Re: Training up the Barbarians: Featuring SimplyWoo, Fairy Dragon, and Weonna
Oscar smiled as he happily shook hands with Grace, raising his eyebrows in surprise as he wound up learning a bit of her history.
"Woah, really? That's awesome! I'm not sure if they'd allow a man to compete for a spot in that Apex show- but on the very slim chance there's still a spot open by the time I graduate, I might consider throwing my hat in the ring"
The man nodded his head as he released Grace's hand and listened to Tina's instructions for the drills he'd be running with Matilda today.
"Sounds like a plan, boss! Lead on to the gym area and we'll be right behind you"

"Ok great." Tina mentioned at them liking the plan, she then grinned at Oscar. "Patience Sunny." She teased Oscar based on his sunshine nickname. "I already designated the lobby for stretches and warm-ups, which I do not see you doing, do you want me to make you run laps around this facility?" She joked as she continued to stretch and hop about for a few minutes, warming herself up until she worked up a little bit of a sweat. "Ok, I think that's been enough limbering up, now we can head to the ring." She mentioned as led the way towards the ring with an enthusiastic spring in her step. She then hopped up onto the edge of the ring before leaping over the top rope to enter in the ring.
She then strutted over to the center of the ring and twisted around to face Grace. "We'll start off with Grace teaching us her technique for a standing frontal bearhug with me being her training dummy." She then gave Grace a wink. "Whenever you are ready babe."

Re: Training up the Barbarians: Featuring SimplyWoo, Fairy Dragon, and Weonna
So far this was good, these two were clearly willing to learn from them and given the good relation between Oscar and Tina they already had a connection to start with and go from there, she hoped that she could contribute to this, her bearhug was good but she didn't win the match between her and Grace so it felt odd to be the one teaching this. She knew Tina was trying to integrate her more among friends and people Tina knew, so she had to give it a try for that. Grace entered the ring after Tina and would turn to make sure that Matlida and Oscar were watching before she would get close to Tina and gently wrap her arms around her waist.
"First off, you need to make sure that you put your hands at the right spot. Right blow the shoulder blades near the small of the back. If you're too high or low you give someone an easier time escaping, and with how much energy you'll be using for a move like this you don't want to do that." Grace said and demonstrated by giving Tina's body a snug squeeze. "Next, link your arms in a way that you think works for you, you want a grip that won't be easy to break even if they struggle and move, if your grip is too inflexible it might be more trouble maintaining it." Grace and turned Tina away from them so they could see how her arms were linked.

Matilda was an observant and careful learner who would always ask questions. When she saw the bearhug she scratched her head and raised a hand as if she was on school.
"Ziss seems too easy of ahn mofe to learn. Usually if you hafe someone in position like zat vouldn't it be more sufficient to just suplex zem or take zem down ahnd shlam em in der mats? I know in most shports cardio ahnd energy are fery important but vhat's der benefit of using a mofe zat could ahlso drain you of your "energy" or "stamina" vhich efer you prefer."

Oscar would quickly follow Tina's lead in doing his stretches in the lobby, not really loving the idea of running laps all around the facility as he could only respond with an awkward chuckle. What a doofus. Once he and Matilda finished getting all loose and limber, he would head to the guts of the facility to begin the lesson. He stood patiently, observing Grace as she used Tina like a test dummy for the bearhug while explaining the steps to execute the move. Oscar's attention would be sweeped over to Matilda when she asked her question, keeping quiet as to let the teachers do their job while also trying to unscramble what as said.

