A First Night of Many... [Drifter & Gaster]

"Damn... I don't think I'll need to eat ever again after that. I know I shouldn't have got that Dessert but... I couldn't help myself!" Kay gasped out, managing to tackle most of her Sundae. There was still a modest portion left, but it was clear Kay was throwing in the towel. Given her growing reputation as a woman who had yet to verbally surrender during a match, it was fun to see her finally meet her match in the form of Dessert. Kay was keeping quiet about it, hoping Clara did not pick up on such a thing as she carefully wiped her lips with a napkin to get rid of some of the chocolate.

Watching Clara, she noticed her attention was upon the quaint photoshoot that had been set up a little out of the ways. Kay smiled, reaching forwards to give Clara a reassuring squeeze upon her hand with her own. The staff were polite, no doubt waiting for Clara to make the move on her own time given all the food and dessert the two had eaten. Kay could see that Clara was ready though.
"Heh... I guess it's time for your big shot! Don't keep the poor people waiting. I'll be up with you in a second." Kay whispered, wearing her beautiful smile as she gave Clara's hand another squeeze, motioning her to go to the photoshoot.

Clara laughed as she saw Kay surrender to her dessert, Kay having enough place in her stomach to finish her desert, with all her plates being completely empty.

With the photoshoot ready, the two ladies grabbed each other's hands to give reassuring squeezes. Clara nodded at her girlfriend's reassuring words, getting up, quickly planting a quick kiss on her girlfriend's forehead, and leaving for the impromptu photoshoot.

The photoshoot ended up being a little more fun than Kay had anticipated in truth. Despite all her efforts to weasel out of getting a photo taken, Clara simply would not allow her to escape. The staff were eager to have her take part, but the moment Clara let it be known she was 'The Next Big thing in LAW' there was no getting away at that point. Soon enough a few customers in the restaurant began to get involved in a few of the photos, but the entire experience was laid back and enjoyable, with some silly photos being taken the moment the restaurant got the shot it wanted. Clara took a few autographs from customers, and eventually the two were able to make an escape when the staff managed to let the pair sneak out when it almost became a little too rowdy...

After slipping out the back entrance, both Clara and Kay were back outside again. The whole time Kay had an adorable smile upon her lips, coming up behind Clara.
"Thanks for tonight. I have to say, that's the first time I've been able to eat at such a fine restaurant. I think I'll be stuffed for a whole week; you'll see me in the Middleweight division for a little while after that." Kay whispered with a smile, snuggling up behind Clara before giving her a warming squeeze with an embrace.
"It was my intent to hit a few clubs with you... but I think I'm all tuckered out after that meal. If I dance right now, I'll either break the dance floor or something will come back up." Kay giggled, releasing Clara from her embrace before coming to her side.

"Could head back to my place if you fancy? Well... Irelia's place... but my room! Could just have a little snuggle and watch a movie or the such. A bit boring, I know... but we could save the clubbing for next time. Could always stay over too... you know.... if you fancy?" Kay added sheepishly. She had never asked anyone to stay over before... partly because she had never had a place of her own, partly this was her first real relationship.

The two women would exit the restaurant after the successful photo session and into the night. Clara chuckled at Kay's comment about how stuffed she was: "You and me both...we are hitting the gym tomorrow to burn through all of that...", Clara would say in a faux stern voice, right as Kay embraced her:

She planted a quick kiss on her girlfriend's forehead, before nodding: "Next time we will eat a lighter meal to get to a club..."

To Kay's suggestion, Clara once again nodded: "Sure, Netflix and chill sounds good to end the night off!", she smiled as the two women made their way towards Kay's home...

"Netflix and chill? I'm not all that Internet savvy, but I thought that had... a deeper meaning." Kay could not help but note with a curious yet adorable expression, having heard the term before. She was about to ask if Clara actually knew what Kay thought it implied when she noticed a young girl approach with what looked like her father or guardian. Kay smiled, seeing the girl sheepishly approach both Clara and herself with a small notebook, a cute little Japanese girl no doubt looking for an autograph. Kay stepped aside, motioning for Clara to approach.

"Heh... Go ahead Clara. You're about to make that little girls night one she'll never forget." Kay whispered with a cute smile. It had certainly been a joy to watch how many smiles Clara had put on her fans faces tonight. Seeing the joy and excitement she brought and all the happiness. These were the people that spurred her on during her hardest matches, turning certain defeats into victories. Many wrestlers in the LAW were heroes and inspirations to these people, and Kay was glad to see her girlfriend bringing such memories to such people as this little girl.

Kay's smile dropped however, turning into an expression of bewilderment when the girl passed Clara by, wearing a shy smile before she held up her notebook towards Kay herself. There was a moment of pause as Kay frowned in confusion, glancing towards Clara before looking back at the girl below her. The girls smile dropped a little, wondering why Kay was not taking her notebook and pen, before she stepped forwards, grunting a little as she held her book more aloft, wondering if Kay was simply unable to reach down so low.

Kay took the notebook sheepishly, looking somewhat taken aback and dumbfounded if not adorable.
"Me?" Kay whispered quietly, to which the girl nodded with a beaming smile.
"Huh..." Kay began to write her name in small letters before making a much larger 'Drifter' signature upon the notepad. She managed an awkward smile, before she handed the notebook back to the little girl. With a cheesy grin and a small giggle, the girl hugged Drifter's leg before she rushed away, turning her scampering into a delightful skip before she returned to her father figure, showing off her signature.

Kay was left speechless... she could not quite comprehend what had just happened.

