Alois' Day Out.

Unread post by The Incredulous Snow »

A Quick look at his phone and a deep, conflicted sigh.

"... What am I even doing this for." Came the voice of a certain blue haired Welshman following along after the half-sigh/half-groan as he stood in the slowly rising elevator, A gift-wrapped package under his left and a bouquet of flowers under his right arm as Jasper thought things over once again for the umpteenth time about what he'll be doing today...

He didn't want to do this, He really didn't like this, and he felt what he was doing was just going to end in a fight or something worse, but the young Bluenette's conscience wouldn't let him live without paying a visit to his nemesis, though rather than being filled with any sort of pent-up hatred or contempt towards his arch-rival, Jasper felt a pang of empathy and some level of pity for the boy he was about to visit... He knew this boy, he knew him intimately from their clashes in the ring and online, and he'd seen how he'd often isolate himself and make enemies, often digging himself deeper into trouble like the stubborn prat he was, and for the most part Jasper wholeheartedly expected nothing but venom for his trouble.

But for some reason, the young Bluenette knew he just couldn't leave this alone, He'd gone so far as to spend several hours earlier that morning deducing where his rival lived, tracking him down to the Mitsui Garden Hotel, grabbing flowers from his garden and a gift for him, making sure to gift-wrap the present he got him before he arrived to the hotel.

-Ding.-

"Top Floor..." Jasper muttered.

Blinking around and shutting down any last minute thoughts before stepping forward out of the elevator and then walking past the many doors and through to the last door at the end of the hallway with the Welsh boy taking one final deep breath, a resigned sigh and then letting a gentle knock out on the door. Jasper had no idea how the blonde behind the door would respond to his appearance, He didn't have high hopes that he wouldn't get kicked in the crotch, or get the door slammed into his face or a punch to the gut... But at the back of his mind, Jasper held out some hope.

Finally, when the door swung open to lead into the rather luxurious Tokyo penthouse suite with his rival, his hated nemesis standing at the doorway to which the Welsh boy finally spoke with a rehearsed but genuinely warm, gentle smile, with his eyes softening to an inviting gaze.

"...Hullo Alois... H-Happy Birthday, I Heard today w-was your birthday so... I-I Got you a present.."
The boy's tone of voice being shy but amicable as he held out the bouquet (entirely made up of the prettiest Bluebells he could find) to his rival.

Jasper would... blink, maintaining a frankly blank and confused expression on his face as Alois suddenly piled a handful of dirty outfits that consisted half-way of his in-ring attires, and another half that consisted of his seemingly daily outfits, with the Welsh boy blinking to himself roughly... one or two times as he thought about what on earth Alois meant by this... "... Uhhh?" Jasper said with a raised eyebrow only for the door to swing-open again and his hated rival to stare at him... the English boy's expression being something of a mix of abject shock, surprise and frankly eyes that were quite horrified.

"A-AH! Ah yes! Ah well... I-I'm here to celebrate your B-Birthday." Jasper snapped with a shy laugh with a scratch of the back of his head as he suddenly handed out the bouquet to the Blonde boy, taking one more deep breath as he wondered if Alois would accept his gift.

"...It's Daffodils, bluebells and a Rose..." He paused momentarily, a slight pinkish hue forming on his cheek as he looked at the ground briefly before resuming his ramble. "It's all from my Garden and I thought you'd like flowers that reminded you of home." Jasper continued in a tone that could best be described as a mix between non-chalant and shy. "Well, it's not really a Garden but a bunch of pots and planters boxes on the balcony of my flat..." the young Welsh boy finished as he capped off his ramble with a quiet and nervous laugh again, worried that his rambling inanely about his post-match de-stressing hobby would either bore or enrage Alois.

Jasper could only offer Alois a somewhat awkward smile as the two rivals sort of just stood there... All this time, Jasper had always had something of a deep layer of contempt for Alois yes, but also lately a strong sense of pity had been developing in the Welshman for the Blonde boy and frankly as much as he questioned it... Deep down, he knew why he felt so much pity for Alois and his constant lashings out with something about the way Alois carried himself just indicating to the Welsh boy how lonely he actually was... it was sad, and the Welsh boy felt like he wanted to have a nice day out with him and at the very least wish him a happy birthday while he was at it too.

"Ahh, don't worry that's what friends are for." Jasper said with a gentle tone in reply as Alois sauntered off to get his clothes changed, grabbing the gift in the khaki wrapping out from underneath his arm and holding it out for when the English boy returned, Jasper softly smiled with a slight note of concern on his face as he thought on his mysterious gift for Alois and worried if it was really up to scratch or if he'd even know what to do with it... Getting a slight shock from his thoughts as he heard the English boy's voice again and looked to see him there in the doorway all dressed up.

"Well... I just thought, I thought you would appreciate someone to help you celebrate it." Jasper said softly. "Here... I figured you'd like it, something nice at least." He said as he took an anxious breath and then presented the mysterious rectangular package for Alois to open up to reveal what ever laid inside... those big hazel brown eyes wordlessly asking of Alois to open the gift Jasper had bought for him, and hoping for a positive reaction from the English lad as the Welsh boy held it out for him to grab, the contents of the box being a little bit heavy with a light rattling being heard from the contents inside of it as Jasper held it out.
