Supposed 'Date'! [Nanase & Sophia]

Unread post by thesteedman »

In truth, Sophia did not believe for a second Nanase had any intent on going forwards with the supposed ‘date’. The more Sophia thought on it, the greater she believed it was all just a part of the mind games the Japanese minx had played on her to help swing the spar to her favour. Sophia still felt irked after being subjected to such humiliating tactics Nanase did not hesitate to utilise against her, but at least it was all finished with now. The scarred German merely waited for the inevitable text, no doubt Nanase finding reason to cancel the whole thing. There was no contact from her through the following days, and soon it slipped from the German’s mind entirely. Sophia was reading a book in bed when that text finally came… but much to the platinum blonde’s alarm, it was not to cancel… but to specify a time and the place.

Sleep barely came that night. Frustration turned to nervousness, forming a knot within Sophia’s core she simply could not shift. It only grew when the day finally arrived. Nanase was serious about going on a date, looking to honour the arrangement. Sophia tried to think of a thousand excuses… but she herself was honourable by nature, and it simply was not in her to lie her way out of it, despite Nanase relying on schemes in their spar, Sophia considered herself of a different ilk. A deal was a deal after all, and if Nanase was counting on Sophia to pull out of it, she would not gain the satisfaction.

And so the evening arrived, and Sophia looked upon herself within the mirror, more conscious of her scar and lazy eye more than ever before. She struggled to find the right make up, struggled to find attire suitable for such an evening. For the first few hours of prep she struggled to do anything! All her casual clothes were business suits from her tycoon days, too formal and uptight. Beyond that was geeky T-Shirts of her favourite super heroes and past wrestlers... and beyond that was gym gear and Gi's! This all built onto her nerves as the hours of the day passed. When it felt like the nerves would overwhelm her, Sophia took a moment to herself. Standing in little more than a strapless grey tube bra and matching boyshorts before the mirror… the German remembered all at once that she did not care anyway. This was all Nanase’s doing, and no doubt part of some big scheme. Why was she being so nervous about it?!

Nanase was a cheat after all. There was no honour in what she did… Sophia recalled all too well how the Japanese beauty was quick to slip off her Gi pants in order to escape her submission hold. Such improper tactics! How Nanase used her chest against her foot to purposely humiliate Sophia when she had the upper hand. Sophia hated how Nanase had undone her top to expose more of her alluring form when they were supposed to be in a full contact and serious spar. The German was still furious… recalling how her long, bare and beautiful legs felt when they wrapped around her waist, squeezing firmly. How the Japanese beauty’s lips brushed ever so softly against her ear when her slender and indulgent form pressed up against her back. How hot her breath felt against Sophia’s neck whilst her hands ever so delicately began to slide down Sophia’s shoulders, bringing the straps of her top down in a slow and…

Sophia opened her eyes sharply, noticing she was biting hard upon her lower lip. Her heart was racing and in a flutter… Shaking her head she tried to shove such thoughts to the back of her mind… Nanase was the enemy after all! With a deep breath, Sophia aggressively reached for a set of clothing that would have to do for the night. The Scarred German was taking too long to decide things and none of it mattered! Taking out a white shirt, she managed to stylise it as best as she could, before taking a set of business pants she had barely wore. Slipping on the clothing, and sliding on a few modest bits of jewellery, she tried to make it work as best as she could. Sophia was not a fashion expert by any means, unsure about her look, but considering what she had to work with… The German actually looked stunning, and ready to hit the town… she just did not know it, nor did she have the eye to see it. Her make up was very light, never really one to rely upon it, but Sophia had always been a beautiful specimin to behold.

All that was left was to pick some shoes and she was ready. Taking a glance over the weather on her mobile phone, it looked like it was going to be a scorcher today, with plenty of sunshine and heat. With that in mind, Sophia passed on getting her coat, and toss out the umbrella from her bag to make some space… she wouldn’t be needing such things tonight….

