What made it worse was that the mature wrestler herself would not step up after issuing that challenge, instead she would put her daughter forward and even more so, continued to be the one who was vocal in all her taunts. It seemed that her daughter was only an obedient puppet, who was simply doing what her mother was telling her to do. As he took Mina down to the mats, she would trap him in a body scissor. Not to be out-done, Dai would wrap his arm around her and eventually lift her up in his arms for a bearhug.

The two would squeeze each other as hard as they could, but it was clear that Daisuke had the advantage as Mina would bring her palms to his face and press it against them before scratching his cheek. "AH! Damn catfighter" he hissed before suddenly falling forward, slamming Mina down onto the mat for a spine buster, releasing the hug but also forcing her to release the body scissor. As she laid there on the mat, he would get back up and turn to face Cynara who continued to speak on behalf of Mina.

"Dont give in? If you're the one who is going to decide if she submits or not then....take her place. I can see it in your eyes, you want to wrestle. Come on then, because if you wont wrestle....then I suggest you keep your big mouth shut" he said as he would stare the mature woman down.

Cynara Morgan had made a name for herself as the inaugural AHW United States Champion. And she had a very particular way of how she had accomplished that. She faced opponents who might have been stronger or more skilled than her, but where Cynara had the edge was in how she wasn't afraid to fight dirty and use every tactic at her disposal - deceit, mind games, low blows - to get ahead. No one was going to stop her, considering she was the crown jewel of the promotion, and her matches put them on the map. And her daughter had followed in much the same footsteps. Even when Daisuke had his arms wrapped around her sides and was lifting her off the ground, Mina still found a way to even the score, in raking her nails into his face!

For a moment, Daisuke winced. But his grip didn't break. If the pain Mina inflicted on him was proving too great for him to keep his focus through, he would just shift gears - and he fell forward, driving the blonde down into the mat! Mina cried out in pain as her spine came crashing into the floor; her body spasmed, and her legs fell from around his sides as she writhed back and forth. There, she was left panting for air. If Daisuke wanted to claim the advantage, he well could...but instead, he set his sights on Mina's mother, getting up to issue a challenge to her!

Cynara had to give this boy one thing - he was definitely a bold one. "Oh, my, this is unexpected," she muttered to herself, tenting her fingers together as she leaned back in her seat. "But I think I'll pass for now, hon. If you'd rather I keep my mouth shut, well, I can do that just fine. I'm sure Mina doesn't need my input to handle herself."

In fact, such a diversion had kept Daisuke distracted. And that could only buy Mina more time to recover! Rolling onto all fours, she began to crawl away from where she'd landed. Daisuke wasn't even watching her as she circled behind him. But that was the perfect invitation, in her book! As her strength returned to her, she would jump back to her feet behind his back, where she would try to bend him over to the side, trapping one arm between her legs as she threw her arm around the other to lock in an abdominal stretch!

"You say 'catfighter' like it's an insult," Mina muttered. "But maybe this is more your speed?"

There was no doubt that Daisuke's attitude was bringing out Cynara's desire to perhaps come out of retirement for that "one more match". Him constantly taunting her about it, getting to her face and challenging her intrigued the mature woman but being the professional that she was, she would refuse his challenge and remind him that it was Mina that was his opponent. However, she did kindly offer to stay quiet as Daisuke demanded which did not impress the prince one bit. "Hmph, I figured." he said, shaking his head in disappointment. "Good, because if you can't walk the walk then dont talk the tal-Nrgh, what the?" he would suddenly groan as Mina would be back up to her feet at this point and was behind him, quickly grabbing his arm to trap it between her leg while throwing her other arm around to trap him in an abdominal stretch submission.

Daisuke would howl in pain in front of Cynara, as her daughter streched him. "AHHHHHH" he cried out, squirming against her in the submission. He would grit his teeth and then use his arm that was caught by her arm, near to her head, to grab Mina's hair and yank it downwards- payback for that face scratch while trying to also stomp his foot against hers in an effort to try and escape the painful submission.
