Victory Conditions: The match takes place on a ring floating out at sea, just off the shore of the beach. To win, a wrestler must throw her opponent out of the ring and into the sea.

The sun was out, high in the sky. There weren’t too many clouds around, but the ones that were out seemed almost strategically placed to block sunlight so that things were hot but not oppressively blazing. A few seagulls cawed out in the distance, and a cool wind came over the waters, enough to make for decent waves but not so much that swimming would be a problem. The ocean was as still as anyone could ever hope for.
It was a wonderful Sunday on the beach. A good day for both fishing and wrestling. As it turned out, those were two of the main things that Kurenai had come to Tokyo for, though she’d never guessed she would be knocking both out simultaneously.
To the uneducated observer, it had to be a strange sight. A wrestling ring, of all things, floating in the middle of the ocean on top of a pontoon boat, bobbing this way and that on the waves. A bunch of LAW fans we were waiting in a boat nearby, overlooking it, drinking and chatting, and having a good time as they waited for an actual match to start on the crazy contraption. It was part of a summer event sponsored by the wrestling promotion, with them holding matches all along the waterfront. Kurenai had volunteered to participate in this experimental match setup.
It was a perfect setup for her. She loved trying new things, wasn’t too crazy about making her debut amidst a crowd, and it gave her a chance to come early and partake in one of her favorite pastimes: fishing.
Spoiler

The referee had swam in a few minutes ago, and though she’d given Kurenai an odd look, she didn’t interrupt her. Now all they needed was her opponent, and they could begin this in earnest.
Kurenai hoped she didn’t come too soon, though. Something was nibbling…