------------------------------------------

Later on

------------------------------------------

The storm raged on and had done so for several hours. There had been no warning such terrible weather was going to befall Japan. Sophia had been spared the worst of it before the restaurant… but she was not so lucky this time. She tried to keep up with Nanase who led the way, feeling the heavy winds bash against her form, sending violent sprays and gushes of rain along with it. The German felt soft for not bringing an umbrella, and fantasized about time travel. If only she could have warned herself!

She held her bag above her head, for all the good it did. Her hair was sodden and flat, her clothes clung to her figure from the weight of the rain water. Each step she made within her shoes squelched as they were not designed for such conditions.
“H… how far do we have to go?” Sophia exclaimed aloud, though given the noise of the gale force winds, she was not even certain her words would reach her ‘date’ for the night!

"Hhmhmhm~" Nanase was practically skipping around her closet like a schoolgirl, twirling about with dresses and outfits in each hand. "Oh, maybe something a little more casual." She mused. "I'd rather not go all out and scare her. It's just a simple date." The unfortunate part of being an heiress and actor was picking out just the right outfit for whatever occasion came her way. She had plenty, but... too much of something was never a good thing, and collecting outfits was an honest weakness of the woman. "A simple skirt and blouse maybe? Or maybe some more urban with jeans. Ah, decisions, decisions..." The weather was getting warmer as spring started blooming through the winter chill, so something more revealing seemed appropriate. "Oh, it's been so long since I've gone on an honest date with someone~" Nanase's heart fluttered as if she going through a childhood crush. After all the business with Senso no Hana and the Gekokujo this would be a nice break. Even more since it'd be a date with a lovely foreigner. Not a new experience for Nanase, but she always liked hearing about things from other countries and the people of them, even if she traveled a lot in the past herself.

"Oh, this is perfect." She found something decent yet casual for the date, a bright red, short sleeve blouse and dark red skirt that when down to her knees. Something a bit modest, but showy enough to her tastes. It was going to be a nice restaurant and then a simple walk around a nearby park. Something simple to not overwhelm Sophia. After all, she'd have to do a lot to break that poor first impression the German likely had of her. Making the date a much more modest and casual affair would be a good ice breaker. The weather would also be perfect for that.

"Hmhmhm~ I can't wait."

_________________________________________

Hot and sunny my ass... The bitter thought followed a click of her tongue as her and Sophia ran against the wind, rain, and what honestly felt like sleet just to spite them. A damn near typhoon outside despite the weather report. Nanase couldn't help letting out a few swears under her breath as she charged through the maelstrom with Sophia behind her. Being stuck inside the restaurant was not going to ruin this date. She had a good amount of backup plans for something like this. She wasn't out yet. This date would succeed.

Failure was not an option.

"Not that far!" She shouted back. "Suzuki-san has a car ready at the next block, just follow me!"

And to her credit, Suzuki was waiting for them with a car, door held open as Nanase stopped at the edge of the vehicle, waiting to her date to go in first.

Re: Supposed 'Date'! [Nanase & Sophia]

The wind raged against the sleet and water so hard that it appeared like the rain was coming in sideways rather than downwards. Sophia had trouble keeping her eyes open as water ran down her face and clashed against her form in violent succession. The German followed her beautiful Japanese date for the evening with a feeling of despair against the world, as Nanase offered sanctuary from the infernal storm. Nanase's word was thankfully true, and the moment they were upon the next block, a car was awaiting the duo with a door swung open. Suzuki-San was here for the rescue as Nanase had promised.

Despite the conditions of the outside world, Nanase stood to the edge of the vehicle once she approached it, offering for Sophia to enter first. The poor girl was as equally drenched as Sophia herself. Her short sleeved blouse that had begun the evening so bright, red and easy on the eyes was darkened with rain water and sodden, clinging onto Nanase's alluring form like a second skin. Her skirt looked near black, forming around the captivating woman's thighs as rain glistened off her soft skin. It looked like someone had thrown a bucket of water on the poor woman, yet even in such a state, there was still a captivating beauty to the Japanese native.

