Kyoko Kobashi vs. Mary Clarison - Mad Mud Match

Rules: Victory by pinfall, submission, or knockout. Match takes place on a beach in a pool of mud, with ropes around the edges and lifeguard towers at the corners.

Now this was going to be fun, Kyoko thought to herself. She'd seen matches like these before, and she'd always thought they looked like her kind of thing. Sachiko certainly agreed whenever such a bout came up while the Heartbreakers gathered to watch wrestling, and when Kyoko had told her she'd been booked for one herself, she'd shown nothing but glowing enthusiasm about it. Misako, of course, was less impressed, calling the whole concept stupid and arguing that "anyone who tried to put me in one of those things is going to get acquainted with my fist."

Well, so what! Kyoko would have her fun! Oh, and apparently, her opponent was going to be someone Misako had faced before - and who had actually managed to beat her. That was an exciting prospect! Whoever could beat Misako head to head had to be tough - but Kyoko was sure they'd make for a hell of a match!

"Coming first to the ring, from Tokyo, Japan! At 5'6 and 125 pounds, representing the Heartbreakers, KYOKO KOBASHI!"

The reception Kyoko got was a mixed one as she stepped out from a curtain and onto the sandy beach, thrusting her fist in the air with a cheer. On one hand, she was a member of the Heartbreakers, one of LAW's most fearsome factions who would stop at nothing in their pursuit of dominance...but she was also a good-looking girl in a bikini who was going to roll around in the mud, so that had to count for something.

Regardless of their reaction, Kyoko was undeterred. After snapping the side of her bikini bottom against her hip to make sure it was on snugly, she made her way down to the ring - or pool, as it were, given that the match was set to take place in a shallow pit dug in the sand and filled with mud! There, she slipped through the ropes, wading into the pool before she flipped her ponytail over her shoulder and threw her hands in the air one more time. "Whooooo's ready?"

Mary Clairson

There was an element of nervousness in Mary's body today (well, there always is, but it was more apparent today). She was about to compete in her first ever Mad Mud Match today. She's definitely seen Mad Mud Matches before, being a big fan of Makoto Aihara's work during the famous Rumble Roses tournament, where every girl had at least one of the Mad Mud Matches, wearing a swimsuit, rolling around in Mud. Mary didn't know how to feel about that, or why someone would create a match like this, but if Makoto could beat Candy Cane in one then so could she. Earlier in her LAW career, she successfully made one of the Heartbreakers, Misako Enjoji, tap out after they have been picking on her on Twitter. Next up was Kyoko, seemingly the more friendly of the three. Hopefully she's a lot less rough then Misako, and hopefully Mary can win this and not have to,roll around in Mud too much.

Her music played, and Mary came out of the curtain, holding a parasol to prevent unnecessary sunburn as she made her way. "And her opponent, standing at 5 feet 4 inches tall and weighing in at 135 pounds, The Quiet Beast, MARY CLAIRSON!" The ring announcer yelled as Mary had an intense blush on her face, as her bikini made her look absolutely stunning, causing loud cheers as she slowly made her way to the Mud pool. She looked at the Mud pool and swallowed, before putting away her parasol, and removing her Sarashi, showing the bikini bottom hiding underneath. She then took a deep breath and jumped in.

Mary headed to her corner, her feet and ankles covered in mud. "Hey Miss Kyoko, umm, if you act anything like Misako, I won't be afraid to make you end up the same way she did." Mary's voice cracked at her lousy attempt at trying to be tough. Needless to say, she wants this match to be fast. She will need a mighty shower.

Eager to throw herself into the action, Kyoko took this moment to do a few stretches, limbering herself up for the match. And soon enough, her opponent showed up on the scene. At the sight of Mary, Kyoko's face grew serious, and she placed her hands on her hips, standing square in the mud. She'd seen her match against Misako, and that had been enough to tell her that this woman meant business. But Kyoko was determined not to let the same mistakes that her partner had made happen to her. She'd be ready for this!

"I'm not afraid of you! Just so ya know!" Kyoko called back to Mary as she entered the pool. In fact, the feeling might not have been mutual. As tough as Mary talked, the wavering in her voice and the hesitancy of her stance made it seem as though the Quiet Beast was afraid even to set foot in the mud at all. Coupled with her elegant parasol and the cloth around her waist, she reminded Kyoko of some prissy rich girl, one who was already out of her element as soon as she'd gotten her feet dirty. That alone could give the delinquent the edge. Still, Kyoko knew she couldn't underestimate her, and she'd be ready all the same!