Re: Training up the Barbarians: Featuring SimplyWoo, Fairy Dragon, and Weonna
As Grace wrapped her arms around her, Tina played the part of Vanna White and was motioning with her hands, sweeping them down the sides to show that Grace's arms were snug below her sides of her breasts. She then let out a soft groan as Tina lifted one heel up behind her as Grace gave her a slight squeeze as she shifted her hands to rest on Grace's shoulders. She then giggled a little as Grace twisted her around to show how Grace had her grip secured and once again modeled by bringing her hands behind her back and pointing down at Grace's grip before she wrapped her arms around Grace's neck.
She then heard Matilda ask her question as she then looked back. "I don't think Grace meant how much energy you'll be using as in this move is physically exhausting to use. In fact, like most submissions, it's either meant to be used at the finish, or if you are worn down from all the running and slamming and just want to apply something that will conserve your energy while draining theirs, or if you want to surprise someone at the start of the match to start draining them while you are fresh, like starting off with a waist lock for example. It makes no difference honestly, you can really clamp this on at any time." Now I'm not saying this can't be a draining move. You can definitely tire yourself out by trying to maintain a squeeze for a very long time. That's why I recommend if you are applying the hold that you don't do one long ongoing squeeze, but rather you apply pressure for a few seconds, then ease up, then repeat and try to go into a rhythm, that way you can disrupt your opponent's breathing to force more air out from them or throw off them trying to catch their breath." She mentioned as she then looked to Grace in order to confirm or if she wanted to chime in with her own thoughts and continue the demonstration.

Re: Training up the Barbarians: Featuring SimplyWoo, Fairy Dragon, and Weonna
Grace heard the question and was carefully thinking of an answer before Tina beat her to it. She got most of what Grace wanted to say by herself and when she turned to her for confirmation Grace nodded her head. ""This move gets used by some people early on, I've used it early in matches sometimes but really it's not meant for that. It's only a move you should be using to finish a match, on a fresh opponent it takes a lot of time to beat them unless you catch them before they tighten up. Besides that it's best to use in bursts. An extended bearhug can be exhausting for the user as well as the recipient if their careless, if you use it wisely it's as effective as any other submission, sometimes more." Grace said before she would strive to prove it by giving Tina a tight squeeze there, once she had given her ample warning that she was about to do it.
The muscles in her arms tightened around Tina's waist, attempting to make the big girl smaller in between them and squeeze real right before eventually faltering and easing up on Tina's body. "See the most painful part of the move is the squeeze at the beginning, but that kind of power is only going to last so long, like flexing a muscle. After it's over, I can still hurt Tina here but this is mostly trapping her in place, until I can squeeze her again with that kind of power she's probably not going to submit. The benefit is from here assuming my grip is on tight she has to work hard to escape, and she would be need to be quick and careful, if she isn't prepared the next time I squeeze on her waist she might not be able to endure it." Grace said.

Matilda carefully listened to Grace's instructions and tips as she nodded and observed the bearhug squeeze carefully.
"Ok...I guess zat makes sense...but vhen do I get to try? I like to learn hands-on...helps me learn faster if zat makes sense."
Matilda was eager to get back in the ring and she wanted to test the bearhug herself as she believed she can learn this move quite easily.

Oscar also listened along to Grace's explanation on the move. While he was already very familiar with how to execute a good bearhug, Oscar was always happy to hear someone else's insight on how to make the move work. Hearing Matilda's eagerness in her voice, Oscar glanced over to the lady barbarian and smiled at her.
"I imagine they'll either want to use the advanced training dummies or maybe Tina will be your training dummy. She does love her hugs after all"
Oscar chuckled and looked back at the instructors as he awaited their descision.

Tina bit her lower lip gently in a cute manner as Grace nodded that she was going to intensify the hold. She then felt Grace's intense squeeze and groaned out as in reflex she wrapped her arms around Grace's neck, grimacing as endured Grace's squeeze until she eased up, to which Tina's arms fell limp at her sides temporarily as she rested the side of her face on Grace's shoulder as she looked to the students, playfully crossing her eyes and sticking her tongue out in a comedic moment. "Ommmph, good hug sweetheart." She mentioned as she leaned her head up and patted Grace on the shoulders to let her know it was ok to let her go. She snickered at Oscar's suggestion, "So quick to forget that I already mentioned Matilda will be testing things out on Grace. Alright Matilda, here's the moment you've been eager for." She mentioned as she walked over beside Oscar, twisting around to be to his side as she brought her closest arm up to rest on Oscar's shoulder. "Let's see how good of a squeeze you can put on Grace here, Grace, whenever you are ready sweety."