Sophia in normal circumstances would have argued for Nanase to enter the car first... but on this occasion, she did not want either of the two to be in this weather a second longer. Conceding to the offer, Sophia entered the car promptly after a thankful nod to her date, scooting herself along the backseat, listening to the rhythmic sound as droplets of rain fell in fast succession against the leather seating. The German moved as far and as swiftly as she could, allowing space for Nanase to evacuate herself from the outside world to the warm and heated car.

Sophia gasped out once she settled herself. Water ran from her eyes, downwards from her hair... in fact, water was running down her form from everywhere! Upon her scarred but beautiful features was somewhat of a defeated expression. For all the near overwhelming nerves she had meeting Nanase in the restaurant, the German had actually enjoyed their time together. The food was simply marvellous, though Sophia had eaten little of it due to her nervousness during the first hour. Nanase had been nothing but pleasant and kind, and as the conversation progressed, Sophia was beginning to open up and become more at ease. Her initial impressions of Nanase as a hentai fighter made her think so ill of her during their spar encounter... but there was so much more to her.

It felt like the storm had brought an end to things, and Sophia hoped it had not ruined the entire experience for Nanase. Despite the storm, her first date was proving to be enjoyable, and she could not help but feel after the two had been drenched so much that perhaps this was the end of things. By the time Nanase had entered, Sophia made certain that her expression had changed, trying to look more casual despite looking like she had fallen into a swimming pool.
"I... I really do not know where that came from." Sophia near yelped out, looking down upon her own form, as her crinkled clothes clung to every inch of her with an uncomfortable weight.
"Well... I do not believe we could get any more drenched if we tried. We could still go for that walk you suggested?" Sophia managed to lightly jest, wearing a small smile on her lips...

The moment Sophia hopped into the car Nanase followed right behind her, Suzuki closing the door shut as the two settled in the back seat and the assistant moved to the driver's end, quickly starting to drive. Nanase let out a heavy sigh, glancing over herself and Sophia. They were absolutely soaked, the clothes sticking to their bodies like a makeshift wet suit. And I chose an airy outfit too... Nanse let out another huff, glancing at Sophia. She didn't look any better really, her clothes practically fused with her body as well. Definitely eye-catching and beautiful in it's own way, but Nanase had enough self control to hold back commenting on it. As nice as their date had been going it'd be a shame to ruin the mood further by making a cheekily charged comment on their appearance.

But thankfully, Sophia broke the ice first.

"Snrk-!" And it was honestly a good joke, one that Nanase couldn't help but snicker at before giving a rather dry laugh. "My Sophia, that almost sounds like a challenge." She said dryly, smiling despite herself. "No, as tempting as that is I say we go to my place, take a bath and unwind a little while our clothes get washed and dried if that's fine with you." It'd be the next best thing all things considered. The date wasn't a total disaster. They already had a good meal, even if Sophia didn't eat much of it, made pleasant conversation, and Sophia was even in a good enough mood to still joke with her.

The night was still young.

"But I have to agree, this was not expected. I was going to suggest a wonderful park just outside of Tokyo near my family estate. Somewhere we put quite a bit of money into, but... alas." She ran a hand through her sopping hair, trying to straighten it into some kind of neatness. "That said, we have a moment or two before we reach my place. Mind if we continue where we left off? I believe I asked about how you got into martial arts in the first place."

Re: Supposed 'Date'! [Nanase & Sophia]

Sophia did not know all that much about cars, but she knew an expensive one when she saw it, seeing how exquisite the interior of the vehicle was. When first meeting Nanase in her Gi like outfit, she did not consider at all that the beautiful Japanese native had come from a wealthy background. The mention of her family estate nearby a park, and having her own driver were obvious signs this lady was not short of cash, and then there was the style of car itself. Sophia had felt a little bad at the time when the two split the bill for the restaurant bill, wanting to front it all herself as the German was wealthy herself, but now she was thankful she had not, not wanting to offend Nanase in anyway. She cursed herself mentally for once more being so judgemental of the alluring woman. The more time she had spent with Nanase, the more Sophia realised how at fault she was for her own attitude. It became cringing thoughts looking back at how obviously she was looking down at Nanase during the brief time they had together for the spar, and now she was living to regret such behaviour. There was an old saying about books and their covers that came to mind.