She would, however, test just how well Mary did with mud before the match began. As the blue-haired girl got settled in her corner, Kyoko kicked a foot up from the mud, sending a splash aimed right toward her! "Look out!" she cheered, already laughing at her own joke.

Mary knew that she was definitely out of her element in this Match, having to wrestle in a mud pit instead of a ring, in a bikini instead of a wrestling leotard. Compared to Kyoko, she still wore sandals instead of being barefoot, knowing that is what the RR girls did in their version of Mad Mud Matches. But if Mary was ever gonna become a great wrestler, she needed to put herself in new situations. She just needed to approach this like any other match.

And then Kyoko splashed mud at her, which caught Mary like surprise, landing on her ankle. When it hit her, she just signed. If Kyoko was gonna act like this, Mary was gonna have a little less remorse for making her tap. She wiped off the mud and waited for the bell to ring.

Kyoko had figured that kicking mud at Mary was going to garner more of a reaction. Maybe it would splatter all across her front, or send her slipping off her footing and coming crashing down with a splash. She had to admit she was a little disappointed when all that happened was the mud splashing onto her ankle, which the blue-haired girl greeted with little more than a dejected sigh. But Kyoko was easily amused either way, and she began chuckling. "Whaaat? You mad?" she teased. The thought that she had irked the Quiet Beast, even by just a little, was one that pleased her.

*DING DING DING*

However, soon the bell rang, and it was time for the two of them to act. Kyoko was quick to lower herself into a stance, raising her arms and wading through the mud to close in on Mary. When she got close, she would lean forward, looking to take her by the hands and push her weight into her for a test of strength!

Thus far, Kyoko felt smug in her knowledge that she'd been able to hold the advantage in morale over her foe. However, the match was yet to start, and it was anyone's game as to what would happen when it did! Kyoko was nonetheless ready, wading in toward her opponent through the mud as she prepared to meet her head to head in a test of strength. However, Mary was waiting for the moment the two of them would stop fooling around - and that was about to come.

At first, the two of them seemed on equal footing - every time Kyoko pushed at Mary, the blue-haired girl was able to respond in turn, evening out the struggle between them. Even if they had to be careful on their feet as they circled around the mud, they still found themselves in a deadlock, with neither of them making much progress. But where Mary could really shine was in the field of technical wrestling - and that was how she made her move, as she broke from the hold enough to grab Kyoko by the head and pull her in closer!

The delinquent groaned under her breath, bent over at the waist and sticking her rear out toward the crowd as Mary forced her face up against her sizeable chest. Though Kyoko tried to twist and turn, Mary was holding firm. She would have to change her tactics - and she used one hand to ball a fist, swinging it like a hammer into Mary's midsection!

Mary knew that if Kyoko fought anything like Misako, that she could easily outdo Kyoko in a technical wrestling exchange, Bikinis or not. And that was proven when she grabbed Kyoko and put her in a Side Headlock, Kyoko's head was close to Mary's chest, and Kyoko could only struggle. Mary had a tight as grip as anyone. Mary looked determined, but before she could think of going further with her next move, Kyoko swung her ball of a fist at Mary's exposed stomach.

"OOMPH!" Mary yelped as the fist crashed into her exposed stomach. It definitely felt unpleasant, not having a leotard's fabric give her at least some softening of the impact. This caused Mary to let go, holding her stomach with her arms. Kyoko could really throw a fist.

Much like Misako before her, Kyoko wasn't what anyone would call a particularly skilled wrestler. No one could expect to see her pulling out the sorts of complicated manuevers that made up so much of Mary's arsenal, no less making them look as effortless as Mary did. But Kyoko could hit hard - and that was what she was happy to fall back on, as she buried her knuckles deep into Mary's midsection, driving the air out of the blue-haired girl's lungs and sending her doubling forward over Kyoko's fist!

With Mary thus stunned, Kyoko was able to pull her head free from her opponent's grasp on it. With an eager grin on her face, she reached her arm over to grab Mary's head and pull it down over her shoulder. Then, she would duck down to get her shoulders underneath her opponent's front, hoisting her up on her back before she would kick off the ground and slam Mary face-first into the mud with a fireman's carry DDT! "Bombs away!!"
