Into the dragon's den (for Aeri)

Kate felt like she was moving through oil, her moves sluggish, coming too late to achieve anything as Athena forced her to bend down and started to apply a choke to her. Ezakiel was not really something you could successfully lock standing, at least not to its final result, but it certainly gave the woman a lot of control over Kate's body and, at the very least, slowed down her recovery. Or it would if not for the burning pain blooming in Kate's core, a new spike of adrenaline following it, growing stronger with the second hit carving in her abs and almost causing Kate to barf, but the pain was a great anchor, focusing on it helped fight the drowsiness that just seconds ago threatened to put her under.

"I... think..." Kate got out through her teeth, stepping closer and forcing her way up the hold, her thigh now getting in the way of the following knee, one of her hands going behind Athena's back to keep her close. "I... crave some..." She said, now eye to eye with Athena, a single thought barrelling its way through her mind 'fuck it'. She kissed the woman, using her free hand to slam a hook into Athena's liver while she had nowhere to retreat, repeating it as many times as it took to make her let go before stepping back.

"Dragon foie gras~" She finished, wiping off her mouth and looking at Athena, at this point, not even sure what was going through her head, firmly in 'fuck it, let's ball' mode. She was having a blast now, later can wait for well, later.

“You.. think..?”

Athena repeated after her, confused by the statement. She had a chokehold locked in, and her arms were tightening around Kate’s neck like a coiling python, and her knee was periodically mashing against her flesh.

But Kate was making an attempt to move.

To draw her closer.

And oh, oh, suddenly the purple haired fighter was pressing her lips against her and an arm around her back to draw her in, causing even Athena to be shocked. She hadn’t expected this- in a way she had, Kate was clearly into her, but she didn’t expect a kiss mid fight. It was needy too- and Athena was going to comment about how Kate should get laid more if her tits riled her up to this extent, but.. Athena smashed her knee and met flesh that wasn’t abs.

Alarmed, she looked down just in time to see-

Three painful bombs to her open liver, left unguarded by her surprise caused Athena to choke in her own mouth, lip locked by Kate, gagging as she felt light headed, unable to breathe.

“K-kgh..”

.. or to speak. She staggered. Her h vision blurred and her palms pushed against Kate to propel herself back, make distance.. but it only caused her to stagger and crash into the wire mesh.. she held it with one hand for support and the other holding her injured stomach, her legs trembling from the nasty shots.. Athena was rendered unable to speak for the first time this fight. The knight had finally penetrated the dragons defences.. and it left her temporarily at her mercy.

Her body hurt, lungs burned, and she was drenched in sweat, and yet, Kate was having the time of her life. An opponent like Athena was a rare find, and even though Kate was luckier than most, she could still count them on one hand, half after accounting for how they clicked together.
All logic would suggest she should exploit this moment, descend on Athena with all she had, knock her out as quickly as she could before the woman could recover. It might still not be enough with how tricky the woman proved to be so far, but it was the best idea... except that would mean they might be done soon, and she enjoyed this fight way too much to want it to end now, or at all, really.

But if anything, this fight certainly proved that Athena could take a lot an,d really, it would not be half as satisfying if either of them started holding back, not to mention dumb, basically asking to get laid out flat. And so Kate chenged her stance slightly, lighter on her feet as she advanced, reaching out her hand under Athena's chin to make sure she was looking as Kate stuck out her tongue to her in a bit of a taunt just the two of them could know of... as well as ligning her up for a huge right hook that she sent right for the woman's chin!

After that, she would move from side to side to build momentum, anticipating how her opponent would move from that strike to stick her with an uppercut right at the perfect moment to make her stay straight up before a right cross aimed right to the face to keep the redhead nailed right up against the cage wall!

It has been a long while since Athena was on the back ropes- or well, on the back ropes without a plan. The multiple liver shots had rocked the gingers world, and she was seriously considering throwing up almost immediately. But.. Kate was still at the other side of the ring and she wasn’t giving Athena even a moment to rest.

“H-aah..”

She steadied herself, shaking her head but mid shake, it met Kate’s fingers, who made her look at her sticking out her tongue. A flash of annoyance went through her head- this isn’t how it’s supposed to go, ATHENA should be on top and winning!

But it was like a flash of thunder hit her, snapping her head to the side and leaving her reeling. Her head spun, and Athena gasped for air- before an uppercut knocked her head back, bashing her against the cage-

Followed by one of the most painful right crosses she had a pleasure to experience, her blood flecking the canvas and her cheeks squished, lips pushed out underneath Kate’s fist. Blood trickled as the dragon groaned almost piteously, collapsing forwards into Kate, on one knee with her arm hooked around her shoulder.. clearly, Athena was unused to being on the losing side this long!

Kate was certainly learning a lot in this fight, aside from the obvious of any challenging fight leading to growth, of course, she was also getting to appreciate the feeling of control she had right now. She always found that people who dragged fights out just to show off were, at best, careless, at worst, straight out stupid, but she was understanding the appeal now, not enough to indulge herself, but it was certainly enlightening.

Not to say she was not planning to enjoy herself at all in this situation, it was only fair after all to give the ginger a taste of her own medicine. So seeing her stumble and fall forward, Kate had a perfect opportunity to do just that as she'd grab her as she collapsed forward, keeping her standing and pulling her up, arms under her armpits, wrapping around her body as she would almost gently hold her up, letting her head rest against her cheek.

"You're all mine now" She'd whisper in a soft tone, as if to comfort the other woman but right after dooing that, in a miror to what happened moments ago, she would drive a knee strike into the woman's belly, letting Athena's body colapse around it after inicial impact before doing it again and again!

Athena was.. down. There was no other way to say it, she was in a bad state and Kate was keen to worsen it until she completely collapsed. Her face rested against Kate’s cheek, as she took a deep breath, feeling her arms locked up under Kate’s armpits.. soft and nice enough but..

Definitely there to keep her up with all the certainty of a steel trap. Athena would widen her eyes at the whisper, Kate had a domme side apparently.. and Athena wanted to avoid giving into the soft voice.

It was noticeably easier after the first kick came. Smashing into her ribcage, Athena gasped, her lips widen open.. but clarity regained her gaze.

“Oh.. I.. don’t think so..”

She murmured, glaring at Kate as she moved quicker than expected, throwing her body weight against Kate to get her off kilter, before smashing her forehead into the other girls mouth!