Sophia's smile almost grew when she witnessed Nanase giving a little giggle over her jest, indicating that she was at ease within the German's presence. It was hard to believe given the stern and stoic exterior that Sophia often donned, but she was actually capable of jokes. Many found out quickly in the ring that she was actually sharp minded and not beyond trash talk, able to give as good as she could get. Where she struggled was in large crowds were a mic in her hand and all eyes upon her... Hence, she preferred to entertain with her skills. So no doubt it was a slight surprise that hidden within the stone skin, was a little bit of personality...

Sophia's expression shifted slightly when Nanase mentioned going back to her place. The prospect of a bath and an unwind was a suggestion that came completely off centre for the German, clearly taking her a little off guard.
"A bath?... At your place?" Sophia whispered, not certain how she should have reacted. It was a suggestion and direction for the night that Sophia had not really anticipated, and there was a pause in Sophia as she considered her options. She was not exactly experienced with dates... this honestly being her first and was not sure if this was a natural step or not. Her first and only girlfriend had not exactly been the loving kind of woman; with what passed for time together often being very intense spars...

Sophia forced a smile, feeling her stomach flutter as those nerves began to return... but she nodded.
"That sounds nice." Sophia added, agreeing to the notion. She just hoped Nanase had some spare gowns or the such for after her bath. In Sophia's mind she thought of a western bath and figured Nanase had more than one bathroom in her home. Clearing her throat, Sophia followed suit, trying to fix her hair as best as she could, though most of her efforts just caused a series of droplets to patter against the leather finish of the seating she was on, making her pull an awkward if not surprisingly cute expression. The poor woman was completely out of her element, but she was making great effort. It was all thanks to Nanase herself being so accommodating to her. Nanase was quick to pick up where the conversation had left off in-between leaving the restaurant and getting caught in the storm.

As the car began to drive away, the violent wind and loud patter of rain could be heard, whilst the vehicle itself shuddered and vibrated against the motions of nature. Sophia looked to Nanase after her question, trying not to be distracted by the raging weather which was quite slowly becoming a little startling.
"I... I’d love to say it was because I wanted to be a hero when I was younger, but I fear I developed my interest in fighting and martial arts all for the wrong reasons. I did not have much luck in establishing a friendship in others, and I was victim to bullying as a result. It was my way at getting back at everyone, and get back at them all I did. It was the real reason I first got into Martial Arts I’m ashamed to say. It was not a gallant path for me at the start, but I found as my life changed and I grew as a person, so did my passion for it all. I try to use my martial arts for better reasons now, but even to this day I still make mistakes and sometimes do the wrong thing, and it is often once again for the wrong reason.” Sophia confessed, managing to raise the side of her lip. She saw no need to beat around the bush about how it all began for her, and her closing words were in reference to her regret of her own behaviour around Nanase when they met.

”You do not mind if I return the same question to you I hope? You and I are very different when it comes to our methods and means in Martial Arts. I would like to hear what inspired you to do the same.” Sophia would then ask, turning more to face Nanase as she could not help but quietly glance at how her clothing was clinging to her alluring form. It was only the briefest of looks before Sophia would catch Nanase’s unique and piercing eyes.

The quick flash of worry on Sophia's face had Nanase frowning. That... was probably a little too forward. Even if she meant for the bath to be more a practical way to wash off the rain it was obvious Sophia's mind went other places. Places Nanase honestly couldn't blame her given their first encounter. But thankfully the woman seemed willing to accept it, and Nanase let out a mental sigh of relief. Alright... let's not say anything else that might have a double meaning to it, Nakano. She thought, scolding herself before focusing on the next topic at hand.

And to Nanase surprise, Sophia's martial beginnings were rather... dark, or at least darker than she expected. With someone as straightforward as Sophia she expected anything from Sophia having a military background to her being a part of some German association of some specific style. A former bully victim using her arts for revenge... well, it wasn't the first thing Nanase thought of. But the surprise on her face only lasted a second as she shifted to a more neutral expression, one without judgement. "I see," She straightened herself, giving Sophia a smile. "For what it's worth, Rei-chan's martial journey started out in the same way, so you're not alone in that." Nanase said, giving a light chuckle. "As for me..." She ran a hand through her wet hair.