"Nope. It's exactly what it sounds like!", Clara giggled as they were about to walk out of the restaurant when a pair, a father/guardian and his small daughter, approached them. Kay already stepped away, and Clara once again felt awkward about signing something in front of her girlfriend...

...only for the girl to ignore her entirely, just approaching Kay!

Kay was just as shocked as she was that the girl approached the blunette. After a few more seconds of both women standing there, shocked, Kay would finally grab the booked and the pen, and give the girl her autograph.

After a quick hug, the girl and her father left, with the girl showcasing her dad the signature:

"Look at you, with a growing fanbase!", Clara smiled earnestly.

"What? I don't have a fanbase." Kay yelped out in surprise, contrary to what just occurred before her very eyes. She scratched the back of her head a little, a bewildered expression still spread across her features whilst she continued to process what had happened. Kay had never signed an autograph before, the entire affair was completely foreign to her, whereas no doubt Clara was used to such things by now.
"Eh... Whatever. I'm sure it was just a one off." Kay near yelped out, looking to try and brush it off.

It was clear however from her look that she did not know what to really think about it all. Kay had never considered the possibility that 'Drifter' actually had fans. True, she got plenty of cheers when she walked to the ring with her unusual entrance, but she always considered herself a stop gap of sorts. The crowd would cheer her because she was the good guy, something that was done naturally... the concept that there might be those amongst the fans that specifically come to see her fight.

It was a little too much to think about for the rookie lightweight right now.
"So... shall we head back to my place?" Kay spoke out, turning back to Clara with a smile, no doubt looking to shake off the whole experience.

"Ooooh...of course you do!", Clara tried to cheer her partner up, but she still seemed unsure of what happened:

"Sure it was...", Clara responded with a coy smile at the fact that that might've been a one off occurrence. Clara was sure that, even if Kay wasn't winning 100% of the time, the fans valued her perseverance and spirit in the ring. And that went a long way in connecting with a fanbase.

For now though, it was time to Netflix and Chill:

"Sure! Lead the way!", she'd tell Kay, as they went towards her home in Tokyo...

Choosing to walk and talk once again, the two girl friends would venture through the streets of Japan. By now the sun was slowly beginning to settle, bringing dusk to the gradually darkening skies. Luckily the duo managed to make it to Irelia's place before nightfall. Kay felt a little bit nervous about the whole thing. She had never had a place of her own, and whilst technically that was still true, Irelia had been kind enough to give her a place to stay and make it her own until she was on her feet. Essentially... Her room had become her home, and Clara was the first person she had ever brought back to see it.

Biting her lower lip, Kay opened the door to Irelia's place. It was quite a large house, indicating that Irelia herself was well established with wealth. The rooms were grand and well furnished, modern to the eye yet welcoming.
"Lia! I'm back! I brought a friend!!" Kay called out, before sheepishly looking back at Clara as she motioned her to enter.
"Umm... I brought my girlfriend!" Kay corrected herself, managing a cheeky but cute grin at Clara. There was no response... given Kay had brought her girlfriend, if Irelia had been in, she would have been present before Kay could finish a sentence.

"She must be out. She's a bit of a party girl. I can't... really give you a real tour until she's here... but I can show you my room! We can do the full tour when Irelia comes back, I’m sure she won’t be out too late." Kay spoke out, though she knew Irelia could stay out until the next day at times. She was all but certain Irelia wouldn't mind Kay showing Clara the place, but there was always an element of something there... that it didn't feel right, that Irelia should at least be present for that. As such Kay motioned Clara to follow her upstairs. Even in the darkening hours the place was still well lit, as a few lamps had turned on in their own accord sensing the growing darkness. Soon enough Kay opened a door, smiling as she looked to show Clara her abode.

"This is my pad..." Kay spoke with a hint of pride. The room was surprisingly well sized, bigger than a single flat with an on suite bathroom. The place was alarmingly clean and tidy, her bed a Queen size, all made and well kept. There was a flat screen TV on the wall and a Playstation 4 set up below it. It was all modest yet somehow befitting of Kay's persona. She had a wardrobe for storage, but there wasn't enough belongings to her name to fill it. The place was well lit, the carpet below soft. Before Kay entered she slipped off her sneakers, leaving them in the hallway outside. She wore ankle high black socks, purposely sliding into the room to show off how soft the carpet was as she smiled and turned to Clara.

Those nerves were seemingly gone now, replaced by excitement as she motioned for Clara to follow. "Come on in! Make yourself at home."

Clara was very curious about Irelia and Kay's home. Usually, she was the one who invited her partners to her house, and it's actually been a while since she has been at someone else's house!

Clara quietly waited for Kathy to check the situation, whether Irelia was at home or not, with a question that elicited a quiet growl from the Brit, as Kay looked at her...

...until the correction was issued with a cute smile. All anger from Clara was gone in an instant, looking back at her with a smile. Still, the only response from the house for the two girls was silence.

As Kay explained to her the fact that she wanted for Irelia to show her the house, Clara nodded: "Lead the way!"

Still, Clara couldn't help but peek at how the house looked. It was bigger than she expected, Clara thinking that there was enough space to house a small family here.

"Other than you and Irelia, is there anyone else who lives here?", she quizzed Kay, as the two stepped into their room...

"Whoa...it's so...cozy!"

She thought that the room Kay stayed at was tiny...but in fact, it was only slightly smaller than her current flat! She had everything she needed in here to feel relaxed and at peace...feeling like she was home.

"Um...do you mean...at "home" at home, or just, like...relax?", she quizzed her girlfriend. Now that they were alone, she got certain...ideas on her mind, involving hugs and lips, and she wasn't sure whether Kay was ok with them right now, poking at the question carefully for now...