"I wasn't exactly inspired, but required to learn." She started. "I'll spare you the long story of my family's history, but as heiress of the Nakano Group I'm expected to to tend to the heir of the Taishuya Group, Taishuya Himeko. Both as her attendant and her bodyguard as a part of my family's duty to hers. Learning martial arts is required of every Nakano member, all members having to at least be a brown belt in either karate, jujitsu, judo, or a fifth dan in kendo. I took to jujitsu at first, then went to karate, judo, and started competing in amateur tournaments during high school. Then I decided to travel Asia after I graduated high school on a martial journey of sorts." She paused, giving a smile. "That said, I do love martial arts as a whole. Maybe not as much as Rei-chan, but learning how to control and manipulate another's body had fascinated me every since I learned a few locks and holds, along with the flashier forms of martial arts like kung fu and taekwondo, though jujitsu will always be my first love." She let out a chuckled, leaning back. "Sorry if that wasn't as humble a reason as you expected."

Sophia listened intently, despite feeling a bit of rain water slide into her eyes. She used her sleeve to try and wipe the worst of it away, but her attention was always on Nanase as she began to share a little about herself, responding in kind to Sophia's question which was inspired by Nanase herself. She managed a pleasant smile, seeing the passion in the Japanese woman's piercing eyes as she described her love for martial arts. The beauty of a woman became more at ease as she spoke about it, leaning back against the chair as she began to look back a little. Seeing Nanase in such a relaxed position but Sophia more at ease herself, as she began to lie back against the leather seating, keeping her eyes upon Nanase as she began to speak herself.

"You have nothing to apologise for. I know you say it was 'required' of you to learn, but your beginnings in the martial arts are much more humble then mine could ever be. You actually surprised me during the spar on how well versed you are... I just... was not expecting such a shift in tactics." Sophia responded in earnest when Nanase finished, managing a half smile. The German was still trying not to appear too sour about the whole ordeal, but she could not deny that the outcome had proved to be an enjoyable evening so far... storm and all. It was interesting to hear about some of Nanase's origins as it where, discovering that she was to protect and serve Taishuya Himeko. Sophia wondered if her date for the night was going to fulfil such a role, or if she had her own ambitions.

Another more grounded question came to mind first , as Sophia fought best rather than to pry at such personal details. This was just a date after all... Albeit, Sophia's first one. It felt it might be wrong to dive too deep into such things unless the other decided to share themselves.
"Mentioning Ama... Rei-Chan. What made you take the girl under your wing? I assume you are training her." Sophia would ask next, sitting up a little to better engage. The young woman had been present the entire time during their spar, with all parties accidently crossing paths with Sophia during her meditation. Sophia figured it was Nanase's original intent to have a training session with the girl... instead Amano observed their spar. At the time Sophia felt embarrassed, knowing that the young woman witnessed Nanase shift in strategy against Sophia, and no doubt how the German panicked when the use of more erotic tactics were used.

Re: Supposed 'Date'! [Nanase & Sophia]

"Hmhmhm," Nanase couldn't hold back the chuckle. Sophia was just... so endearing. Nanase could see the mixed emotions on her face so clearly. She was obviously dancing around the topic of how this date came to happen. Oh Sophia, you and I both know I cheated you. You can say it without reserve. Then again, that probably hitting the nail too hard. Nanase was so used to Himeko talking at her and calling her out on her behavior it always caught the woman off guard a little when others outside her attendants treated her with earnest politeness in casual settings. That... probably wasn't a good thing, but alas.

But soon the conversation moved to another topic, this one a little more personal, albeit only by a step, and Nanase let out another chuckle. "I suggest calling her Amano. She actually doesn't like people using her real name if they didn't know her as Reiko beforehand." She explained, continuing. "As for what made me train her..." She glance out the window, examining the drumming beat of heavy rain and the slow movement of the car. At the rate they were going and given the traffic they were in it'd still be a little while before they got to Nanase's manor. Just enough time to get tell the story.

"Hm... It wasn't by choice, I'll admit. Though to correct you a little, I've only be personally training her for about a year." She began, leaning back into her seat. "I wish I could say I saw potential in her and wanted to mold her into a diamond, but... Heh, honestly? I thought she was such a little brat until recently." She paused, letting the words hang in the air before she truly explained the story.

"I'll keep Rei-chan's specific situation private since it's better for her to explain that herself, but at the time she came to the Taishuya dojo she was rather infamous at the time." Nanase paused, working out how much to actually tell of Reiko's story. "To keep it brief, Rei-chan was the victim of bullying, and rather harsh bullying at that that left her a shut-in for nearly a year until her family begged Himeko's father to help their daughter. The Taishuya family owed the Maizonos a favor, so they dragged her into the dojo in hopes of strengthening her body and mind. Rei-chan was... a rowdy student. She snapped, barked, and bit anyone and everyone that looked at her. Then Himeko, who was twenty at the time, dragged a bruised, bloody Rei-chan to me after class and told me to, and I quote, 'fix this'." Nanase chuckled. "I wasn't exactly happy with the idea of training a rowdy, angry child, but I asked the instructors for advise and decided to teach her the basics of jujitsu. Specifically a counter-focused jujitsu where she'd have to wait for someone to actually attack her before striking. I explained things to her proper instructors and they followed her training that way. To this day she still thinks she's learning a special form of Aikido, but..." She gave Sophia a sly smile, putting a finger to her lip. "Let's keep that between us. Rei-chan's improving both as a fighter and person, but she's still a little volatile, as I'm sure you know if you've seen her matches." And then, the care starting coming to a slow stop.

"We're at the manor, Nakano-san."

Nanase turned. "Ah, excellent timing. Good work Suzuki." She turned to Sophia, watching as Suzuki opened their door. "Shall we?"

Re: Supposed 'Date'! [Nanase & Sophia]

Unread post by thesteedman »

Sophia once more listened with interest as Nanase began to describe her history with Reiko... or Amano as Nanase instructed for those who did not know her too well. Their history was somewhat brief in all truth, with Nanase only having been a mentor to the younger 'brat' (in her own words) for no more than a year. It was surprising to learn that Nanase was a tutor of sorts by demand rather than by inspiration. The Japanese beauty had a remarkable poker face, her expression and demeanour never truly changing when she spoke of the student that was forced under her wing against her will. In truth, Sophia still felt she did not know a great deal about Nanase, though at least she was opening up a little more. Sophia could not help but feel Nanase must have cared for the angry 'child'. In truth she was a woman grown now... but given her attitude it was easy to see why Nanase still referred to her as something of an infant in personality. What little experience Sophia had with Amano, she could certainly concur that there was something volatile about her.

"I cannot say I have watched any of her matches all of the way through, but I have witnessed her capabilities." Sophia replied honestly. Amano, just like her mentor was privy to the other side of LAW that Sophia did all she could to stay away from. The Hentai department of LAW was just as big as its supposed main stream show. Many wrestlers specialised in both wrestling and the more sexual aspect of the darker side of LAW... it was something Sophia had no interest in herself, but regrettably she was becoming more exposed to such things as many wrestlers were picking up on her own weaknesses to such acts. Sophia had initially found all wrestlers involved in the Hentai section of LAW to be despicable individuals... but in truth, her time with Nanase was beginning to open her eyes to the fact that despite the nature of the shows and matches... they were still people. Sophia never would have spoken to Nanase normally, and their encounter in the dojo themed training room had been a means for the German to try and put a Hentai wrestler in their place...

Losing and ending up on this date however... it had opened up Sophia's eyes that Nanase was not the enemy. She was a woman who had a passion and ambitions of her own... who was training others and even giving Sophia patience and compassion that the German felt she did not deserve after all of her reservations. Nanase had made a show of her in the spar, and now she was making a show of her now, revealing herself to be anything but what Sophia expected.
"You have a kind soul..." Sophia whispered, letting thought pass through her lips unintentionally. No doubt Nanase would have caught the words, and Sophia did all she could to play it cool and casual... though her tensing shoulders betrayed her nervousness after letting such a compliment slip so freely. The door opening would save Sophia, as the poor attendant of Nanase known as Suzuki stood in the blustering winds and rains with an umbrella. It was large enough to shield both Nanase and Sophia.... that was until it wasn't. It began with flash of light followed by a booming crack of thunder that near startled Sophia.

A violent gust blew the material of the Umbrella inside out, straining the steel framework until it dislodged and was taken by the storm. Suzuki tried to wrestle what was left of the would-be sheltering device but it was clear it was a losing battle. Sophia glanced at Nanase with one alert eye and the other half closed where her scar traced down her face. How could the weather get any worse than this?
"I am not beyond the idea of driving the car through the wall of your home to keep us out of the rain." Sophia could not help but jest, seeing that the driveway was a little distant to the front of Nanase's estate. In truth it was a short walk, but any seconds spent in that weather would make anything feel distant. She could not make out much beyond the sheets of rain that violently danced upon the ground, shielding a true view of Nanase's home. Sophia looked at her own form, seeing that she was still essentially drenched with her clothes still clinging to her figure. Though the car was heated, there was little to dry the two women, and it looked like another skirmish was about to unfold with the terrible outdoors and its current wrath against the civilised world.
"... I suppose since we are already a little damp... what harm is there in one more run through the apocalypse? We should make a move before Thor shows himself." Sophia would add in a defeated tone, though she did manage a small yet alluring smile.

It was now or never... and the rain was going to get the pair one way or another. Not wanting to see poor Suzuki spend another minute out in the storm, Sophia took Nanase's prompt and opened her own door. All at once she was hit with a gust of wind, which made opening the door more of a challenge than it should have been. The trouble came from what felt like a bucket of water being lashed over her as Sophia could not help but gasp out in alarm as another flash went off followed by the near deafening crackle of the skies and its thunder. Stepping into the fray, Sophia slammed the door and rushed around the back of the car towards where Nanase and Suzuki would be... looking to see where their destination was. It was hard to see with the rain in her eyes, but Sophia took initiative, taking Nanase's hand with her own before she rushed through what felt like a Monsoon. She just hoped she was going the right way towards shelter, and that Suzuki was still with them. If nothing else... it would be a good war story to share with others later on.

Re: Supposed 'Date'! [Nanase & Sophia]

"Hmhm..." The whisper caught Nanase's ears, but she only let out a small giggle in response. As much as she personally disagreed with the idea she said nothing against it. It wouldn't be polite, and more importantly it'd kill the mood of this date more than the weather had. Speaking of... Her eyes looked outside, frowning at the sky's tantrum. The car was just outside the front of the manor, just a few feet from the entrance proper. It didn't exactly stop the wind, rain, and what honestly looked hail, but... it wasn't far, not enough to make someone as athletic as Nanase outwardly complain. Sophia on the other hand... well, she had her right to all things considered. Still, the reaction was cute in a way, and kind.

"Oh hush you, we've already been through the worst of it." She teased, signalling Suzuki to stand aside as the Nanase inched herself out of the vehicle aside Sophia. "Beside, I believe Fuujin and Raijin have a bit more domain here, and I doubt they'd want an interloper invading their performance." And with that said, the two women jump onto that symbolic stage, water blasting Nanase's already soaked clothes as her date dragged to the two to the nearest mass of housing ground. Nanase glanced back, seeing Suzuki's worried expression, but she quickly gave her another signal to march in front of the two and be Sophia's guide as the two trudged toward the front of the Nakano Manor. And the brave woman nodded and followed her orders, the clear silhouette of her uniform being her and Sophia's guide to Nanase's home for the final stretch. And thankfully a short one at that as the two soon found themselves stepping on wooden floor and the wild winds almost immediately dying down.
